BOTW: Recipes!

I love this app! It has helped me in incredible ways to be able to continually stay safe in Hyrule! For some reason, tonight the app, once open, immediately shuts down. I have shut down my phone and reopened with no change in this particular app. I can't access my favorites, desired buffs or individual ingredients. Is this an app issue or system issue? This is the first problem I have had with this app. Otherwise it is wonderful!

Love this app! It's very helpful in figuring out how to cook all my stuff together properly. Unfortunately, whenever I ask it to pull up the list of recipes on any page it takes a year and a half to load. And if I exit out, it resets and I have to wait again. It's not like I have slow internet or anything... But, great app, still using it despite that because it's super helpful and organized well. I love that you can search for specific ingredients!

Edit: thanks for getting it up and running! Good app, although it doesn't have all the best recipes for all purposes. It also might be useful to have what an ingredient does in general in recipes in the ingredient's listing. For example, with hearty radishes you might say, "adds temporary hearts when cooked with ingredients without effects." Original: The app crashes right after it opens for me. I tried reinstalling a few times. Still crashes. Super excited to use it though!

This could be great but it is incomplete and flawed. First of all, you should be able to see all possible variations under the name of a recipe. Some recipes on this app can be made easier/cheaper/better than what you are shown. Second of all, some recipes are flat out missing. Even something as simple as Wheat Bread was omitted in all forms. Finally, you can no longer submit more recipes. I tried! Not even for your own use. That would save this app, being able to personally save recipes.

decent app. i havent come close to making every dish in the game. there is some serious logistic problems to actually categorizing and collecting all that information. what i have found is a great selection of recipies here. while the recipies i use may or may not be here in this app (havent checked) i do think that the developer should, instead of saying low, mid or high level, use the one, two or three icon images like in the game as well at the time the dish is active, like he does.

Roome for improvements in terms of downloading and keeping data offline. Overall is gud but has minor bugs to loading to an empty black screen. Here's a suggestion, it would be great if the UI has a drop down multi-tree like categories instead of endless scrolling. A tab of alphabets or even numbers in categorical like 1.1 or 1.2 would help. Juz an idea for u in terms of cleaning up the messy unsorted list. Maybe even grid view as alternative would help. Variety would be nice.

Just downloaded and opened this app. I have to say it is EXACTLY what I was hoping for. The only thing I might do differently is add a visual of how many hearts with the desired buff etc. Just because, at least I personally would benefit from that visual. Otherwise it's perfect.

I love that you can search by ingredients or buff. You can also save recipes which is super helpful! Unfortunately there are several items that are just missing from the catalog. :/

This is a really helpful app that can save hours from trying to find and get a screenshot from the castle library every time you feel like making monster cake. Fun for challenge runs like elixir only. Very helpful. Only complaint is that on a few occasions the app has stopped loading the ingredients and recipes all together, however, this is a fairly small app and a quick reinstall of the app was proven to not only work but also be quite painless. Good app, if the bug keeps happening, no biggie.

The app keeps closing before you can look at the recipes. Edit: Thanks for responding. I'll rate the app properly once I can use it. Edit 2: It works! The recipes are easy to find either by ingredient ir buff. And you can favourite the ones you use most to find them quickly.

No ads. That's reason enough right there. It is missing a few variations of meals/elixirs, but the basics are there for you to build upon. Just mix, match, & experiment with similar attributes. Chip in a $1 and maybe we'll get "The Compete Recipe Guide" one day... and even if we don't, at least you supported a product from someone else who cares about the game as much as you.

I agree with one of the previous reviews. I would like to be able to manually enter my ingredients and the see what recipes I can make. Then be able to sort the recipes based upon attributes like value, elemental resistance, or buff. While it may seem tedious to enter the inventory, this would ultimately make the app more useful.

It's a great app but, I have a suggestion to make sorting recipes easier. Along with being able to search for recipes by desired buffs or ingredients, there could be another option to sort recipes by. My suggestion is that, there should be an option to sort recipes by whether that said recipe is cooked at a campfire or at a cooking pot.

Great BOTW cook book! It doesn't have everything, it definitely has enough to get you through the game with what you need. Well organized. I hope it can continue to be updated and become a fully finished recipe guide. Which is almost fully reliant on user contributions. Down load this app!

Awesome app! Some improvements would be to add an option to rate and sort recipes, so we could always try to create the best first. Also, a way to input our current ingredients and then have it output which recipes we can make.

Great app for botw recipes, but it seems that the feature to suggest recipes is broken. I hope to be able to submit the recipes I find in the future so you can put them up for everyone to see! Please fix this and I'll give 5 stars. I also suggest adding a feature to create your own recipes and save them for future use/reference. Thanks for the good app! I previously reported an error with this app. Turns out I didn't press the button in the options menu to connect without Wi-Fi. I have found the information provided to be very helpful and recommend it to others.

I found this really helpful to 100% the dish category in my inventory from BOTW. Something that I will address so that this could be better: When searching a dish, it should show ALL dishes with the word in it (ex. crepe). Either way, 5 stars for major effort!

So convenient! I love this app, thank you so much for creating this. I was so sick of looking up all the recipes online and then forgetting the ingredients right after 😆 I want to participate in the poll but there's no option for "I'm new". The poll is for if I liked the update or not. I can't tell because I never had the old version. 🤗

Overall an incredibly useful recipe companion! A few ingredients and recipes missing, but my main issue is that after the recent update the app refuses to open, closing as soon as it does. Issue a fix and 5 stars will be reinstated 😊

Would be a 5 if the list items had a different ordering. Perhaps I'm missing something, is there no way to change sort? I think it should be low level whatever -> High level (Maybe even a way to sort by duration?)

I'm sorry I was too quick and impatient! Thinking since I've added many dishes and elixirs it took just 3 seconds to load. Really sorry about that. It crashes whenever I try to get of the main screen Edit: now it crashes whenever I open the app Edit2: it now works I just needed to re-install the app, though it can feel kind of cramped so maybe different layouts could help

I find this really useful. But i want to say that there were no recipes for the steathfin trout. Or the silent princess. Or star fragments. I have to imagine there are some?? Otherwise i have found incredibly useful. Thank you so much for your time making it. I have every intention to buy the donators version.

it's good to learn which items have which buffs and which recipes give more hearts but this needs to have a system that allows users to add items they have in their inventory and show exactly what they can make with what they have.
