brain : code - the hardest puzzle

There's definitely quality in this game but some design choices made it boring for me. The introduction is quite long. The need to type everything on a phone keyboard gets old quickly. And finally I was immediately thrown off by the fifth level. Words were all anagrams. Ok. I get that. Maybe there is even something else I didn't see. But point is, I'm gonna have to take 100 text guesses at close to random (if not more) and it's just level 5 😑. Interesting idea, but not my thing. 😕

At first glance, I was a bit intimidated by the layout & what ame to mind was...this is a similar format to writing code for computer programs. Slowly the concept & the flow of the game started to selax me of the initial dread& sometimes, fear that comes with the learning of a new skill when it is pertained to schooling, but for some reason isnt present, or fades quickly when learning to play a new game. Suddenly, I was having a blast. Brain code had taken that fear & marl me harness it. Bravo!

Very good game. My only complaint is this: sometimes we've found part of the solution to a level, then we spend light bulbs on a small tip and the tip we get is for the steps we've already done.

Level 25 is impossible on your own, it's utter nonsense because of course that happens exactly halfway in and makes it impossible to finish this game. Edit: Dev used a clearly automated cookie cutter response, so I'll clarify. You are physically required to have at least two devices to complete level 25, such as a PC or a second phone, as it forces you to scan a QR code in the app. Unless you manually draw out the QR code, it's completely impossible to do with only one device.

So far very fun. I've played some logic puzzle apps before and I like the clean simplicity of this one, as well as the mix of easier levels versus more difficult ones. It's a fun, relaxing game for when I need to chill or distract myself for a little bit and it gets my brain juices pumping. Might have some overly abstract logic behind certain puzzles, but it's not impossible to solve. Just gotta think as if the box doesn't exist.

The game is really good! Unfortunatly, I can't give it 5 stars. Some of the levels are designed in a way where you don't know what's the end goal, unlike puzzles like Yellow. Why only imperial? Especially in science, we use metric. Mixing colors on the opposite sides of the color wheel neutralizes/mutes the color, brown is desaturated red but it all depends on the mixing ratio, but I'd say it makes warm gray. I also think the hints cost too much light bulbs in comparison to how many we get.

Great game. It certainly increased in difficulty as you progress, but once you get into the correct mindset it was extremely fun to complete. The best part for me was how the developer unlocked the phone's potential where literally every function in the phone could possibly be the key to solving the puzzle. Can't wait for BC2022!

Honestly, some of the puzzles are great, but some are just ridiculous. Googling coordinates, looking at the about section in the play store, and most irritating, needing a second device for a puzzle, are simply not good puzzles. There's no out of box thinking there. Needing internet for an offline game makes no sense, and assuming I have a friend nearby or a second device is just privileged thinking. the fruits in the basket puzzle is bugged. I put all 3 totally in the basket 3x before it worked

Exceptional game. I'm never the type to write reviews but this game deserves it. It forces you to think critically and solve problems in multiple different ways. The only downside is how vague some levels are which can be a little frustrating but with patience you can beat it. This is the first time I have been looking forward to a mobile game release. I already know brain:code 2 won't disappoint. Huge props to the developer, you smashed it.

THIS IS AN AWESOME GAME! like seriously, one of the best games I've ever played, it's logical and has some ✨wacky✨ solutions. most puzzle games are just dumb, but this is genuinely done so well. the solutions can vary from obvious to having to find things on Google to get a code that you have to use on the puzzle to get the answer. I'm bad at explaining, but plz get it, the developers worked rlly hard on it, and it shows 🙏

Just finished the game it's outstanding out of box like scanning qr code, going to Google maps, most important I love the part that breaks the classic games logic "a level passed isn't gone" growing the plant is of my favourite levels you have to keep thinking and memorising, just one note some like 10% or less makes no-sense and the first hint is most of the time useless, but I love the concept and it shows the hard work of the developer to bring such ideas.

It feels less like a puzzle game and more like a push to get you to buy answers. Especially with the puzzles that require the "/text" answers, the hindrance isn't the puzzle, but rather figuring out exactly which of the 1,000 possible words the dev wants you to describe the answer with. The only solution is mindless trial and error or spending 15 hint points to have the game tell you exactly what to type.

Cool idea and unique game but some puzzles are just plain annoying and overly cryptic. SPOILER: One puzzle can only be solved during a specific time of day. Yes, you read that correctly - it checks the time on your phone and is impossible to continue unless you solve it between certain hours of the day. Really?!? There's a fine line between clever and stupid and that one certainly crosses the line. Minus one star for that.

Cool concept. I will point out that it is the developer's job to make it clear how far you need to go for certain puzzles besides a paragraph in the description that people usually do not read. It is also a player's job to read the description. In general I suggest that paragraph or something similar be included within the tutorial itself since it is such a key element to the game. Especially if some puzzles are impossible unless you fit the requirements.

GUI is easy to learn. Game concept is interesting. I think revising text prompts would improve the game play. Harder puzzles require smarter clues. E.g. "night level" in level 16 is not an English idiom and leads the out of the box thinker down wrong paths. How about an English based clue such as "changing times will show the light, from day we move into the night." Night is defined multiple ways in science and literature, so the time range should be wider. Or "witching hour shows the way."

I really enjoyed this game, but I have to agree that some levels were indeed too farfetched. Especially level 26, I definitely could not see the C or the D. Some levels required a command to start that I wouldn't have picked if I was following logic. But overall, I was intrigued and entertained enough to want to keep going.

Love the logic in the game. Really makes you think more outside the box and the aspects of answers being anywhere is very great! Hope the developer had fun making this game.

It's awesome game 10 levels in and the puzzles are made hard and i have to scratch my head for long time before getting the answer right

There are no prompts to "solve" the puzzle. There's no questions, and there is no unifying theme between them. Don't waste your time. It's pretty though, so it gets 2 stars

The app is horrible. There is no instructions as to how to do things The User interface is also not friendly

Challenging and creative. It's a new take on puzzle games. These levels can be pretty difficult even early on. You really have to think of every possibility and sometimes guessing is how figure it out. I love it so far.

Can't progress beyond level 44, since my tablet (Galaxy A7) screen size might be interfering with the game somehow. 🤔 I have swapped and stopped at the correct turns, but nothing happens. Both sides equal the same sum. I have tried moving them further and closer to the equation but nothing. A related problem I overcame is the camera during the /scan number clicking wasn't very sensitive to my movement, making my face go outside the allowed area all the time when trying to click the numbers.

Honestly this game stretches your brain and challenges your critical thinking. It's great fun. In addition to the puzzles, the music and easy layout make this app so clean and crisp, I love it. I've never even left a review on the Google play store before but this app is so good so here we are.

Enjoyable and brain racking. All the efforts you guys have put in making this game are impeccable and really appreciative. Music is great💗 Just solved the 50th level and I'm so eager and excited for the new levels! After solving every level I used to wonder how did you'll come up with this puzzle? Especially those co-ordinates related levels. After all the levels I solved (without any hint) my happiness would be unfathomable! A big huge THANKS to every person involved in making this game💙💙
