Pretty useless. Can't schedule recirculation or set up vacation with the app. No cloud/remote control so I can change things outside of the house. They only function it has is the ability to change how hot the heater heats up the water to. Do people change that that often?
Can't connect at all. New Bosch tankless hot water says it's connected to my wifi but the app says password is incorrect or problem with connection. Tried several times. I scanned QR code and tried manually entering it.
App won't run on Samsung S8 with latest Android version. Very disappointing given there was an update to the app only a month ago and they haven't fixed issues with it not launching.
It takes me between 4 to 12 tries to connect to the water heater every time while I'm literally right next to the water heater.... Come on guys I think we have the technology to make this better.... Unless this is yet another app that doesn't play nice with Android 10
Absolutely pathetic, has never worked from the start, app keeps stopping, terrible customer service from the maker of this app, wouldn't waste my worst enemy's time on down loading this app. Even 1 star is too good for this rubbish
All Bosch Instant Hot Water should come with the WiFi/Bluetooth compatibility as standard. I was disappointed that the unit I recently bought didn't have it as the app couldn't find the signal
It used to work in the previous form but the upgrade stored that. Won't open more than 3 seconds then closes. Android 9. New Zealand
Bloody hopeless. Only connects when it wants to. I hope the water heater performs better than the app!! 😡🤬
Cannot connect with WiFi. Unable to use it and the system constantly doesn't ignite so unable to problem solve with the app. Waste of time.
My best hot water heater is easily controlled with this app. Nothing needs improving, thanks for the app. I'm running Android 11 latest update and the app works fine.
the app lets me controll my hot water temp, the bath and shower are now allways perfect temperatures. the app is easy to use and nicely displayed
Can't connect with Pixel 3 phone. Called Bosch. Its a known issue. Works with iPhone apparently. Wooo. Very lame
Can't connect unless phone is on the boiler. More than 1m away or inside the house. No connection so pretty pointless.
App doesn't easily connect with the HWS. App is useless. Bosch please do something for this app.
No stars. Horrible app. Must use "change connection" every time before trying to login, otherwise no dice. Then once working, units of gas consumption is in gallons per minute. Mine typically shows it firing at around 6gpm. Using propane at 92,000 btu per gallon, this equates to 92,000x60min, or 5.5 million btus per hour. Pretty impossible if unit capacity is 199,000 btus. Even 6 gal per hr wouldn't be correct so how can this thing tune its combustion properly is my biggest question.

Does not allow you to set and edit schedules for recirculation. This is pretty much the main reason why I bought the wifi module - to make our lives easier by having remote access. It allows me to see some stats but that isn't really a convenience factor. In fact, the stats should have been accessible via the control panel on the unit itself. Who is the product manager that designed this? Super disappointed but if the ability to schedule recirculation times becomes available, I'll rate 5 stars.
