Doesn't run on the latest Android build, Needs to be updated. Having the playback ability like with the desktop client should be included
Caveat Emptor Bosch sold this product with the slogan 'future proof' Since that time Bosch have failed to update their app software so users can use the app. Their advice; use a sub-standard view only third party app or use an old phone with an old software. The most annoying thing is that Bosch continue to Market and Sell these out of date devices. A real disappointment, not what was expected from a so called reputable German company SHAME ON YOU BOSCH NEVER WILL I BUY BOSCH AGAIN
With latest Android update on Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The Bosch Dvr unable to switch channel to another cam.
Bosch needs too up there game with a newer version for the dvr 600 series seriously about too replace my dvr with a hikvision and completely bin the bosch equipment it's useless
Was useful once upon a time.....now its just incompatible with android 9 and 10
I have a series 400 dvr and I'm using a Samsung A50 phone. It doesn't seem to work at all???
Anyone who has problems, remember to ensure username and password are correct (case sensitive). Also, if you have issues getting pictures, i would check that you have a decent upload speed, else adjust bandwidth setting in dvr network settings to assist. Dont forget to have the latest firmware also.
All functions work properly, it scales well on my tab, only problem being that the video is in slow-motion, I'd say 2 to 4 times slower than normal, what you see already happened.... Happening both on samsung p6810 and i9300.
I tried to enter my site info and it will just exit out of the program. It used to work a few months ago
What is with "Please verify User name and password" Absolutely garbage app. I'm using IP CAM VIEWER to view my bosch camera's directly because this appp is USELESS when trying to connect to the Divar IP 3000.
Was serviceable on my HTC 1 but since I got a Galaxy S5 I can't even get to the sign in screen. Really need to be able to see the cameras at the restaurant I manage. Tried everything I could think of and still nothing
Used this on iphone worked great, must not be compatible with Samsung 5.
Simply does not work on Android. Totally useless. Unbelievable that this app does not work on the majority of phones worldwide. Should be dumped totally by Bosch.
Upgraded phone and dvr didn't transfer now I can't add one cause there is no menu key
Used to work OK but on my new Samsung S6 phone cannot see the menu to add new DVR. Frustrating. Will need to look for another app to do the job.
The most useless app ever. Playback locks up all the time, and freezes when using mobile data. Even the cheap 4 channel dvr I owned before this one had a better app than this.... I expected better than this from bosch.
Same problem I have. We use two DVR and I can log into one and the other will give bad password error. It will change depending on which one I log into first.
I am having password issues as well using the software to access my dvr. I've checked everything over and over and it just doesn't work. very frustrating.
Not a good app. Have to catch up a lot to be in par with small players!!menu itself not appearing in Samsung s7.
Outside of my LAN gives me password errors. Connection has to be picture perfect to get even 1 image. Can only view over my VPN when away. Overall performance lacking.
Try holding the recent apps button to bring up the menu. I have an Galaxy S5 and thought the app didn't work at first.
Will not work with Samsung 5. Contacted Bosch, they said was working right. Ask for call back with more info, never happened. Bought 2 16 camera DVRS because of name, I expected more from Bosch
No menu button visible to make a new connection to my DVR. Works okay only Android 4.0 tablet if I have a solid WiFi connection
I have been able to actually view off of my dvr for about 5 mins total the rest of the time the app glitches out and tells me to verify username and password how is this a useful app if it never works additionally I am either on strong 4g lte or strong wifi please fix so that there is a working functioning app that can be useable seems many want to use the app but run into the same thing horrible for such a name that is usually recognized as a good brand get the hint bosch fix the problems
Unable to add servers on my Samsung s7 Edge because the tool bar where the "add button" is does not display on my phone.
Since the deprecation of menu support in Android 10, you can't get to the menu button to add new devices, etc. How about fixing this? There are still a lot of DVR 440/480 installations out there and people who are left behind are not very likely to upgrade to later Bosch products, if you get what I mean!
