BootManager

With this app modul you could prevent selected apps of running on system startup. Only apps with the permission BOOT_COMPLETED are shown in the list. System apps are marked with an exclamation mark.To restrict system apps you have to donate.
IMPORTANTYour device has to be rooted to install the required X-posed framework: http://tinyurl.com/cd46qco

Description for non-developers:Each app with permission "android.permission.RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED" is placed in a (Windows slang) "startup folder". For my 200 installed apps that are about 33%. On system boot every of these apps gets started. Possible options:
- app shows a notification
- app starts a (hidden) service in background
- app exits again (eg user has set an option)If you disable an app in the BootManager it does not get that event and is not started at *next system boot*.

ReceiverStopAn app still starts at system boot? Android has many other events which could start an app!Example: Skype has the permission "android.permission.MOUNT_UNMOUNT_FILESYSTEMS". This means, (again Windows slang) if you insert a DVD into you drive, "autorun" is executed and starts Skype.Note: As your sd-card is mostly always inserted, this could be used to start apps at system boot....

Other triggers are: A BlueTooth device (dis-)connect, connection type changes (2g/3g/wlan) or power adapter is (un-)plugged.All these could be restriced with my other app "ReceiverStop". Be carefull and do not disable the wrong.

The app description clearly says you need to be rooted and have xposed installed, yet people rate it 1 star because... you need to be rooted and have xposed installed. Sick of noobs rating down because they know nothing and won't even bother reading the descriptions. I am not using this now on Oreo, but it worked wonders on my previous Android versions, so five stars.

dev should disclose that it was not updated to work in Pie which can only use Magisk version of Xposed framework which his app failed to recognize. I understand if he can't get to the updates but tell us upfront that this app is not for Pie so we don't waste time dl-ing& installing other apps that are incompatible.

redundant but if you don't know what xposed or root is you have no business downloading this app. it works if you have su and xposed framework (not xda as someone previous said. unrelated. not even close to being synonymous)

I wish I could write this higher, but the app tells me that Xposed framework is not installed when I have just installed the latest version, enabled this app, and rebooted properly.

on startup asks me to go to another ( non-play store) site to download another program to run with it. Does not search startup files, just blocks apps. deleted this app.

Doesn't work. You have to download crucial files from a forum which there is no link to or any info as to whether these crucial files are from a trusted source. Google Play needs to get its act together and weed out these kinds of apps. Rating should be No Star!

Five-Star app, but I am giving only one star, because it doesn't work with Oreo.. Can the developer please take note and if possible, update the app to work with latest versions of Android ?

Lin. S. Aug 9, 2019

Can't really rate the app because it requires ANOTHER app (XDA framework) to use. Downloaded xda framework but BootManager just kept demanding the download. Uninstalling.

Not working. Only showed a few of my running apps, and didn't successfully stop any of the ones I selected from starting up.

Does what it says only down side is that it needs xposed and Magisk doesn't have an alternative but that's besides the point. Well done fellas.
