Book of Enoch
The Book of Enoch, written during the second century B.C.E., is one of the most important non-canonical apocryphal works, and probably had a huge influence on early Christian, particularly Gnostic, beliefs. Filled with hallucinatory visions of heaven and hell, angels and devils, Enoch introduced concepts such as fallen angels, the appearance of a Messiah, Resurrection, a Final Judgement, and a Heavenly Kingdom on Earth.

Great app! The whole book, in readable English, very nice graphical format looks like print on paper, paper-like page flip, day/night setting, adjustable font size/color and line spacing, really like that I can make unlimited bookmarks I label myself to remember where I read certain ideas so I can compare with similar ideas in the Bible. Also like that the app reopens to where I last read.
I love the font size and the way the pages turn. I just can't deal with the adverts that role continuously at the bottom of the page (I guess that is what you get with free apps) so reading it is not pleasant....I have bought myself a hard copy for this reason. Thanks for making it available...it wet my appetite to read it.
Pros: 1. It has a lot of information & many, many book chapters 2. The text size and language is easy to read, see & understand. 3. It has FLIPABLE PAGES with chapter number and book % place marker at bottom of book page. 4. When reopening app, it opens where you left off. 5. It is very informative. I installed & uninstalled several other Book of Enoch thar were not informative and full of ads. Cons: 1. No settings that I saw. 2. Internal storage only.
Very enlightening. The display is great and the developers did well. I love reading from such templates. However, update it so that we can flip to anypage of our choice. Thanks
Amazing stuff, I just wish it had more versions such as Amplified NIV and maybe message so as to have a detailed and well documented story. But other than that, easy to use and accurate. Perfection!
It's a simple straight forward app with font adjustment, a day/night backround and good index or catalog page as they call it. I'd give it a 6 if they had included a Hebrew and Spanish option setting, not that I could use either, just saying.
I'm really enjoying reading the Book of Enoch. Obviously not apart of the Biblical Canon but still very interesting and informitive, helping to connect the original scriptures in story form and enhancing the experience of learning more about the ones that lacked details! This perticular app is the one I like best, being that I've had others over the years. I suggest, if you're interested in a very detailed description of the Genesis stories, this is the book/app for you! Good Job all around!
To me this is the most wonderful book of the whole 'Bible'. And it's so easy to read and study because of the font they used. The ads are a bit challenging and sometimes changes the page, but I understand why ads are there. 10 out of 10.
pretty frustrating with all the adverts and rate me questions it's almost impossible to read peacefully. once read to chapter23 it blocked me all together. there's a small clip says rate us on Google play highlighted the bit they want you to click on. strange how the other choices "later" & "no thanks"are not responsive.
Your Book of Enoch is great. I like the way you have each page and chapter set up separately. If I get called way I can close the app and when I come back to it later on that day or in two days it takes me right back to where I was at... I'm going to check on the update and get back to you later. Bookmarks and notes that you've included a tarp great.
Easy to navigate. Adjustable size print. About 4 chapters are not included and can be found in some books. I do like the way the pages turn like paper. Nice touch!
Well layer out. The formating is easy and user friendly. My only critique would be the access of chapters from the page you are currently on. I wish that was a little different. Other then that love this app.
Very interesting. It would be much better if the ads at the bottom had a dark background. The bright 'white' is blinding makes reading difficult after a few minutes.
Text size is kind to senior eyes. Pages are easy to flip once downloaded. I would have liked for this book to be readable offline without redoing it after the first time. Thank you!
Works fine. Small ad bar at the bottom can be a little distracting because it continuously flips through ads while reading. The flickering of the moving ad is my only complaint.
the app sticks when I turn the pages. I have to close the app then open it again in order to turn the page. Very very frustrating!! I will be trying out a different app because this is ridiculous.
We need a copy & paste function. Also the bookmarking system needs to be updated. A reader can't add to what's already there, they have to create a new bookmark each time. Why not allow folders of some sort.
Thank you for taking the time to make this into an app anyone of any age can download and read whenever they please! I was stuck reading the Book of Enoch and the other "lost" stories online, which is NOT easy if you lose connection to the internet or if the page never loads where you last where - THIS is different, it is so nice and may the Most High bless all of you that put effort into developing this app! Nice app. I appreciate that it looks like an old book and that you can adjust from a day to a night screen so you don't have to hurt your eyes at night. Being able to highlight text would take this up a notch.
Like the way it pages on my phone. Feels like I'm actually reading a book. There are some terminologies I don't understand and it would be great if there was a dictionary embedded on the app itself.
Excellent resource for an non Apocryphal Bible text , present in the early Bible used by the Jews, Jesus and apostle's, but removed by the earthly principalities that dictate, which scripture is real or not. The question is what they don't want us to know ? ..I find this to be an invaluable resource and this edition to be the best, most user-friendly and searchable
The book is functioning well and the format is amazing. However, blinking advert makes my eyes uncomfortable. Cannot read this for hours :( And the content is incomplete, said other people.
The pages turn really well and when you reopen app it always goes to where you left off. Very interesting and scary reading as well. Will put the fear of God in you for sure!!!
This app has really helped me in understanding more about the word of God. It has bridged the gaps in some missing connections of the scripture. Thanks to both the app developer and the presenter of this book of priceless value.
I appreciate the method of "turning" the pages. There is also the creative concept of showing chapter read/being read and the correlating percentage of entire book. Thank you!
What can I say? The text is in English.. there are a few errors in spelling but easily transposed. The app functions well & ads remain at the very bottom.
I just love it... Unlike other apps, I don't have to search for my last read/page whenever I reopen the app. It takes me straight to the page I was reading. No stress at all.
Book of Enoch is a Good App. Easily able to change the font, spacing and layout to make reading easy on the eyes. Happy to find the Book of Enoch at all, tremendously pleased with finding it as a free application. The ads are not intrusive, laid out at the bottom of the screen. May pay 2.99 for an add free experience. Will decide after I read the book.
