Boston Trash Schedule & Alerts

Does what it says! Would be cool if it functioned like a to-do list and kept notifying me until I marked the trash as officially taken out.

Great reminder for all pickups, and changes to schedule.

*UPDATE* I should have contacted the customer support before writing the review. My bad. Once they saw my comments here the responded extremely quickly and remedied the problem. The app is back to working perfectly, and does everything I could want. This app used to be fantastic, but ever since the May update, virtually all functionality has disappeared: notifications don't work, and the "My Schedule" feature is gone. Please fix this app!

The app is a clear, helpful, accurate, and easy to use resource. I just wish hazardous waste drop off was more than 2-3 times a year (and not canceled early in the day).

Really helpful recycling guide specific to the city. Boston doesn't recycle some things other places do. I'm always using the search to see whether I can put something in the blue bin or not.

The app would be useful if the city actually picked up based on the posted schedule. Haven't seen yard waste picked up in a months without having to call 311.

Very good app. Keeps me on track of trash days especially during holidays and leaf collection dates. I also like you can find a list of what's acceptable to throw away vs what needs special pick up scheduled.

Very useful app!! Reminders for twice per week trash and recycling pickup. I find the listing for dates of curbside yard waste pickup to be extremely useful also!! Good job with this app!

My apartment complex has dumpsters for our trash, but I use this app often to double check to see if something goes into the trash or recycling. If you care about our planet, you need a way to check if something can go into the local recycling system.

had issues with calendar and notifications after recent updates. uninstalled and reinstalled the app, re-added my address and see the schedule again. will wait to see on the notifications

Reminds me the night before trash day, automatically updated for holidays. Also reminds me of upcoming toxic waste drop-off days. Does what it should with minimal fuss.

Like the reminder, wish it came a bit earlier though, delivery time is late. But, better late than never!!

I love having this app remind me about when to put out trash, recycling, and yard waste on the right day. It gets the holidays right, so there is never any doubt about when to bring your stuff to the curb.

Great app, shows the full schedule and also has a great database to determine what is recyclable/what should go in the trash.

Wanted a simple straightforward schedule, not this complicated series of whatever I was just forced to download: 1 more memory-hogging, data-eating phishing App.

It just reminds me to when to take out the trash and what kind should I take out. It's also great to sort the trash out with the option of asking if it's recycling or trash... Pretty happy with jt

Lucky to live in one is the few places to have it's own app to remove me when you take it the trash. Awesome use of technology.

With app I know when to set the garbage out and what is being picked up that week. Information on what can be recycled is reasonably inclusive.

Awesome to be able to look up Items by name and see if they can be recycled... Also info on hazardous waste pickup days!

This is great resource. Thankful for reminders every week. There is so much going on that sometimes I forget what day it is.

Very user friendly. I like it because I can check when I need to put the trash out on weeks that we have a holiday.

This app has helped keep me out of the doghouse. It does get me points or have a leaders board, but I love this app.
