BP Journal - Blood Pressure Diary

BP Journal app serves as a companion app to your home blood pressure monitor. The app lets you log your blood pressure readings, view trends, and send reports to your physician or professional healthcare provider. With multi-profile support, track blood pressure of other members of your family too.

Note: This app DOES NOT measure blood pressure. To measure blood pressure reliably, use a clinically-validated blood pressure monitor (with an inflatable cuff).

Features
● Log blood pressure and pulse readings using fast keyboard data entry
● Understand what the numbers mean and monitor blood pressure trends with statistics and interactive charts
● Send blood pressure PDF reports to your physician/doctor
● Set up reminders to take blood pressure measurements or medication
● Export or import blood pressure data in CSV format for easy data interchange with other applications e.g. Microsoft Excel
● Manage blood pressure records of multiple profiles (great for caregivers)
● Support for common blood pressure classification guidelines (ACC/AHA, ESH/ESC, JNC7, Hypertension Canada)
● Keep your data safe with automatic backups to Google Drive
● Configurable date/time formats and measurement units
● Comprehensive online user guide

Does exactly what you need: it lets you record your blood pressure, pulse and weight, then export it as pdf and/or csv anywhere you want (drive, gmail, locally, etc...). The ads are of 2 types: small banner at the bottom of main screen and pop-up fullscreen as soon as you hit "save" on a new record (Argh. How hateful.) I paid for the app not just to get rid of ads, but also to reward the dev for the usefulness of PDF charts. If only it would remain set on A4... 😅

Overall the app is great! I was able to import data from a previous app (that is no longer available for Android); data entry is easy and straightforward. My only (minor) issue is the Trend Chart is kind of small, I wish I could make it larger or be able to zoom in to see more details.

I really love the ease of use of the app, the UI is simple and intuitive, and all of the data and charts offer visual feedback! But the ability to export this info into nicely organized CSV and PDF docs is the BEST! Perfect for my doctor visits. The ads do autoplay but they are not so frequent to be a nuisance. Typically, I use the app once a day.

Update: Uninstalled. Weight is not included in chart. How weight affects blood pressure is important to note. Otherwise, this app has the features that I think are very useful: easy to read and understand stats, a reminder, and the ability to update or change your entry in case of a mistake. Good app if you don't care about body weight.

The app is excellent. It's easy to use and the charts and stats are great. I like the feature of exporting a csv and pdf. I was finding my phone wanted to send the files via WhatsApp by default rather than giving me the choice of how to send them. I emailed Jason O who replied within 20 mins with an easy to understand answer. I'm impressed!! Thank you.

I like this app. I had tried two other blood pressure apps before this one but was unhappy with them. This was is good because you can enter data both current and past data, and it will sort it according to the date. It also allows you to amend data that has not been entered correctly which I was not able to do with the previous apps. You also can make notes for each data entry which I find helpful.

A really solid app. I've got an Omron BP cuff; I fire it up, wait for the results, then enter them. Literally 7 (number) taps to get systolic, diastolic, and BP; no additional tapping or swiping to change fields, it moves to the next field automatically. "Cuff position" (eg, right arm) and "Body position" (eg, seated) default to what you last entered, so that saves a bit of time as well. Charts and graphs, with various ways to slice and dice the data. Handy at a recent doc visit, too.

This is a solid app with a clear & concise privacy policy. I can't comment on the ads because, I payed the $2 to remove them once I saw the UI/options/settings. The developer is very responsive/friendly/helpful. The PDF export has separate data/visual settings. My only complaint is that the date can't rollback past 01.01.2000 but, that's not going to be an issue for users that don't need/want to go back (or are too young to). I'm really looking foward to seeing this app evolve/refine.

Got to say this is the slickest app I came across to record my BP readings and I loaded and tried many apps to decide which one I was going to permanently use. I can't even think of a suggestion to offer at this point. The settings were self explainable, the Help was so easy to go through, and the adds were gone within minutes of purchasing. The Import/Export/PDF options were something I needed and it's there. Been using for a while now and no issues at all. Great App !!!

Excellent App, Ad free version is worth every penny. My only dislike is that on the phone screen, the entries are in the correct order, I. e. newest entry at the top, oldest entry at the bottom, but on the exported PDF, the order of entries is reversed. It seems more logical that reading down the list should be going back in time to the oldest entry. An option to print newest entry first would be appreciated (m using v1.21). Thanks for your efforts on this really good App.

Excellent app, support is second to none. Following a recent issue with backup on my phone Jason has produced a new version. Love the layout and GUI. Edit: I like the fact t that the swap user is separated from the rest of the menu items, having the Readings, Statistics and Charts along the bottom (on phone) and side (tablet) makes it easier to check how things are. Having the PDF review in the export is also an excellent idea.

Good app, easy and quick to enter readings. Export of accumulated readings by emailing a pdf works well. Problem: I am unable to upgrade to the ad-free version because I can't get past the "Go premium now" link - nothing happens when when I click on it. No response from email support within the app, so hoping the developer sees this. UPDATE: All aspects of the app now work perfectly. The personal support received from Jason the developer has been second to none. Get this app - you will not be disappointed.

This is a stellar app, have been using it for a trial period and when I showed the statistics page to my Doctor he was so impressed by the app that I decided it was definitely worth rewarding the developer by way of purchasing the app for my continued usage. There is one thing I would like to see added to the app and that would be a metric for separate statistics for the right and left side appendages for blood pressure because there can be significant differences from right to left. Kudos!

Excellent. I like that I can put entries in via a keypad instead of using a slider. Another great feature is the ability to export a pdf report, which organizes the information in a way that makes the report easy to read. I've tried a few BP apps before but none suited me as well as this one... this is a keeper for me.
