Doesn't work with the Bose hearing aids. This isn't surprising since after 10 or so years of updating the headphones app it still never reliably works, it disconnects and forgets the headphones, doesn't play well with any other Bluetooth devices and the hearing aids app is basically the same. Either this technology is inherently impossible to apply or the engineers at Bose are super incompetent after a decade of trying.

So many things wrong with this app. Since the latest update, I can no longer disconnect my Bose Hearphones from the app. When I try to disconnect, it immediately reconnects. It answers incoming phone calls automatically, even before the phone has finished announcing who the call is from. This is crazy. I used to be able to control when I answered, and more important, if I answered at all or declined the call.

Just received my hearing aids... The app works great. I was hoping for more volume... It did help when I changed to closed buds. They are very clear, but I have volume all the way up and wish they were louder. I was disappointed in the app EQ. You can only choose treble or bass, and when you do, you give up the other. I've had other hearing apps that let you choose a 5 place EQ setting. I hope they upgrade to that soon.

I'm disappointed that customization of sound is just adjusting volume and having one scale that slides between treble and bass. Little noises are louder but the voices I want to hear aren't. Also, my phone disconnects from the hearing aids every time I try to use the app. The only thing it suggests is taking the battery out and putting it back in. I've found restarting my phone also works and is easier but still not acceptable and pretty frustrating for trying to get the hearing aids adjusted.

The app frequently has trouble connecting with the hearing aids which makes it almost impossible to make changes to the settings on the fly to match my needs. I'm very frustrated so far. The only way I've been able to make the app work with my hearing aids is to remove the hearings aids from my war, open the battery door, shut them, and relaunch the app. Very time consuming when I should be able to launch the app and make adjustments easily. It detracts from my dining and my friends and family.

Got the hearphones for my 88 year old dad. He said he can hear better with them than his hearing aids, so thumbs up for them. But the app is a total pain. On my LG Stylo 4 with Android 9.x it keeps indicating it is disconnected and trying to re-connect. Just keeps saying it is searching for the headset and to reconnect. The phone hasn't moved more than 3 feet. Seems to happen most often when I switch to another app. Luckily, the headphone settings remain where they last were until the re-connection works. The app is NOT intuitive for the age of person who would benefit the most. Need to switch to a simple bar slider for volume and tone and not the rotating dimensional dial. Need to enlarge the microscopic mute button. Need to show a static indicator of whether the earphones are in or not because it causes the screen to jump around as it comes in and out. There is PLENTY of screen real estate to accomplish this. I will never understand why these companies don't test these interfaces with their own grandparents. KISS priority.

The Hearphones are AWESOME, walking on a busy street all cars sound like ther are electric, whisper quiet and now I can hear my Audible books when riding noisy buses! On the negative side: the active point on the power button is very hard to find and the app needs some serious work! I would give it 5 stars if it didn't constantly disappear, then present an "Ooops, Something happened and your device was disconnected?" (for not apparent reason) or "headphone not detected' accompanied by a list of "Connection tips" that never help! Instead users are forced to waste time screwing around until a new connection gets established which makes it a hassle to switch "Modes" on the fly!. . When I am shopping and I pull the earbuds from my ears the Hearphone simply shuts down (again, for no apparent reason) and I have to turn it back on when I leave the store and reopen the app. This $500.00 Hearphone DESERVES A MORE STABLE APP!

Not consistent! When the app works it's great easy to use and adjust the settings I want. So much easier than using the buttons to adjust settings. Have only had these a few days and they really do help with my hearing. This app doesn't seem stable at all. Have had to uninstall and install several times and still doesn't connect to the headset even though I'm connected to my phone. I'm using this app on my Note 8. Hopefully the Dev can get this fixed soon.

Great app for Bose Hearphones, but there is still a little room for improvement: The app frequently loses contact with the ear phones (this is easily reestablished by closing and reopening the app, but it's still inconvenient). The L/R balance doesn't work when using Bluetooth audio (music or phone calls). So far I love my Hearphones and like the app. Thanks Bose! I hope both the app and device firmware continue to be supported and improved.

Hearphones are incredible. App needs attention. While not buggy, there are some weird decisions. Why is the widget so needlessy huge? Couldn't they use modern android notifications to let you twiddle settings outside of the app? Ultimately, it doesn't really matter, since you can set everything but tone on the hearyphones themselves, which is far more convenient than any app could ever be. And the hearphones are fabulous.

I'm about 3 months into using the Bose hearing aids and app. ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE HEARING AIDS! Great value for the price. Kudos to Bose for creating the product and disrupting this broken, disfunctional, duopolistic Industry. As for the app, the Bluetooth connectivity gets better with each update. I have found that turning Bluetooth off and on fixes the connection; much preferable to opening and closing the battery compartment to restart each hearing aid.

So far I'm impressed. Best aids I've had so far and yes, better than my first 3000.00 pair. This app that goes with it makes them much more user friendly. I can adjust them to my hearing loss and preferences without having to take the time to go in to an audiologist and try to explain how they need adjusted. Wait to go Bose!

