I love my buds, they help me sleep with constant tinnitus (after a car driver knocked me off my bike last year). However, the app is terrible. It usually fails to connect 1st time and needs a second prompt. It has always done this (bought the buds months ago). This morning, the alarm failed to sound (I have it set to "every day" and I know it failed because I was, luckily, already awake before my alarm time). I expect better from the Bose brand. This app is ruining my experience.

The app has a very simple purpose and it mostly does it, but is disappointingly glitchy. Annoying notification icons that won't go away when not in use. Needing to put the sleepbuds back in the case one or more times to get the app to see them is really annoying when one is just trying to go to sleep. App also sometimes fails to realize the buds are back in the case after alarm is active - ANOTHER annoying stuck notification. Ugh.

The buds themselves are OK, but the app is terrible. It's slow, glitchy, and regularly has connection issues. Tired of poor software for nice hardware, it's becoming the norm. I also feel the sound selection is mediocre, some are very synthetic and off-putting and a lot of them are basically the same noise just named differently. For such an expensive single purpose product Bose really needed to bring the software here and they clearly farmed it out to the lowest bidder. Using a Galaxy Fold 3.

I absolutely love the Bose Sleep buds. They have absolutely allowed for me a much better sleep. I highly recommend. One issue is there is very limited space to store sleep sounds. I am constantly having to delete and install new ones to try out different sleep sounds. My main issue is with the app. The app can be a little wonky and sometimes I have to put my sleep buds back into the holder to get them to reconnect to my phone. Also I always have to force stop the app to get it to shut down.

Looks good, feels good, however. Using the phone free mode, if you set it to play all night and want to cancel it, you can't. Even putting the buds back in their case will not deactivate it. Very stupid. Otherwise not a bad product but can't play any other music, sleep songs through the app, only Bose Sleep music. Even after uninstalling the Bose app, the ear buds are still playing, nothing will cancel them out.

Wow.. this app is so glitchy. It's like they made a Beta version and decided good enough and charged you $200+ for it. App constantly glitches, and can only control volume in App. No way to view or reorganize your sounds or create Playlist options. The connection is slow and seems archaic. Few sound options and half of them sound the same. And that's only half of it. This was a huge miss by BOSE. Only good thing is the shape of the buds themselves, this could have been so great. Truly a shame.

This device has only gotten worse over time and needs major updates for new devices. The alarm frequently does not go off now that I'm using a Pixel 6 Pro, typically I have to set the headphones on my phone to get them to connect before putting them in my ears, and audio nearly always starts in one ear only, and has to be stopped and restarted to play in both. These used to be a major sleep aid for me, but now I cannot trust them to wake me up consistently.

The headphones are excellent. And short of some funny connectivity issues now and again they work like a charm. But the app is often seriously difficult to use. Changing between tabs frequently takes an age. And buttons often just fail to work on the first time altogether.

I really wanted to love these but being a side sleeper, they badly hurt my ears. I gave them a good 45 day trial and I ended up with multiple sores in my ears. Why isn't there a preview option on the sounds? Why must the user download and install before you can hear the sound? The library limit is pretty small. A lot of the sounds, you can hear a break in the loop, which is annoying. I didn't have any connection issues, however I did have issues getting the app to shut down in the am.

You have no option to close the app once opened. It stays active all day. The sounds have a very (very!) short loop (8-15 seconds). You can easily discover the loop. And after that, this is all you hear. The sounds should have a minimum of 5min.

I'm not sure what has gone wrong with this app but I now have to keep re-adding my sleep buds as the app can't find them or stays disconnected. It also struggles to disconnect the alarm and even if I try click on product support in the app, it goes to a link that doesn't exist. The feedback link is also broken. Very frustrating 😕

When it works as it's supposed to, it's an incredible app and product. However, that's only the case about 20% of the time. The other 80% is a frustrating mix of connectivity issues, charging failures, the alarm sound only going off once and then immediately cutting out or only going off in one sleepbud, among others. On top of which, the sound library is shockingly limited - I'd love to see at least some binaural beats added. All in all, it feels like a product still in the prototype phase.

