It says that this app can only be accessed until Dec.31 '18 only and i should download the new app (which is STILL in BETA). Your new app doesn't show my prepaid credit card & credit card. I am unable to transfer funds to my prepaid & unable to view my cc info. Although I was still able to access the old app (this one) and tried transferring to my prepaid successfully. This is confusing & without proper communication/instructions from BPI Management it makes me feel uncomfortable.
I have been using this app for several years already, easy way to transfer money to anyone. I understand the security risks involved in keeping this app that is why you are switching to the new BPI app. But please have an option to send the OTP thru e-mail so that we can transact even when we do not have access on our mobile numbers. Most of the time we, seafarers have no reception on our mobile phones. Or else please dont kill this app. Its very handy for me an OFW and for everybody else.
I like this app... very useful especially if you travel abroad a lot and need to settle something urgent back home. I would have given it five stars if only they'd added the capability of transferring funds to accounts from other banks. I already asked my branch and they confirmed this is not possible with the current app. I hope BPI would add this feature in the future... Other than that, this app measures up to my expectations.
Thankfully i can login in this app on this tablet with Android 4.4. On my phone with Android 4.3 when i login i always get a certificate error. You just have to improve the tablet UI. When you tap menu on top right, theres no back button. Some people will not realize that you can go back to the previous menu by tapping the device's return key. Also sometimes the app just logs me out even when it wasnt idle? I was scrolling and opening menus then it says I was signed out due to time-out?
I would like to keep this app, don't like the new app because it's lagging and requires otp to register the mobile which i can't because the associated number to my acct is no longer working. If you want us to use the new app, provide a feature where we can update the associated number to the acct so we can receive the otp. Also an option to receive the otp via the associated email to the account. Lastly, i am using multiple devices which means i need to register it all making it very difficult for me. There is no bpi bank in the country where i am so those features will be very helpful and convenient for ofw's. Please consider all of your clients' feedback and take action. Thanks!
Please do not retire this app. This is way better than the new version. All transactions are seamless and simple to do. I like the credit card details as it shows realtime usage of the card. Also, loading a prepaid card is so simple to do.
I used to be able to check my account online using this app on my phone but since the last update, it wont allow me to login. I keep getting the "Error Loging in - Certificate". Even after unistalling and re-installing the app, the same error persists. I will change my review after you fix this.
I dont really understand.what seems to be the problem with this app. I can use this before but now, all it does is to give me an error message. Then at the bottom part of the app, it requires me to agree on the terms and conditions but i cannot find the button where i can tap to agree with that "terms and conditions"
Certificate error. I tried reformating the phone, made the time and date automatic, but still cant log in because of the certificate. This is an old phone so thats why i cant find the new app that you were recommending. If thats the case, how can people with old phone use your new app when we cant see it available in the playstore? And whats the problem with your certificate? I want some answers?
Very secure, simple interface, user-friendly, tons of features! I'm very satisfied..so satisfied, in fact, that I hesitate to install the new version because this already has everything I need.
Please retain this existing app - if ever you really want to do a complete revamp [I always read a proposed new version whenever I open it]. All the features fit to what's needed. It's very SPEEDY and EFFICIENT, too. Thanks.
This apps is really good for people who loves mobile banking transaction, balance inquiry, Load credit and much more. Especially when you're abroad. But this apps need some improvement. Just sayin. But overall! Love it!
Please... Don't close this app. It's working well... I find nothing wrong with it... Please... With the new one I can't log in because the OTP needs to be sent to registered mobile number which is now inactive because I'm outside Philippines. If you will close this app then do something about the new one. PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THIS. I'm sure I'm not the only one having trouble about this.
Hassle. It's Hassle. All I wanted to use this is to Check my BPI Prepaid Card Balances but Oops! It was for the Classic one... It only redirects me instead to the Web Browser instead of in the app. Why can't you make my Device compatible to your New BPI Classic app since you advertised it to let me install the app for Hassle-less transactions.
Too much authentication to be able to setup properly - authentication that requires you to go to the nearest ATM + a use of a PC, to much unnecessary hassle. -- simplification of the process is very much needed here!
I'm an ofw, this is easy for us to use than the new one. The transfer to anyone option helps alot. I use it all the time. The new one is hard for us to use. Even loading the app takes so much time. We also need to register the phone again to use the new app, unfortunately we need an active simcard to get our one time pin. My old simcard is not working abroad. My acct info is not updated because i hardly see any bpi banks here. Please dont kill this app, its doing the purpose just fine. We still need this!
BPI online bangking system is not delivering excellent service. There were cases of sudden log out or every time you log in with an error message then log you out again. Not so of giving convenience. Very frustrating
This is better than the new one. Straightforward and lightweight. Though missing the new security features. I find the UI/UX of this app more convenient.
BPI mobile apps utterly useless way way behind , over complicated unfreindly interface . Why can you not produce simple easy to use digital platforms like other world class banks that actually are intuitive and user friendly ? . I have found it impossible to register a contact number for otp be it local or international and therefore cannot avail the app anyway nor use a credit card for anything other than low value transactions as a result and nobody within Bpi can give a straight answer as to why . Sadly this bank is going from bad to worse , if your an ofw abroad forget trying to use this app you will get nowhere .Bpi I suggest you look at foreign banks mobile apps and see how far you are behind , scrap this rubbish until you can offer something of the same standard and simplicity test it before you unleash it on your long suffering customers
A lot of people using BPI is residing abroad or OFW. This app requires OTP which is good security feature. However, it only accepts Philippine numbers. Since I am overseas, it should be able to add our mobile # to the country where we are residing. For now it is a pain to use
Customer service is horrible.Intl number and viber support is not working, canned responses on emails and multiple downtime on this app. This is not a travel-friendly bank. I have problems with this app just now abroad and they want me to call with number that doesnt work.
this one works definitely better than the new app. i just paid my bills with it, so hassle free. the developers should shut down the other useless, good for nothing, pathetic, frustrating, inconvenient bpi mobile banking app. but not this one, this one works perfectly!
Have been trying to install this app for months now but each time I register my device it won't, saying "unable to register my device". Given the old app will be obsolete by Nov 30 that bug needs to be fixed. Help!
I don't know what's wrong but it's no longer working. Can't log in for weeks now. I thought it's because of the new app (w/c is useless) but I don't know. I emailed my concern last week with screenshots but they seem to have auto-deleted it. 😒
Don't kill this app. It is better than the new one and that one STILL isn't sending an OTP. Don't kill it if you haven't fixed the issues yet. You're causing a lot of trouble for your customers.
This app works fine. In terms of mb, this app is lighter than the new one. Internal memory space is precious to a user like me so I can still install other apps; so, this version works great for me. Another plus factor is that it loads fast even if the internet connection is not at H+ capacity. Unfortunately, I have to uninstall it because I can no longer login in it. BPI has barred us and insisted we migrate to the new one which, by the way, has more low stars and negative reviews.
