When I press the jump button, the ball goes too high or too low. Many times whenever I press some button nothing happens

It's ok
They changes the features a little bit. For example, you can double jump and you can run up walls. But water does not work the way it is supposed to so I can't finish the game because the last level requires you to float in water to get the last hoop without walls to help you. Also, the hoops don't change in size throughout the game. So, I think there might be a glitch in the system and would greatly appreciate it being looked over because this is a great classic from my childhood and would hate for others not to be able to finish it. I will upvote this app of that problem is fixed
