Tried Precision Boxing but found it was having me go 8 rounds without throwing a single right hook and some of the punches simply weren't called out. Boxtastic is definitely the bug-free choice. As I type this at the end of a session I am gasping for air which is exactly what you want. The combos called are realistic so you don't feel like you're struggling to find the right position to throw the next punch, they flow quite nicely. Good app. Well done.
Nice app, content wise. I'm pretty bugged by the ugly interface. I know it shouldn't matter, but this app could be 5/5 with some rehaul tor the graphics. Also I'd love to have some kicks, knees and elbows, but as this is a boxing app it's quite understandable they're missing.
Since being forced to work from home for almost a month now this has help a great deal. I've always been a field tech, on the road . Now doing nothing but remotes, this has been a great way to step away and get a quick 3 to 15 minute work out.Being told combinations is great and truly see better form in both my lefts and rights. Finally after years of my heavy bag just hanging it's getting the work out we both need. This app is straight to the point, great work outs.
Uninstalled the app within 10 seconds of opening it which is why I'm giving it a 3. I assume it's functionally fine if you can work through the cancerous homescreen. It looks like it's straight out of the 90's. I usually put function before form but this was too much for me.
I like and use this app a lot. It's pretty easy to customize it to your level or what you want to do that day. Small thing but I really like there's no issue with playing Spotify and this at the same time so I can still have my music. The only thing for me was that it was a little difficult to understand the caller at first but I've mostly gotten used to him.
I don't mind it but it would be nicer if there was virtual pad workouts or the opponent punching back if you've seen the YouTuber precision striking you'll have an idea of what I'm talking about but overall the app ist bad but not for me sadly
purely for fitness, if you like boxing and want to use it as way to get fit then this app is ideal. my only complaint is during the real fight workouts, instead of saying defend it would be good if it actually shouted out defensive moves like it does on boxing 1 and 2.
Great app. I like the round timer and background noise. I'd like it better if it kept going when the phone was locked, and the trainer's voice could be a little clearer
It is great for a heavy bag workout or shadowboxing anywhere like your office or a hotel. No video to watch while you try to punch the bag at the same time, very handy!
Disappointing I have paid for the full version and it still has a lot of Ads as well as not working when you close screen. Definitely not worth upgrading...
Had looked at a few different options however boxtastic seems like the best to me. Love the options for random generated workouts, great you can choose a range of real full fights, call outs are clear and good you can choose number and/or punch. Only suggestion - add Wilder v Fury 1 and 2 please. First fight from Wilder's perspective and rematch from Fury's.
Pretty decent app, I would prefer all the workouts to have a punch name option rather than just the number. A 3 second warning bleep to alert me to the end of a rest period would also be welcome
Great app, just started using it but I already love the flexibility of the workouts. Loved it so much I paid for the pro version. Not disappointed!
Love this app. An excellent workout. I just wish that there more explanation of the types of punches thrown and explanation of defense.
Amazing and perfect. I can't go to my local YMCA right now due to the Covid - 19 shut down. Bought a used 85 lb bag and this application is perfect for a heavy and good bag workout. Perfect!
Really good for beginner/medium level still good for experienced level to warm up with. Still better than some apps that you pay/subscribe for
You cannot turn off the ducks and covers and this just confuses everything and makes it difficult to follow. Uninstalled.
Good app, calls put punch names or numbers, not just numbers. be great if you could customise boxercise combinations.
Great app for shadowing box! I would love to have more videos for every type of hit since I think I'm doing it wrong. But anyway I love this app for training
Really great app. Love the "Real Fight" work out is great feature. I hope it will be updated with more and more fights from history
glad to have this kind of boxing guide app. good thing there was an option for calling out punches by their name rather than the numbers.
Definitely part of my routine. I do 4 rounds of 2 minutes and can feel it. Gonna step it up but really works the muscles
really good app but it would be perfect if you can choose to turn off the defence moves so you can just focus on punching
such a busy design i dont even know where to start. there's a big red button on the first screen saying "advertise here". poor experience.
great supplement to my boxing classes. allows me to practice punch sequence without a coach present. hope the form is good!!
Awesome app, gets you working hard, although there is a level to suit everyone. Highly recommend.
Good on the cusp of being great. Wish there were more options such as turning off the background images or choosing your own, ability to clear stats, etc. The app should be able to work in the background (music), could use a face-lift as graphics looks "old". Boxing wise, I wish it included more advanced defense such as parries, shoulder blocking, and an option for footwork such as stepping back, circling out, pivoting, etc. Defense should have an option like choosing which punches you wanted.
