Good application. I like the equalizer in the application and also sound quality. I give 5 star for the app but need much improvement in videoplayer such as next video button, double tap to seek, subtitle and language control, pop up play mode etc...
Ok I'm giving you 5 stars because I absolutelyove this app. I have it on 2 Windows desktops, and laptops, 2 iMacs, 2 Android phones, and 6 iPads. Needless to say I love it. I'm having an issue lately with the version on my Samsung cell phone. When I Bluetooth it to my JBL Extreme 2 and Partybox it doesn't connect well. The sound flickers like static. I tried turning on the compatibility button but that doesn't help at all. I've never had an issue with this app on any device til now. Suggestions?
i am back to this player. something to look into, Radio stations should show the song titel and artist. the player should start with the connection of an bluethooth head set. i have other player with this option. STILL VERY GOOD ABD EASY TO USE
I bought the Boom 3D desktop app and was amazed that I immediately searched for the mobile equivalent of it. While I love this mobile app, the playlist feature is not that robust. There is no option to create an empty playlist and add songs from there. You can't batch select music to add to a playlist. So is removing either. You can't rearrange songs from imported playlists, only those you created via the app. I'm fine using this as my daily music app IF only it had these features.
Really good sound. Love it. I previously paid for the PC version and was hoping it was for more than 1 device. Can you tell me if it is for more than 1? I have just purchased the app for Android because it doesn't seem to have any way to login to my account on Android. Regards.
Do not be fooled ..! All parts of this application are paid and only two parts of it are equalizer and music player, which also send ads after three days. The best applications are available in the Play Store, which are without ads and are completely free. I initially have five stars. I did, but still only this application should be deleted.
Edit: the below issues have been fixed. Back to five stars. Best music player, however I can't upgrade past version 2.3.5. Any version newer than that, after I finish installing, as soon as I open Boom, it tells me to log into my Tidal account, then immediately crashes. After that, every time I try to open Boom it just crashes upon startup. I then have to uninstall, and reinstall the older version 2.3.5. Then I have to reprogram all of my saved internet radio stations, equalizer presets, etc.
Tidal gets logged out every few days. And when I try to log in and it crashes. And then crashes every time I open the app. Only way to fix is to delete the app then install again. Just for it to happen again. I'm not going to keep going through this and fixing my settings every few days. Doesn't happen with Spotify. Only Tidal. Also doesn't happen on the iOS app.
I appreciate the 3D Surround experience and the customizable EQ with a graphic effect in this app. But I have some concerns which are constantly disturbing me to enjoy this app. 1. The app closes the moment the phone screen sleeps. Really annoying. 2. To add songs to a playlist why not have a select tab to select whatever songs/folder to be added / deleted from the playlist tan go one by one. 3. There is no cross fade to enjoy back to back play. I am on full subs. Other apps work in sleep mode.
This app has changed my music listening experience forever. It has been cemented into my phone and will never leave. It amplifies and enhances music to godly or even Holy level. Their preset genre setting are well made and each one can be customized. What's even better is that the premium edition is a mere 7 bucks a year. No ads, 3d audio, everything you could want. This app will make your ears ring and you'll recoil in awe of how amazing songs will sound. Instructions: Download ASAP
Finally got what I was expecting. I love the effect it has on audio BUT one thing reserves me from giving it a perfect score. The drop down bar SHOULD have an option of keeping it on top of all notif or at the very bottom. It is a bother to keep scrolling for it and it is placed randomly depending on the messages you have pending on your phone.
I mainly use Boom in my car via bluetooth. I just wish my S21 Ultra had a 3.5mm output. A hardwired connection always produces better sound than over bluetooth. If I had to give two suggestions, it would be to make the 3D sound feature variable. As it stands, your only choices are ON or OFF. For some genres of music, the 3D parameter is too spacial. Also, the max preamp level could use about a 15% increase. Still a good though.
Unusable due to constant interrupts. Before paying for this app, test it to see if it just stops playing within seconds to minutes after hitting play. I spend most of my time pulling my phone from the holster to hit play just to have it stop again a minute or so later. Went back to my other audio player and have chalked this up to a waste of $20.
I can't edit my old review so just posting a new one. All of my library is in mp3 format, all of it purchased from digital stores. All of it stored on my note 20 ultra memory. I have 1000 songs. The vast, vast majority of them do not play and the app just skips over them until it finds a song that it can play. Also own boom 3D on Windows and mac, having issues with Windows activation, the company has ignored my last 2 emails. I really like the software but it only works on mac. Avoid on android
Unbelievable music player, the best. But lost my lifetime subscription do to factory reset and had to get new Gmail to get back in. It still has my name in the Gmail, hope they see this and restore my subscription. I'm poor can't afford to pay again but it still has my music on it , any help I would really appreciate it. I really love this app, magic!!
I've used this app on mobile and my desktop for about 3.5 years. It gets my music loud as hell, nothing else close to it.
The boom system FX seems to turn off by it's self while using other apps. The app UI isnt very intuitive. Also apparently it's supposed to pickup your songs on ur phone or something and you can play them within the app. I don't really see the point of that feature maybe it's nice with Spotify. I use Apple music because of that this feature seems pointless. The equlizer is doing it's job pretty well. I'll put 3 stars because I believe i havent seen all the features of the app.
I own both the desktop version and now this one. What I'm mad I about is the inability to add car mode or for car speakers. If can be had for over the ear, it should be offered as well to car speakers or external on the app too. Not just the one. Just sayin is all, be nice to see! Very nice too see! The Mac version desktop gets 5 stars, this one gets 2. Srry, but two. All versions ought have the option in opinion.
Amazing software with tangible result on sound quality and experience but I have a complain for the developers! Please add Amazon music to the player software too as I saw Spotify and Tidal are already available but Amazon music that has a very big number of users is not among them and it is such a big shame :). By the way I am using Boom3d software on both windows PC and android and am very satisfied with the money I paid but please consider your users suggestions ASAP. thank you.
