Tried subscribing with my credit card, but then found out the app automatically registered me as a GB resident, which I'm not. The only option would be to contact them via mail, even though it would be far easier if they offered the option to change the country by ourselves. Please make the app more customer-friendly and customisable!

Very very good and easy app. Just don't have that many books in English unfortunately. Considering Audible instead, but would like to support a Swedish company. Just frustrating that current audio books are not being made available, such as Shadow and Bone or Dune etc.

Really high quality app. No issues at all. Lots of well known good books available. Looking forward to more new & classic books being added as time goes on. I'd really appreciate a 'new' subsection in the categories. Also the ability to make requests would be awesome.

Yeah the app is a mess. The player works but looks like something developed 10 years ago. The sorting is trash. There's plenty there, it's just half way impossible to find anything. This is embarrassing, good thing I haven't played for this garbage. Use Storytel instead, pretty much the same but... It works.

This app is great. One payment a month and all books free. Now that's no a word you hear often. I've had no issues with this app in the 3 yrs I've used it. Forget other sites this is the best. Thanks bookbeat you've kept me sain through lock down. 👍

This was the only place I was able to get access to a Diana Wynne Jones book I'd been trying to read for ages. The selection of books beyond the one I was looking for was also great. A more than worthwhile audiobook app.

The app does not accept Visa or Mastercard issued by a non-Polish bank, so I was unable to even start using it. I live in Ireland.

The search function is barely functional, unfortunately. It keeps forgetting the filter from over search to the next, and it defaults to including both audiobooks and e-books even though I use it exclusively for audio. There's no way to set the default language to English, and it keeps showing me books in Swedish even though I have no interest in them. There's no way to sort books by original publication date or filter/group them by narrator/publisher. And so on.

I have to say I'm pretty impressed which is a surprise. In my experience there's no other app in which you can get unlimited new/recent Audiobooks and Ebooks. Modestly priced too. Everything with the app is pretty spot on. The only reason I can mark it down for is that there's a lot of authors it doesn't have. So if you're looking for a particular author, often you won't find them. Maybe if we can have an author request section that would be good. This app will be as essential as Spotify.

Great service and great application. I've tried audible, storytel and even the books from Spotify and Deezer, but either the selection is poor, the good books difficult to find and the application unpractical, or the service is too pricy for heavy user. I like it that I can just start different books und maybe leave them unfinished and start another one without extra charge. The support has a quick response time and is helpful.

Great app, selection is OK. But please give us up to 3.5 times playback speed, like audible and podcast players!

Only into my second book but having been an audio book fan for a long time this app is genius. Biggest issue with other sites had been the 1 book a month principle or high costs of additional books and this solves all that. I know it's more expensive than other audio book options a month but when you consider you have unlimited books, yes, unlimited, then it's an absolute steal. If you like audio books then you have got to try this. The trial period makes it even better.

Audio & text do not sync, so pretty painful to switch between reading and listening or to check images/graphs while listening (Storytel can do this, in case you are debating which one to get) Support not available via mobile (captcha not there but blocks anyway everything). Variety of books is ok, but can't really recommend the app itself.

Really great app! Love the sleep menu for easily resuming after having fallen asleep and then woken up. One suggestion: could we get an easy way for resuming with the same sleep settings again if not fallen asleep? If I set the sleep mode to e.g. 15min and didn't fall asleep I would like a simple way to restart with another 15min without "waking up too much". Trigger could be one button on the lock screen, double-click volume-up button, shake the device.

Instant 1 star, It's ridiculous that i can not turn off seeing Swedish books. All i was seeing was books written in Swedish. No offense, but if you only want to make this app for your country, you should put it on description. Many other things like verification is not English either. Ridiculous

Fantastic, a lot of reading for the small price tag, it seemlessly picks up from where left off across devices accurately, something audible can't seem to do, always picking up two to three chapters back from where you left off, really annoying Look out audible, you have a worthy adversary.

Limited selection and terrible UI. No table of content, doesn't remember where I was last, support forms don't work, language choices are not working. When the UI is redone completely it's probably great but in the current state it's just not good enough

I am happy to maintain this subscription AND audible...the 2 meet different needs...audible tends to have exclusives...bookbeat is fab for purging a subject...ill always look here 1st before paying for a book on audible...and i can say 50% of the time i find it here. The cost is fantastic...so it's a no brainer.
