Bookmark Folder

The reason I installed this app was to eliminate losing all of my bookmarks when upgrading my phone. I don't use Chrome for privacy reasons. I can't get the lock function to work on the folders or the links. I've even tried locking the entire app using my security system which works on all other apps in my system except this one; otherwise it works great! Update: I can't delete links in the folders. Update #2: The app doesn't look at the entire URL when adding in another URL from the same site.

EDIT: I LOVE and appreciate the quick developer response. Turns out, there was a simple solution to my question. Highly recommend! I'm one of those awful people that always has a million tabs open because my mind is always racing with so many different things I want to look up. As a result, my phone would always run slowly. I love that this app allows me to not only save the websites so I can continue research at a later date without losing my spot but that it also allows me to categorize them.

I love this bookmark app, it's easy to use which is perfect for someone like me who isn't the most computer savvy person in the world. This app does exactly what it says it will do and doesn't have a bunch of extra functions that I would never use that would just use up space anyway. This app is streamlined, versatile and easy to use. 05/11/22 Still love this app, so easy to use, you can color coordinate folders, editing folders is easy. This app keeps my entire life coordinated.

Excellent because it's simple. Chrome bookmarks were driving me crazy. There may be a way to put the categories into alphabetical order but I haven't found it yet. I stopped bookmarking many things because I couldn't locate them again. And then I found this app. Problem solved. Thanks! Update: the app is better all the time. When I contacted the developer because I couldn't figure out how to access backup files when I accidentally deleted all, he responded immediately and I got it all back.

Was looking for a new bookmark aggregator app, and stumbled upon this. I had low expectations, but was surprised by its functionality and flexibility. Very easy to use, love that you can assign a particular browser to a link (ex. certain browsers are better for live streaming than others), and, importantly, especially easy to save a bookmark from a browser straight to the app. The ads aren't intrusive, but gladly paid the small fee to get rid of them as a thank you for a straight forward bookmark aggregator. Can't find any faults so far, so this gets five stars, and I recommend this without reservation.

I was looking for an app that would allow me to bookmark webpages independent of the source. This allows combined bookmarking from different browsers and whatnot in one place. Also, I can now save all the web pages for one project in one place with folders for subtopics. This information can be easily shared or copied to other devices. I consider it one of the top 10 apps on my phone.

It's so amazing. I can now easily organize all my favorite sites and keep it, then open it in just a single touch. It would be much better or even best if I can edit the the icon and put a picture as an icon descriptive of my bookmark title, name, or content. I hope it can possibly done later on. But still this app is awesome, really love it. Thanks much and keep it up.

Very good app, like it a lot. 5 stars because it does what it needs to do. I do want to give some feedback though. It would be nice to have better thumbnails for Youtube videos, like it does in Marks for Youtube, where you have an actual thumbnail of the video from youtube so you can indentify videos a lot better and a lot quicker. It looks better too EDIT UPDATE: Colored maps are included, thanks a lot! ! Any chance for the YT video thumbnails? Great app, keep it coming!

The icon image and icon image update doesn't seem to work it says update 0/3 (3 images attempted) et cetera and just sits there. Strange as the icons seem to work perfectly for the ads!!!! Other than that the app is exactly what I need and is simple to use, and I will buy the app if the icon issue is addressed. So many users seem to bring this problem up, so please fix.

Bought version. Excellent software. Like that I can create folders and subfolders, color them, and sort them in any order. Very flexible. No longer looking for "something better", this is the one..

Bad reviews being removed /reported by the developers... Don't trust the app. (reply to developers) You can report the review tho, I've seen it happen. Thanks for keeping this up. I used the app to backup Firefox bookbarks to another. Maybe I chose the wrong app, it doesn't work for that. I'll leave this review up for others that may tried the same thing. Great app, the best. After having some difficulty with the current update, this wonderful developer immediately offered to remedy the situation, which ultimately was my fault to begin with. I cannot speak highly enough about the functioning of this bookmark saver and Tossy himself. I have been using this app for several years and it is hands down one of my very favorite apps. 👏👏👏

Dumped previous bookmark app for this because it's superior in operation, options (backup to SD card!), and especially support. Proprietary BookmarkFolder.datx file is confusing. In-app review update requests triggered by version updates are annoying. No Exit button so have to force close.

I tried to restore from a backup, it just wont restore or import.... UPDATE:: I tried as you said and put "x" at the end of the .dat file and it says implrt failed. It used to have settings xustomized and colors too...nkw it is terrible grey and white and all fonts are same size. Im looking for a new bookmark keeper.

The lastest update is spectacular. The search feature is excellent. Backup very fast. Two years later...still rocking. Great app!

A great way of keeping my personal interests and info out of the goggles of grroogle at all, by saving all my bookmarks off-line in one program irrespective of browser. Have been using this for more than 2 years now, and ALL my favorite bookmarks are now safe and off-line on my cell phone on this app. Thank you to dev.

Useful way to backup bookmarks since firefox has no equivalent way to export bookmarks as can be done on desktop. Quick response to solve my problem of not seeing the way to trash a bookmark. Thank you! After-thought: Not sure it will help much for Firefox bookmarks since they are no longer stored as a text or htm file.

I've been using the pro version ofBookmark Folder "on and off" for a number of years and this is the first time I felt like leaving a review. I think it's a very helpful and intelligent move in that when you are moving bookmarks and folders elsewhere that initially the app shows both where the bookmarks are and where they are being moved to simultaneously.

Been looking for a good bookmark manager for some time now. I really like this one easy to use seems to work as expected. Somewhat customizable, wish it was compatible with windows🧐 Maybe? Soon? I will continue to use it and recommend it to my friends.

It's a great app but the only thing I don't like is every time I add something new to the list have to reset my sorting options.

For me, this is the best bookmark app out there. Clean and easy to use. The developer works above and beyond to find solutions to an issue. I highly recommend this app!

LGG8 running Android 11 For me absolutely no problems no bugs that I can detect and I use this program fairly extensively. We all have to make a living therefore we work. Writing software is this developers job so when he includes ads in the free version to help pay him for his time don't be angry with him. I bought this program after using it only one day because I realized how great it is. 2yrs later still very happy. Please don't change it too much don't let it become bloatware!

Exported an empty list. I had over 100 bookmarks. Didn't work.

I have found this application helpful for documenting evidence of cyber-crimes on the Internet. Photos and Links are easy to obtain and store, without user intervention.

220202: Import HTML is 3 times faster in 3.6.9 vs 5.0.3. 220205: now Import HTML is as fast as in 3.6.9 - great improvement, thank you for the quick improvement. One more suggestion: Make directly available the Delete All button, as in 3.6.9. Also if Delete in 5.0.4 could be instant as in 3.6.9. Great app and fast response from the author. 5- stars app! Highly recommended.

does not give me the option to open links in Chrome; only Opera. I've chosen "select" in the settings but everything opens in Opera
