Brain Gems is a fun and addictive word game that combines elements from all of these games into a nice shiny diamond!
Each puzzle consists of crossword-style clues where all of the answers fit into a diamond shape. So shorter words are on the top and bottom, while longer words are closer to the center. Once you answer a clue correctly, you reveal that word in the diamond!
And once you get one answer right, you now have another hint to the remaining clues, since neighboring answers share letters!
Clues are a wide variety of trivia, definitions, pop-culture, movies, television, stars, quotes, bad puns, songs, capitals, language, vocabulary, logic, fill-in-the-blanks, geography, word play and much more!

I had to change rating as I was promised 50 extra puzzles if I rated game. Well after I did, every time I tried to access the next puzzle, I was flipped back to the game to rate! One rating should be sufficient, DUH! I changed rtg from 5 to 3(being generous under circumstances) and am uninstalling.
I love word games. This one combines several types into one great game. The word ladder format is not as easy as you'd expect. The clues encourage thinking & problem solving skills. I'm enjoying this game tremendously. You will too.
I like that it makes me think of all sorts of words with the same letters. I also like that I can turn the timer off and do it at my own pace. Sometimes I have to look up things on thr internet but it helps me learn in that way. It is a game that keeps your mind thinking and alert.
I like it but some clues difficult for me and of course the puzzle can't be completed unless the first clues are entered. Means abandoned game.
After I played twice It got easier...had to change how I solved word puzzle, more limited in scope than games that allow you to create your own words. Good job y'all!
Love this game but they are no longer developing it or adding new puzzles. The paid version isn't even available. Too bad, one of the better word games out there.
The game really makes you think at times, but there are options to turn on hints and turn off the timer. I'm addicted.
A twist on word puzzles. Makes you think, but not so hard as to be frustrating.
Well it would be a five star game but it is a bit too vague. Challenge is good but every once on a while would be nice if clues were a bit less cryptic. I do like the game immensely though.
Really fun variation of clues, some knowledge, some maddeningly cryptic, but the way the game is set up you've always got a chance

I love it. Taxes my brain. Only one problem. I have gone through all the puzzles and want to update. There seems to be no update.
I enjoy playing this game. Its fun and can be challenging. my only critique is that the info box sits right on top of the center of the diamond and you can't scroll the diamond to see what letters are under it.
Very fun and makes you think. It's a challenge but I would recommend this game to any one who loves word games and crossword puzzle games. Very addicting.

This is a fun game. It really makes you use your brain. I like that you get lots of hints, and if you use all hints on one puzzle, you get all hints back when you solve the puzzle and advance to the next puzzle

It's different than a crossword but has the same principle - they give you a clue and you determine the answer based on letters in previous and following answers. Use the free trial and see for yourself.

This is a great game for people who love word puzzles. Not only are the puzzles just plain good, the game itself is very original. I have yet to see another game like it. Definitely recommend if you are into word games!
It's way hard ! I hate when games are to hard to understand or u try every word u can think of but none of em work!
Keeps the mind occupied for hours at a time. It entertains, while exercising and increasing the brain power.
Once you figure out how to play it, its hard to put it down. Another great game that makes you think.
I may even upgrade for more puzzles once I (better) phone. Limited number of puzzles but its a lot for a free game of its type.

This game is fun and addictive. You can make it easier by turning off the timer feature, or harder by turning off the automatic hint feature. I've never had a glitch with it either, and the ads aren't distracting.

I really enjoy this game, I have to sit and wait for an hour everyday when picking my son up from school, so I am always looking for fun time-killing games that I haven't already played a billion times. I can play this an that hour goes by super quick...