The ability of the app seems limited. You can adjust right and left sides, to a point. You can adjust for only front hearing, side, all around. You cannot adjust for loud sounds in general. Bangs, and rattles and screeches will come in hot. You cam adjust outer hearing vs inner. This is the best modifier. Most of the time 95% of time. App works. About 5% is just restart. I could not trade from android to Apple, but android phone to other android phone was successful.

I bought these today after two in store demonstrations and I can't get any volume at all out of it to even hear what I normally would. I was very impressed in store first time because they were playing music loud on the sound system and I was able to hear someone 20 feet away on the phone. I am deaf in my right ear but everything I try no volume. I have the phone turned all the way up and the sound from the app or on the headset and can barely hear at all. I was really looking foward to them

Quick way to hear in crowded environments (restaurants, shopping, parties, etc.). Have hearphones in ears, open app on phone, adjust then...hear! Example- at business dinner recently. 10 people at rectangular table. I adjusted hearphones to reduce background noise and heard most of everyone's conversation. After dinner, my business partner said, "I couldn't hear a thing." They work!

Bose Hearphones allow you to better hear conversations in a noisy environment. They amplify the sound in front of you, and cancel the sound behind you. Hearing aides cannot do this. The Bose Hearphones also let you take a phone call and hear while cancelling background noise. If you have any hearing loss and still need to function, these are great.

This app could certainly use some frequency setting abilities. Also, it would be great if they would add a tinnitus anti generator! And if you can connect to my phone through Bluetooth, there is no reason you cannot stream the audio from my phone calls. Come on guys get it together!!

Every other day or so, the hearing aids won't connect to the app. The only fix is to restart my phone. The hearing aids still work, but the sound cannot be adjusted without them connecting. I've had these for a few weeks now. The hearing aids are better than having nothing, but the app is a bit frustrating.

The app is okay and functions decently with the Bose SoundControl Hearing Aids. I do wish that I could adjust each ear separately as opposed to just a balance control, and have more fine tuning through equalization instead of the degrees of treble or bass that is offered through the app. Maybe that is something that will be offered in a future app update. I also find that if I have been wearing the hearing aids for a period of time and want to open the app to adjust, I have to turn the bluetooth on my phone off and back on to connect, they will not automatically reconnect to my phone otherwise. Would also like to be able to have bluetooth audio with them, but that is probably something that is not possible, so that's okay.

Since I downloaded this app, I have not been able to access the users manual at all. the application will simply not allow me to do so. as far as adjusting sound of the outside world and volume a music it does an excellent job. now if I could just simply use the user's manual!

I had high hopes the Hearphones. Awesome to hear our grandkids, pastor, and nature again! Noise cancelling is better than my full-sized Bose NCs. Can't hear my tractor at all! Functionality of app is great. It would be much better if it didn't keep disconnecting. The app says it is connected and you can control the Hearphones for a while, then you get an error message. Meanwhile, the Bluetooth panel says "connected". When you try to reconnect, no luck. The only way to reestablish connection is to remove the app and reinstall it. I reached out to Bose for help. They immediately emailed suggested procedures to resolve the issues. I tried them all to no avail. I'm now getting intermittent sound on left channel. Also have intermittent feedback on left side (Only in 360° setting). The power switch is a challenge to operate. Probably going to return to BestBuy, but I'll contact Bose once more. 1 year old Moto Z. Update: just spoke with supervisor Peter at Bose tech support. Super friendly, very professional and patient. Said issue would most likely require product replacement. Volunteered that Bose will resolve the issue for me if BestBuy can't. Awesome, Bose!!

Amazing. I don't like things in my ears, and I was told it would take weeks to adjust. After 2 hours I was barely aware that they were there, except now I can hear the lyrics in the songs. So happy I can adjust treble and bass On The World. And a pair of Bose are 1/4 less in cost than 1 earpiece the doctor wanted to sell me. So excited I will be able to go to work and hear my customers.

Easy setup, took some time to find the ear pieces I had to use two different plugs right ear is better than the left. App is great,a little bit of a learning curve. Best, most comfortable I've ever had. 5 years plus using aids.

Extremely buggy My hearphones started playing music much quieter on some devices as opposed to others, so I tried to unpair them. Now when I try to repair, I cannot connect to any device. My hearphones are essentially useless and I can't reset them through the app. Very disappointing, the hassle is completely unworth the price tag.

Love the hearing aids! App works well after connection. 2 stars for the app itself. Lots of connection issues. Never connects the first time. Connects about 20 percent of the time. Update... After a software update the app connects much quicker and more consistent! Thank you Bose!

Slow to start had to buy a new tablet to ac ess the app, now enjoying setting up the modes. Chopin and Wagner both sound better with my new "music" mode. How to navigate and save within the app could be easier. Haven't Seen any ads and don't want to.
