It is better this month. December and January were crazy. You want to send $10, but the app will bring out $2.5 of data only. You try for hours to manipulate it, only airtel can occasionally work but other providers never. You call customer service, they will not answer, you tried to chat with system that said 24/7, no reply. AH! It was highly frustrating. Thank God. It seems better this month.
So far, so good. Made a local call followed by an international call to the UK, in both instances call quality was excellent and considerably better than Skype or other mainstream VoIP to landline calling services. Another plus was the ease at which you can add credit to your account.
For some reason, the app suddenly stopped working and said contact customer care. I've used this app for four years, it worked well, but now it doesn't work anymore. Customer care says it's my problem 🤷♂️ That I should delete the app and reinstall. After doing that twice, he said he can't help me, that I should try using the website. Hmm!
The new update broken search function. You can't search contacts numbers as you could do before the update. You type on the search field nothing happens for over three minutes. Only solution go to contacts on the apps, screw allway down until you find your contact to dial the number.
Bad system. Bought credit to call, but where the credit when I don't know. Called customer service but the lady kept arguing. This service is pre-pay not post pay. If I purchased credit to call, that credit should be placed on my account. But that stubborn lady told me that the credit went towards call I made yesterday. When I have to buy credit BEFORE CALLING!!! The system is pre-pay not post pay. GUYS MOVE TO REBTEL!!!!!!!!
You peoples need to understand what privacy means, how can another person get information about all the transaction make to another person.. anybody can get the numbers of peoples that send you data or recharge your phone..this is totally disguising I swear, I couldn't believe it until it's screenshot and sent to me..You people need to go and learn what privacy means 😠😠😠
I just tried to make a few calls from my contacts. They were closed but there was no way to record a message left. Does a person need to answer to record conversation. How & where is the record key. I just uninstalled an app for this reason. I was hoping that yours would work. Any directions you can provide would be good. Thank You.
First hand negative experience, I made payment with my regular debit card, which says an error somewhere to use another card, went back to check my account guess what the money had gone through to BOSS Revolution. I await the sum to be credited to my account, once I'm done as in finish my credit I will definitely delete this APP. Bad experience!
I have been using this app for more than 4 years but starting from last week suddenly stopped working and my account/app keeps saying verify your account and when I verify it doesn't work, as a result I gave a call to customer services almost 10 times and all agents have informed me that my account is reactivated, but still not working.
I installed this app so that I could speak with my mother in Pakistan. She does not have a smart phone due to her age, so I topped up with credit. Every time I've tried to call my mother, I get a response saying that the dialled number is switched off, when it's not. Got my sister to call my mother and long behold, she connected fine using her phone. Quite clearly there is a issue with this app and it's services.
I liked BR and had a good experience until about 2 yrs ago when I was charged for a 37min call that didn't go through. I called and spoke to an agent who said I should have ended the call when no one answered because they still charge even if the call is not answered as long as it keeps ringing. The person I was calling also didn't have a voicemail. I decided to stop using BR. I wasn't ready to have money deducted for ringing only when call doesn't go through because it wasn't like that before. I gave BR 2 stars for this. I got a prompt response from BR to the review I wrote that directed me to who to email. I sent an email with evidence from my app and I got a call same day from BR. They explained why that happened and refunded my money. To BR customers and potential customers reading this review, note that BR is a great app but from their clarification, there is a situation with the Telcos that is still being worked on. When you place a call and the person on the other side doesn't answer, you will have to end the call after some rings with no response (and not continue letting it ring) and try again otherwise you may get charged (by the Telco not BR). The Telcos assume there is a connection in that case and start charging you so to avoid that, you have to end the call after some rings if there is no response. I am revising my review now to 5 stars. Enjoy the app with this in mind while that aspect is resolved with the Telcos.
