Adding my negative experience to the pile. I recently signed up with a delivery service that uses branch for payouts. I am unable to sign up and create my payment account because the app is not reading the link they sent me properly. I am updated to the latest version and I've cleared cache, forced stop etc and it refuses to work. I am not impressed with this at all and will be avoiding any job opportunities that use branch.

Very glitchy. Tedious. Constant updates but never improves. Usually take 5 attempts and 2 to 3 forced stops to make a transfer. Constant errors but the error is jiberish so you don't know what the problem is. I wish Walmart did not use the pay method. Just another bs headache from the world's biggest bs headache factory

This app is frustrating. I've tried to connect 2 bank accounts to allow me to transfer money in or out of this wallet and it gives "incorrect account number" no matter which financial institution I use. I called my financial institution directly, even went into a local office for help and nothing worked. Frustrating. I've spent hours trying different things. Unsuccessful. Looks like the only way to add or remove is via cash thru something like Walgreens (for a fee), or via ATM, which probably...

Love this app.. other than the who do you work for glitch at the opening of the app sometimes, I just hit skip and it fixes itself. It lays out my money for me shows how I spend and where. Keeps things nice and tidy. I can in 1 click see my cash flow and separate income from expenditures. Really nice work.

I love branch. I can access my money anytime I need it. I get my paycheck through branch as well. I can use my card almost anywhere. The only features I wish they had is collecting money from Cash app. Otherwise it's great!

Very useful to help you out of a tight spot! Be aware that anytime you have cash in your account, they will attempt to debit that amount at ANY time. If for example you deposit cash to take care of a bill, they can and will attempt the payback at any time, not just as is indicated as when they will pull. For instance, a deposit occurs 3 days before is stated, they will attempt withdrawal.

I can't believe this app is even legal. It's that bad. I can't even log in now to get my own money. Not to mention even I tried to transfer before then and received nothing but errors. No number to call.. Worst app I ever used.

Super easy, super fast. UPDATE: 12/30/21, I've been using them for about a year and a half and was very pleased. Over the last six months or so it has become nearly useless. I have to reconnect my bank repeatedly, and when I do, it says it doesn't recognize my pay cycle. I go through the process of answering those questions, only to cycle back to the same message. My pay cycle has been the same for 8 years. Every time I message support I get some b.s. answer.

After 2 or 3 years, branch decided to drop me. Always paid them back, never gave them an issue, and I even have a debit card with them. Why? In a statement they have me they said they were "moving forward" With what? Don't ever use this app unless you want to be treated like a credit risk. I've had the same job for 22 years and never missed a payment, but apparently that's not good enough for branch. The debit card I have with them is totally useless now. Take my advice, don't be a victim.

As of 2 updates ago, all i get is green screen with leaf.. will go no further, have tried all the usual tricks, no changes have been done to my device either. —>Annoyed

customer service support was awesome. I was a little uneasy about at first because I didn't know anything about this app. But with their support along with my HR, the transition of me able to get my paycheck on time made it really simple and I felt at ease. Transferring my money from the app to my bank took about 2 business days but it was there quicker than waiting for a live check

Good budget tool and good for a little help till payday. Updated year later...excellent customer service, great for handling my finances, extremely secure with notifications of every purchase or charge, and would recommend this app to anyone. Update still using service and still very satisfied

Used this app for a year consistently using the instant cash feature and all of a sudden have a big issue with taking advances out and also the limit changed of how much I can take out. An no, my income or consistency of payments into my account hasn't changed or other factors. The system has bugs that need to be worked out by their techs. Emailed customer support and just getting scripted generic responses from their staff. Not even looking into the issue or checking it as far as I know.

Horrible!! Problem after Problem after Problem. I had no issue getting an advance a week ago. Now suddenly there's issues with my debit card. Nothing has changed. Customer service takes FOREVER to respond. I do NOT recommend! ***UPDATE****My account says I am eligible to take out advances. I keep getting recurrent external debit card error message. Nothing has changed and I have always successfully paid back my advances. This app has too many glitches. Not worth the frustration.

They need to change their slogan to nothing but wait pay. On the day I'm supposed to get paid they constantly have a message up saying your pay may be delayed! so much for no wait pay. I hate having to have this app or this account just to drive for spark. Honestly I see no benefit to using the app so far

Here I am for the 4th time waiting for multiple extra weeks to get paid. This time I've exchanged emails with 7 people (so far) at Branch and am still stuck. Branch doesn't seem to understand the concept of not being able to sign in with a phone number I no longer have (they want to send a verification code to said number). Forget trying to call them. They don't answer their phones. I don't understand why any company would use these boneheads.

It has been more than 72 hours since they put 2 holds on transactions I cancelled at $150 each! They keep telling me I have to have proof of the declined or completed transaction. How??? I CANCELLED THEM! It was at the gas station.

I have had constant issues out of this app regarding linking my debit card. Support has been rough the last few times I had to change my information. After calling today to once again get support for a feature they show I can do through the app, but can't, I call the support number and I am left with a voicemail. Never have I ever had to go through a business with a voicemail, and secondly I cannot leave a voicemail due to it being full. I have money sitting here unable to be moved. Pretty sad.

Money was deposited into this account and it's been days and still not there. No one will get back to me either. I've emailed, did support tickets and left messages. No response. Phone just puts you on hold for 20 minutes then goes to a voicemail

This app is the worse. Today, the app has crashed allday. Then it forced me to do an update; wouldn't you know, the update has been catastrophic!!!! Individuals rely on app to be able to access their funds. This has just been terrible and then you're not able to speak with anyone, nor, have they sent any type of communication as to what the issue may be 👎👎👎

I love branch, they just helped me out when I sincerely needed it, I didn't know how I was going to get gas today, and it just popped up, my advance!! I love it and would recommend it to anyone!!

Fees are too high for a lousy experience just to get MY money the try and force people to et your Branch card. I would like ALL the money I earned, not pay loanshark rates to get it!

Have had my money held up multiple times due to the app crashing. If you call in, it takes them forever to answer and you get the basic " we're working on it". And you cant contact them through the app when it's down. All of my tips are put on this card, not by choice. Im a delivery driver and I've had to miss work because I wasn't able to access my money to get the gas needed for my shift. Wouldn't recommend using this for anyone.
