Braina PC Remote Voice Control
Braina (Brain Artificial) is an intelligent personal assistant software for Windows PC that has both text to speech and speech to text (speech recognition) features.
What can Braina do?
• Play Songs
- No need to search songs on your computer. For example just say, Play Hips Don't Lie or Play Akon and Braina will play it for you from anywhere in your computer or even the web.
• Dictate to any Software or Website
- Use speech to text feature in third party programs like Microsoft Word using Dictation mode.
• Remote Control Mouse and Keyboard
- Turn your Android phone or tablet into wireless mouse and keyboard and remote control your PC over a WiFi network or hotspot. Slide your finger on phone's screen to make the PC/Laptop mouse cursor make movement. Tap on the touchscreen to click. Left click, right click, double click, drag and drop support.
• Play Videos
- If you want to watch a video or movie, say Play video , for example Play video Godfather.
• Calculator
- Do calculations by speaking.
- e.g 45 plus 20 minus 10 . Braina can even help you in mathematics.
• Dictionary and Thesaurus
- See definition of any word.
- e.g. Define encephalon, What is intelligence?
• Open and Close any Programs
- e.g. Open notepad, Close notepad
• Open and Search Files and Folders 10 times faster

How to Connect App with PC?
1) Ensure that your PC and Android device are connected to the same WiFi network. If you don't have a WiFi router, you can also use WiFi Hotspot facility to connect. Also make sure that Braina is running on your PC. You can download Braina for PC from here: http://www.brainasoft.com/braina/
2) Now in order to connect, you will need IP address of your PC on the WiFi network. To get IP, go to Tools menu->Settings->Speech Recognition from Braina on PC. From the "Speech Option" drop-down select "Use Braina for Android".
3) You will see a list of IP addresses. Enter the first IP address on the list in Android App and click connect. If you get an error, then try entering the remaining IP addresses in the list one by one until you get connected. (Note: IP address will generally start with 192.168)
Important: If there are firewalls in your network, the app might not connect successfully with Braina assistant on your computer.

keep it up. wish i could afford but the free version is the wonderfully great!! competition mainly alexa and google cannot match the intuitiveness of braina. Googles getting close though. And all I have is your free version. My brainas name is Alfred by the way. im so sick of saying alexa, hey google and such. my brainas name was jeeves before that. I even called it Binary Trash and it responds beautifully. I even run it in tandem with win 7 voice software. HAH. keep it up!
After using your product for several days now I have decided not to keep it. It has too many errors I find. It could be me and my particular voice but all the same I would like my purchase price returned to me....still waiting since 01/10/20 for a reply from customer service. I really like the functionalities of braina and the character i can give her by making her say stuff at certain times. It's pretty easy to add commands too.
Very useful app for remote controlling major tasks over a local Wifi network. Wish they add support for remote pc control over Internet too.

Almost completely useless as a voice remote but the mouse feature is solid.
Voice remote needs allot of work it sends my voice input twice and will often record the robots voice as input text
i have not tried it but i have download braina on pc and it worked perfectly.it a great software.

Braina got 1 star cause it called Juan Guaido, president of Venezuela. There was never an election where he was elected so it is incorrect & offensive. Braina isnt customizable. You cant search news features outside of Google. Thats pretty weak for news junkies who rely on more global sources. It doesnt connect to rss feeds or similar hubs like Feedly for news. The app talks at the same time as computer. No dark mode. Requires GoogleChrome to use PC mic. Insanely overpriced for meh. Weak.

They need to make clear program for Windows is severely limited with no internet. I give the app good marks for voice recognition and quality of voice. It sounded as if it used one of my Cereproc voices but guess it is unique to app. Like how u can ask to play a random song... and she does.