The app is pretty good, sound selection is nice and the product is great. One thing I really want to see on there that does not currently exist is an option to turn the app off. At the moment when I turn off my buds the app stays on and leaves a notice in my system tray that the buds aren't connected. Shouldn't be too hard to implement a "I'm awake, power down" option

Nice app. Easy to use. One thing, wish there were more sounds. There are a few sounds but depending on what you find soothing, there may not be much for you to chose from. That's the problem I am having. I find that I have very few to chose from so I play the same ones over and over and it gets tired quickly. Alot of them sound computer generated which doesn't sound good when trying to relax. More sounds please!!!

The UI of the app is beautiful and seamless, with little to no learning curve. Personally I'm happy with the sound library selection since I only cycle between two of the choices. There's just one thing that really bugs me about this app... When you're awake (ie. not using the buds), the app keeps sending push notifications about how it's trying to connect and can't find the buds, even when the app is closed. Would be great if users could disable and enable this feature.

Since the recent update the app just crashes... The app is very basic at the moment, and I look forward to any updates soon. I would like to see the following features. It would be great if you could fade in the alarm. It would be great if you could split the volume to left and right for those that have uneven hearing. I would like to see the option to fade out the sound over a custom period of time. I would also like to see tinnitus masking options like white noise.

Some basic things don't even work. The hardware is beautiful, and as plugs they work great. The software is terrible though. This product doesn't do much, and at this price point, I'd expect it to do it very well. That's not the case. Snooze sound either doesn't ring after snoozing the first time, or never turns off at all. It has different bugs whether snoozing from locked, unlocked or with the app open. In dark mode, it flashes a big white screen, which kinda wakes me up and bothers my wife.

App crashes all the time, my alarm turns itself off after less than a second (I have been awake for this, so I know I'm not just sleeping through it). It takes between 3 and 8 tries to get the app to find the earbuds without crashing. Such a frustrating experience to have just before sleeping every night. The product this app supports is also rife with finicky charging issues. When this works, though, they're great.

The app is very simple in design. I appreciate the manual and troubleshooting in the app itself. I also enjoy the alarm system, albeit a little flawed. Some of the sounds are nice. The biggest downside is the lack of creativity and customization. You have predefined sounds that you can't mix and match at all. So there is no way to have a preferred combination. TBH there are a lot better sleep apps out there.

New app update, ugh. Instead of being able to stop the sound quickly, you have to click on an icon to get access. To get to the alarm times, we'll that's another click on a small icon. No quick access features. You used to be able to stop the sound at the bottom section of the app. Like the product, hope they work on easier access to the features. Dimming of screen, then to black, while utilizing the buds, would be nice.

Overall the app is pretty good. Although, it could use some improvements. Needs more variety of sleep sounds available. Selections are very limited. Would be nice if it allowed me to use my own sounds from Amazon music as well. Earbuds sometimes disconnect overnight without reason. Other than that I am still testing out the product and hopefully Bose will add more options in the future.

I've been using this app with Sleepbuds II. The app does everything Bose advertised. I can already tell a huge difference in my sleep quality, but it's still easy to wake up and hear external sounds that I need. Suggestions for improvements: It would be very beneficial if we could add our own audio to help, even if it wasn't up to Bose sound standards. Even a sound mixer could make a huge difference to help overlap different combinations of sound. Lock screen controls would also be helpful.

It works okay but it's slow to use. It doesn't have a lot of features, which is okay but I expected more from Bose. The app is slow to connect and slow to display any sounds available. Update from 3 to 2 stars: the app is just worse. It's even slower, doesn't connect half the time and struggles to find a library of sounds. Bose, you need to fix your app. It's horrible.

I've used sleepbuds and the app for four days. 2 Out of 4 times the app didn't find my right earbuds although it was fully charged and placed right next to my phone. I had to place it back to the charger and close the lid, then take it again to force the app to recognize it. I like many types of sounds to choose from. The app is easy to navigate and intuitive.
