I am extremely unsatisfied with booksey. As a salon owner I need for booking to run as smoothly as possible. But when it isn't syncing appointments on the calendar my stylists are getting double booked and it's my name on the line. We are actually LOSING clientele because people don't want to have to download an app just to be able to book with us. Not to mention that the cost is way too high for something that other booking sites provide free of charge. I miss Genbook. Bad merge for them.

The app is great and easy to use! My only complaint is the card reader they have takes so long to connect to my phone. It doesn't stay connected so everyday I have to reconnect it and after a few hours it disconnects and have to keep reconnecting it as if it was a new card reader. And when I try to check out through mobile payment it keeps saying "waiting for customer approval." But no idea how to approve it. So far no one has been able to help me fix these issues.

Tremendously helpful app, as a Personal Trainer and Online Fitness Coach I ask my clients to book through this app regularly. +easy functionality +adjustable calendar +easy payment system +sessions tracker -there are other similar services that are free monthly but only charge small interest on client payments through app -the boost feature doesn't really appear to do anything? Never seen any difference. -in my experience only useful for existing clients as no new clients received

Don't install unless you plan to subscribe for $30 a month. I installed this & it wasn't user friendly at all. My appts were off by 2 hrs making me reschedule the only 2 appt made. Now that my trial ended, I can't cancel my acct as the only option is to pay $30 or logout. Terrible!!

For several months I have not been receiving text notifications on the mobile app when my clients book appointments. Support takes several days to respond, and the customer service phone number keeps me on hold for hours with no one ever picking up. When support eventually does respond text, it's the same generated response. Google Support states it the App! Booksy does however get one thing right... Charging my credit card regularly on a timely basis!

I hardly ever write reviews, but Worst Booking System Ever Created! This system is Not user-friendly for both Professionals and for the client version, sends wrong confirmation dates and times, incompetent support, highly used settings are buried or hard to find, unable to set confirmation reminders (only goes out 24 hours advanced, which is bad business practice), and I have received ALOT of customer complaints about the client version app. I would list more but I have a 500 word max to type.

DONT USE!! Have no way of taking payment with square reader through the tablet app, don't seem to work as well together as they say. New shop due to open today and Iv been trying to get help from someone for the last 3 days and not heard from a single person. The reps are more then happy to call you 10 times a day trying sign you up to all sorts of things to make you spend more than your initial subscription but when you try contacting for help, no one to be seen.

At this point I've been trying to contact booksy for 2 days and have sent 8 messages to resolve a client issue only to be ignored. The client claims to have booked an appointment and sent me a screenshot of his receipt but neither of us received a confirmation email. I've gotten no notification. No payment. (2nd review. Same foolishness. They Have you waiting forever... To no resolve or not respond. At this point I'm weighing options for alternatives)

The app have a card reader that hardly ever works. I purchased the card reader to make check out Rash and convenient for clients. It has become more stressful for the checkout since getting the card reader. Do not throw away your money buying the card reader! Just use other apps such as Cashapp, zelle, paypal, venmo.

Absolute headache. I was a very happy Genbook customer for 7 years and since they merged with Booksy it's been a nightmare. Double bookings, missing appointments, major issues with business settings (they don't actually work), delayed reminders. Many of my clients book throughout the year and they cannot see any appointments that were previously scheduled through Genbook - which were supposed to transfer over. It's incredible to me that they're in business.

i love everything booksy is about. i have been using it for years . i like the fact that they are always improving the app. two things tho, 1. the prepayment section i think you should add the option of amount instead of just percentages. thanks. 2. the appt reminder can it be sent 72 hrs as well as 24hrs prior that will be great.