Good for calling, but I tried the link in the app to send money but unsuccessful. Called customer service and I was told to reinstall the app because I was using an outdated one, it shows that it is fully updated. But I found that there is another boss revolution app for sending money, so do I have to have the two apps even though the calling app has an option to send money?
I downloaded the app and purchase a plan. I it is only allowing me to send credit back home but I can't make a call everytime i tried it shows that its calling then it hang up.
This app is excellent. I love it. My family is in Haiti. I already used many calling apps, I was never satisfied. I never used one like this. This app is an universal apps. Call, music, vidéo, movies and more. Second, this app is very beautiful, the interface is fantastic, easy to used wow. Now, I keep only this one to call my family and enjoy my self. Thank you very much for the best app. I recommend everyone to download it and use it.
So far so good. If you could lower calling rates it could be awesome as we make the world narrower with communication
Bad very bad. They send me a message for free call plan to my contry valable 24hours by paying $10. I already had $9 in my account. After applying for this plan...problem. Any call pass. I am not able to call....when I dial a operator say: you have 14 and....left in you plan. Thank you for using boss.....And the call end with big bip bip...They took my money and know, I am not able to make a call....Bad
Always good anytime i used Boss revolution sometimes due to network failure, but within 5second i always get my call.
I was at first excited when this app was recommended to me by a friend. And just about after 2 months of using it my excitement grew. Only for to find out that I could no longer make purchase to make calls. The furious part is that I called the customer service and no one even has the decency to tell me why my account is under restriction, at least I deserve to know what went wrong. Anyways please any recommendations for a replacement,I will really appreciate it.I am really disappointed.
Easy access to international call but I don't like the additional step of going through the app. Again people always tell me that they see local number each time I call. Whose number is that? I definitely know I don't have Nigerian local number.
It was a very good app until the latest update. The latest update has been the case of messing with what works perfectly and the UI and dev team trying to justify their salaries. The new UI is a mess and very slow. Specially the contacts list and search. Some contacts missing when they are there. The icons confusing. What's the left most icon for? Made the tap areas smaller. They should fire the product team.
Boss Revolution helps with my international phone expenses .it's a pleasure using their apps. If you dont have the apps go and try it.
I didn't have a single problem with Boss Revolution ever since I started using it. Thank you for creating and owning this best app. The price is not expensive; network is not a problem at all. Thanks for the good work!!
This app is a fraud, it literally charged my credit card $33 and took all credit Balance that was on my account, and when I called to get help they telling me I made a phone call which cost all that money, to more surprise the person I talked to told me I made a phone call at 12:17 pm[which never happened]and my money was taken from my credit card between 2pm and 4pm, and thank God I received a message from the fraud center and I blocked my card immediately.
The worst customer service experience I have ever had, I spoke with one of their staff she said her name is Elizabeth she put me on hold for 33mins no response of any kind I was shocked. I had to disconnect to call back but that was the end. I immediately deleted my card detail from their platform and downloaded alternative app, once I exhaust my £9 in my account, I will uninstall the app. Elizabeth could not have done what she did without an approval from her Line manager or in adequate trainin
Never had an issue. Cheap calls to Germany. Sometimes a call is not clear, I hang up and call again. I have the same issue with a regular call with cell phone.
I have been using this app for about 4 years or more I believe and it's been great so far. I have no complaints 🙌🏼 I call the states and Grenada mostly. I called Jamaica a few times.
I love this app, i can talk with my family for long time with no interruptions, the rate per minute is very low and i can call several times with a few bucks.
Hi do you experienced when u making international call there is a music that realase then 40 cent or more is gonna in a minute this app it used be a good but know am experienced something I didn't like it like when I want make call I just it's not going through am hearing advertising and 60 cent or 2 dollars gonne wow very very disappointed
I have used this app for many years, but I don't know what they were trying to update or what bug they were trying to fix, now it has become extremely hard to recharge internally; and worse, the app freezes many times during a recharge. It would be great if they could undo whatever they thought they were doing to make it customer-friendly.
