The most unreliable and untrustworthy service delivery app! I won't recommend this app to anyone. They delivered I wrong order and I had to navigate their unfriendly application to search for ways to return/exchange the order. After eventually making contact with the ASAP consultant they assured me that the incorrect order will be collected and another one delivered. It has been over 48 hours without it being resolve. I would recommend Checkers60 any day!! They have a superior customer service!!
App does have a history of promotional vouchers. My app, once you click on the "promotion notification", it doesn't even show in the app anymore when the app opens. So you must remember the code. Better to have a menu item that shows recent valid codes. Delivery was great. Didn't like the whole replace item process and notification thereof.
I would have given zero rating. Placed my order, paid and then not delivered. Constantly phoning to follow up on resending and to get this sorted, but with no success at all. Worst experience ever. I will never ever use Pick n Pay ASAP again, as my money is gone and I have no goods to show for that. Same story that they are escelating........
Service is great and delivery is prompt. App is easy to navigate and refunds are done when items ordered less than the final price. Overall pleasantly surprised with Pick n Pay and this app. 2/ 3 years ago I had a horrible experience with their online shopping, thankfully the company learned experience.
The app works well. Had a few orders that went well, the first two I got invoices and everything. My last 3 orders were never on time, last 2 times my bags was ripped open and I don't get an invoice, and this time they took some of the goods out of the bag? And I got a notification for having to pay extra? Not a dependable service.
Very disappointed in the current experience on the app. I figured to give it a try over checkers 60 and I regret it; my orders ETA kept changing to where it just delighted the order to the next day (I wouldnt be available to recieve it). Tried to call customer care but have been on hold for 30 Min at a time, and they don't return calls if you leave a message. It essentially stole my money!
Worst shopping experience ever. Twice I've been let down by this app. My final straw is when I ordered yesterday, the delivery ETA was 18:30 - 20:00, it kept been postponed until today on Sunday. I wanted the stuff yesterday and this stupid app doesn't give an option to cancel an order! When it comes to choosing alternative products it just terrible. No pound for pound similar products.
Disappointed. The first time I used the app I had no issues, this time they did not show me the live shopping. It didn't ask me for alternatives. I had to keep closing and re-opening the app hoping for updates. The next time I refreshed, the driver was on the way and half my items were out of stock. A bit too glitchy for me
I've never had a bad experience with this service. From ordering to delivery its been excellent. Not often is an item unavailable but I'm notified very quickly and item replaced with similar. Delivery is always early or on time and so far never late. Specials are very welcome!
A lot of issues. - My refunds have not come through for over 2 months they're withholding roughly R1k of my money, have to make constant calls and emails to support to get issues resolved, CC'ing management in support emails makes no difference. This app used to be good but now it's just a load of garbage from a support side - Also, I keep getting expired items and they don't refund you. I'm honestly fed up with ASAP service at this point. I'm considering going to the shops again 🚮
I gave it a 1 rating just because there is no option for 0. This is possibly the worst online experience I have ever had. I ordered some groceries and on checkout it clearly said delivery between 6 and 7PM and I checked out. 30 mins later I checked on order progress and it was now saying delivery is going to be between 9 and 10.30. Takes out the whole point of ASAP doesn't it?? Never using the app again. 👎👎👎👎
I don't often get all my items in my order (Midrand). When I had several missing, I logged a call /email, but still I haven't been refunded for missing items. Support closed my query without checking into the matter assuming other "channels" have dealt with it. Will be deleting the ASAP app and continue using checkers Sixty60 - with whom I've had no issues with any of my orders.
The app is okay in general. Choices are too limited and you cannot choose replacements if an item is out of stock. I live in an area where there are two PnP stores, one of which is a hyper and the delivery times keep being pushed further, sometimes to the next day. Very frustrating.
The app appears to have been built by a junior developer. Messages on promo codes, current orders and refunds are lost as soon as you open the app to read more on the pop notification on the phone. You cannot retrieve the Information or messages. Pls fix this or house this info under a specific tab
Very poor app. You put in your adres at the start, then when you have finished shopping and want to checkout they tell you you are outside of the delivery area. Then when you change the delivery adres the prices on the products also change. I will stick with the Sixty60 app from Checkers.
The app works fine, but the service is poor. Ordered groceries at 9am, still no sign of delivery at 2pm and no communication as to what the problem is. According to the help desk a driver has been assigned, I was given his number but there is no answer. This is the second time using the service and both times I have waited inordinately long for delivery.
Be very careful ordering from pnpasap. They don't deliver all your goods but still charge for them. Trying to sort it out is a nightmare. You get given reference numbers but nothing gets done. I have been trying to sort my last short delivery out since mid April. They are thieves, they just steal your money. Don't have this problem with any of the other delivery companies
I downloaded the app to do online shopping, filled my cart and then couldn't add my card for payment. I tried to call customer service to see what the issue is but they kept me on hold for more than 10min until my airtime ran out. Horrible experience...
The frustration of waiting for your orders to be delivered 3-5 hours after placing it on the ASAP app outweighs the "supposed" luxury of having your shopping done and delivered for you. Not worth it. I'm switching over to other service providers.
It was great, untill I had two orders back to back with missing items. Edit: Updating my review as the issue was finally resolved, albeit, weeks later. Thank you to Lanecia at PnP asap for sorting it out, she gets 5 stars, the app, not so much.
This is the worst service ever! I placed a order at 9 a.m. and it's now 13:52 p.m. and I am yet to receive my order. I ordered goods to prepare lunch with and now we are hungry! I need a discount voucher before I ever use this terrible service again. I actually give this app zero stars. I would not recommend this app to my worst enemy. The service centre is not helpful as they cannot provide an update regarding my order and when I can expect delivery. Utterly useless.
Been very disappointed at the customer service to sort out an error with a delivery item. Such a small error. Been reporting over and over since February. One department passes it on to another who passes it to another who resolves the ticket without attending
Worst experience ever. They replaced an item without even contacting me, with another that was 3 times more expensive, and then debited my account again. To make matters worse, the driver was extremely rude, yelling and beckoning me to his car instead of delivering to the door as everyone else does. I will never use this app again. Update: The same verbally abusive driver was sent to me again and this time he insulted me and dumped my bags on the ground with force, damaging some of my items.
Something has gone terribly wrong with this service of late and it's only getting worse. The last 2 deliveries were missing items - first 1, then 3, and I'm not getting any response to my support requests. Please help. I'll not be using this service any longer.
Having options is key! No replacement available? Also, If you're going to spend R35 for delivery and minimum R20 driver tip the the cost of driving to pnp is cheaper. (For some people). Its sad to imagine that a driver could loose a tip because there's no other choice, it's either R0 or R20 (or more). Not everyone can afford to tip alot. Maybe more freedom to choose the amount should be considered.
The app is ideal. Been looking for a easy online ordering and delivery app for the longest time. The app can be a little misleading though. It shows one delivery time and I guess depending on what happening in the store, keeps re-adjusting the delivery time. So while you can reach the delivery, the actual delivery time should be taken with a grain of salt Also, why does the app not know what stock is with the that'll deliver the goods. Items are continuously removed from your order.