Customer service can take days. It has been 3 days about a customers payment. App has some serious flaws, not user friendly, and only works optimally if your client has the customer version, which is ridiculous. Booking and payment should be a seemless process for you and your clients. Neither of those apply to Booksy app. Appointments dramatically decreased for the month I tried this. Former genbook user who was very happy. Have cancelled and moved to another booking app that is similar to genb

Used to be 4 star. Since the update I have been having issues...I have prepaid set up. Allowing you to cancel an hour b4 your appointment with being charged...well customers was being charged for canceling 2 day b4...I have reached out to customer service multiple times...my issue now is I have a slew of clients being able to book without prepaying for they service how is that possible...Stoll nothing from booksy...I don't even kno who my point of contact is. I think it's Tucker. Still 1 star

I've had my shop for 4 years never had any problems scheduling clients with Genbook until booksy took over . IT'S double and triple booking me . Tried messaging supports messages disappear. They told me my bank account was verified and it wasn't so i didn't get paid gorgeous a week and a half ..Absolutely horrible app and service canceling my service and going with a different app ASAP

Using The Booksy Biz Booking App has been very helpful and exceptionally easy. I'm getting alot more bookings and it gives the clients freedom to book an appointment when they'd like without confusion. I'd recommend this booking app to anyone starting a new business that could use some organization and structure.

For some apparent reason I paid my fee for booksy pro. I contacted customer service but no help there either. I'm not eligible for all my features like I was promised.. Which I have all my screen shots of my purchase and my current pro plan, but none of its working. I can't even click on the support button anymore. It's like they totally disconnected my support button so I can stop contacting them.... At this point with all my proof of purchase, I would like a REFUND.. OR CONTACT ME ASAP.

** Edited to respond to Booksy response. Yes, my name was corrected after nearly 2 weeks of asking, and I was never notified personally just noticed the change one day. Yes, I emailed the email you provided below. Three times. I NEVER received a response. Not after 4 weeks. I asked a simple question yesterday via your chat function at 11:58am and was responded to at 8:11pm! I am still waiting on answers to my other questions. My name issue was far from the only one.** Customer support is non-existent. I've now had Booksy for over four weeks and am just as displeased as I was at the beginning. I was unwillingly switched from Genbook when they were bought out. Some things to know if you have a service business & want online booking: 1. You cannot add your clients to a waitlist. They have to do it themselves and they can't for instance choose Wednesdays from 12-4 or multiple days and times. They have to be specific about a day and time and if it's booked THEN they are prompted to be added to the waitlist. 2. Square does not integrate well. If you require cards on file, they can be stored in booksy, but will not show up in your Square directory. Not sure how secure Booksy is. 3. Most features your client needs are only accessible via the Booksy app. If your clients are human, they most likely do not want to have to download an app. 4. Where did my 300 reviews go? Booksy won't tell me. 5. How can clients cancel their own appointments? I asked Booksy and they won't answer. These are just a few things. Buyer beware.

Within 2 days 10+ MTs are done. Booksy is NOT user friendly nor is their staff. Literally on HOLD for 1 hr. and 45 minutes- nothing accomplished after getting through. Next day over an hour on call to got set up. We get each other's appts., reviews, cancellations so our phones were going off all the time. Could NOT get them to call back. With messaging, they barely addressed one issue out of the four I was struggling with.

Booksy is no Genbook. We lost so many wonderful features for a more difficult interface on the client side as well as the salon side. I've had nothing but complaints from my customers and staff. COME BACK TO ME GENBOOK!!!!!

This booking app is the least user-friendly app I've ever seen. It's hard to manage your booking, change availability, and few options to personalize your experience. I disgusted with the app. I've booked people at 11am and the app changes it to 12:30pm. I marked a whole day off and the unavailability disappeared so now I have people booked that day. I get notifications all day about appointments that aren't for me. There need to be more options on the app and be more organized. I miss Genbook!

@booksybiz is a primitive application, the server is still crashing. my clients have a problem with booking appointments and as a result my business is losing. I don't know how it happened that @genbook was taken over by booksy. Genbook worked reliably. I am going to resign from your services !!! I will be another loss for my business- lose all reviews. I discourage all businesses from using your services

I've been having connections issues for 2 wks. I can't see my schedule clients can't cancel their appointments. Called customer service and was on hold forever. I've un-installed twice and nothing.

Thank You Genbook for this mess, I'm looking into ways to recover all my information off this stupid site. Using Booksy is like being stuck on the side of the road with a broke down car and no phone, you're not going anywhere nor will you get any help. I shouldn't have to use different devices to navigate this system, you need to fix it, you're playing with peoples money and how they make a living, I didn't ask to use BOOKSY nor was I given a choice and I'm here now so fix this stupid app.
