Book of Mushrooms

In the calendar it would be better if you could click the mushroom to view it and to see its details. Currently it can not do this. Good clear pictures that have various angles and good description and very detailed. The app itself seems to me very easy to use and very intuitive thank you

Good pictures, easy to navigate. Plain text descriptions are very lengthy, text not very structured, bit boring for amateurs like myself and not catchy to the eye when reading. App does not provide link to look alike mushrooms which I think it is very important.

Something to be very careful of, is it will say Edible at the top, but then in the description say it is inedible. Don't use this app if you looking to find out what mushrooms are edible or not. It does have nice pictures for easy identification though.

Great app. Easy to browse and clean interface. I'm not a mushroom expert so I don't know if there are missing species of whatever. Only downside is, I still couldn't figure out why it requires write/read permission to gallery :) I'd love to hear a response.

This app is currently a total mess. There are inedible and potentially poisonous species listed as edible. Some mushrooms listed under scientific name whilst other related ones are listed under common or even outdated names making them hard to find. Some seem to have the wrong image entirely. Ultimately the number of species is just pretty limited anyway. Dangerous for those who don't know any better - useless for those who do.

Good photos, good description, a lot of mushrooms. Comparing to other books apps (not identification apps) this is the best. Could you implement a possibility that user can add a short note to each mushroom ? No one app has that possibility and your Book would be surely unique in that case.

This app could be great with a few tweaks it's already good! Maybe link the mushrooms in mushroom calender to the mushroom discription and photos etc .. And when searching include all mushrooms rather than having swap between edible and poisonous categories.. Maybe a country/area filter too. Then I'll happily buy the ad free version. John

This is great if you know what your looking for and alot of mushrooms are here but There is no filter for mushrooms you find outdoors. No way to sketch by color or Sharpe or veil or gill shape or spore color nothing to help you identify what you have. You would need to take hours just scrolling and comparing. There needs to be some kinda filter system to use for identification.

Ok, some descriptions are vague, some species do not have sufficient photos. Why do I rate 5 out 5 I hear you ask. Simple; the rest is very very good. Never use a single source to identify a mushroom though. Always cross check.

Nice app BUT: App doesn't show poisonous doppelgangers of edible mushrooms. Also please add an option to add own names (in our own language) to each mushroom to make it easier. The search function should also support this and search within added own names. Thank you!

Great app! Extremely useful, especially the "Hunting Time!" section. Only suggestion is to color mushrooms yellow when they are "conditionally edible" and perhaps when they taste poor.

I would gladly give this app full marks but there is only one thing I would like to improve upon it I myself have a reading problem and there is a lot to read I have an app that if I am able to highlight and copy it would read it to me but sadly this app is not compatible with that :-( if they would update the app so it was compatible with how my reading app worked this app would be perfect :-) but despite that one thing it seems to be a very good program

Needs to be categorized. By color, species, something other than edible or not. Should be able to compare similar mushrooms for edibility, rather than edibility by shroom. Each should have a spore print as an upper paragraph for exact identification.

Pretty useless when you're in a field and want to identify whether a fungi in front of you is poisonous or not! What I was looking for was the capability to take a photo and for the app to identify it.

I wanted an app to allow me to identify fungi I found. This does not. You can only search by Latin name. It doesn't tell you how to tell one species from another. It has only about 250 species. Not enough.

it is important to specify all the affects and side affects of any poisonous mushroom. just knowing it is poisonous is not enough. that being said, this app is useful, just not complete.

Good app, but missing a lot of choice edible species such as black trumpets, lobster mushrooms, maitake, and matsutake.

Very limited collection of mushrooms, and the titles vary between common names and latin, making it very hard to search for information.

Really good! So good that I bought the pro version. This is my third time only to buy an app in a decade, so well done!

This looks pretty good, but within five minutes I found it didn't have Black Trumpets, aka Black Chantrelles.

All the needed information is free and even though there are a few ads here and there, the app is great.

Nice Start for the app But not quite professional. The only way to exit the app is to find the quit option.

It was great. Its not useful for South Africa mushrooms . But 👍 enjoying

This app, is by far, the most comprehensive app's, of mushrooms that i have found, and i have checked out many.

Love this app needs more mushroom species added tho and regions like wyoming and Midwest plz and add an article on the chaga mushroom it grows in snowy climates like Siberia and wyoming climates are almost similar in the winter depending on temperature fluctuations

Lots of Pictures and table for cross reference and seasonality are awesome!

needs more species,, I normally a harsh critic in apps, but this one is rather good.
