Or if you don't have time, skim FAQ below. In short, you should play using sheer intuition without strategizing (e.g. visualizing patterns, repeatedly recalling, etc.)
1. I want sound for Russian/French/...
==> You are not supposed to symbolize the sounds. Strategizing the game helps you play better, but will not work out your brain. What language it is shouldn't matter. The English sound shouldn't have been there in the first place. It is the default just to stay faithful with the original version. I reccommend you use Piano to reduce the risk of symbolizing the sound.
2. Please disable "auto advancement". I need to feel ready by practicing the lower level first.
==> Staying at your comfort level doesn't work out your brain. You are supposed to move on as soon as you do reasonably with the previous level. It doesn't matter if you keep failing at the higher level. It's the trying that works out your brain.

Frustrating that you cannot control the current level. I am put up a level before I am in any way ready and it wastes a lot of time geting back. I read the developer's rationale and it doesn't make sense - increasing irritation is not a learning enhancer for anything. Seems no more development being done though.
What happened to my paid App? I cannot access it anymore?? What happened? (Good N-back exercise. Minimum interface and a graph showing your progress.)
Good gameplay, no glitches. Stats are displayed in an easy to understand manner. Challenging game, thumbs up.
Would like the ability to increase or decrease interference. Even if it was just for manual mode.
Wonderful app. Have been using it for 3 years. Helps me keep my brains fit. Especially useful during periods of intensive learning (e.g. languages)
Far superior to other dual n back trainers: less costly, less then gamified, and less likely to demand intrusive permissions from your phone.

Please offer an option where we can dictate where to put the control buttons (picture, sound, color, and position). Often times, I hit the wrong button, even though I have the right answer in mind. The game is frustrating enough!
The miss counts for sounds are often incorrect. Never clicking sound the following listed a miss count of 1 at the default level: hlhqsrckhtkqtrhrqlqll. So this app appears broken. I have repeated this test multiple times, finding mistaken miss counts for sounds.
Just started using it. It took me a while to figure it out (shows that I need it!) but now I started my daily dose. Let the brain expand!
Great. But please put total # of trials today on the pop-up after a session.
Good dual n-back app! Wish it had manual control of levels though.

The sound cuts out every once in awhile and I miss what the last letter was please fix this😁
Beginning of audio clips glitch/stutter for some reason. Would be a five star if that audio glitch is fixed.

Well executed Android version of brainworkshop, and it's hard to beat the price. Haven't experienced the audio troubles some users have reported.

Almost 5 stars. Had a question to development, still open.
Perfect for what I was looking for. The only critique I have is that when it reduces your n-back it's such a brief pop-up that flashes that I have missed it which of course messes up the results of my test. It would be helpful to have to acknowledge the change before starting the round.
