Recently bugged by 1 serious issue, it's either stopped loading before a fight or after. It happened on and off, I has been switching from WiFi and home network but still the same, so I guess it's not an issue of internet connection. Right now the update is simply not interesting. Vampire castle is great but there's no follow up for this game. Unfortunately, I'll be taking my time off this game until it's ready again. This WAS a great game.
Fun little battle/building game. Wondering if they're working on an expansion. Other than that, I'm really enjoying it. Edited: There is no indication that they are working on any update/expansion. That's sad, because it really is a cool little game. But once you reach the castle level cap, there's nothing else to keep it interesting, so everyone quits. 🥺
really loving the game and its challenges!!! unfortunately, i cant play it anymore. the initial title comes up for the production of the game, it then goes to a black screen and wont leave from it. ive tried closing it down, restarting my phone, reinstalling it, and also just lightly whispering sweet things to it to turn it on. nothing seems to be working. so i can no longer play it, even though i would very much like to. all day.
Pros:Loading is really fast unlike other slow war games,there is no need to pay in order to enjoy yourself to the fullest but however you need to pay if you want to be on top of rankings which is totally optional. Cons:it lags alot when you battle,hard to use skill and spells in time and you waste at least 2 seconds.
updated review after weeks of inability to play. So I got the most recent update and instead of the screen just hanging forever, it had a loading screen and got stuck at 5%. This game is one of two or three that seem to have issues with my Comcast internet connection. I popped onto my AT&T service and the game was able to load. I think the problem was that there was no loading screen for the last three or four updates and so I was never able to see that anything was happening.
Hi, I'm really enjoying the game. Can't seem to put it down for some reason😁 maybe I'm a bit addicted. I've realized that I can't go on exhibitions or use the arena. I select an oppent and it loads to 3% then does nothing. I hope you can fix it because I don't want to stop playing cause I'm missing out on rewards and a main mechanism of the game
Was a great game, but latest update really screwed it up, made it more spender friendly. You have to pay big bux for 2nd level Treasury event, constantly screwing with hero and troop power so it can screw up your build. New mandatory chat window crowds an already tight window. War matchups not fixed. Like Harry Potter, what was once fun and relaxing is becoming frustrating and over complicated
This is a very well designed game and graphically stunning. I couldn't help feel like it was designed for younger children though as it is very cartoonish and takes you through each stage of the tutorial step by step. Not bad but probably best for an 8 year old.
Really great game and I would definitely recommend it! It is a nice tactical city building game that has enough built-in help to get you started and get you on your way without really feeling that the tutorial is really shoved in your face. The reason I haven't given 5 stars is that the game sometimes feels quite laggy on my phone (Wileyfox Swift 2X ) and then you have to wait for animations to load or they look stuttery.
The artwork and animations are beautiful, plenty of character in everything. The tutorial wasn't overwhelming and introduced different mechanics over a good amount of time. The menu systems are well laid out with a solid UX and feedback to keep the players tapping!
Ive been playing for a few monthes. About to run out of stuff to do... Can't build my alliance with new people except for alt accounts or basically players that want to start over bc it's easy and there's stuff to do cheaply. Make it harder for players to start over. Maybe a must to upgrade a structure other than your hero player lvl and castle. Also make it to were leaders officers and captains be able to invite players without an alliance. Fix replay. It starts after the battle has started.
Great initial experience, however I do hope for the devs including a higher framerate mode, since currently the game is a little choppy. It's not a device issue, as my device is quite strong, so I believe that's the way the app runs. High hopes for this, let's see how it goes!
The game is good, but not what I'm looking for, it's missing the big features I was looking for like in most castle building games. There's no invading castles or being able to see where anyone else's castle is. You can only fight with armies and I dont think you actually ever lose any troops. Either than that this game has or have had alot of potential.
the game is meh at best, the main problem is the ads lie completely. on top of that the game play is very slow, except the battles which are the fun part. even for small upgrades it all takes 5/10 minutes and you can only build one thing at a time.
Game freezes either before or after a battle. Currently unplayable. Pity, as it has been great fun up until now. Edit: Uninstalled the game, restarted my phone and then reinstalled. Been a few days and no problems, so seemed to have solved the issue.
Really a terrific game. Developers have done a wonderful job, and are very generous (i.e., you DO NOT need to pay to win). Always something to do, awesome (recent) update, many events and rewards, just all together a fun, immersive game that will have your attention for a long time to come. Really worthy of a 10 star review, were it possible! Amazing work all. Truly a terrific game!
Good job guys! This is maybe your best game. Good graphics, mechanics and beautyful cheracters. pls consider optimizing it better in the future patches. Maybe an option to change between medium and high graphics to decrease lag and do something for the battery draining. Othereise... awesome game.
Great game so far. Good fighting sensation, lots of things to do. Casual enough to play, but i do hope there is option to relocated built buildings and turn the buildings for space saving. Besides the ones which are pre-set.
The amount of storage space this game takes up in completing ridiculous. I've played games with far better graphics and motion that take up a fraction of this games required space. In order to do the mandatory update (it is impossible to refuse to update snd still play) I had to uninstall things I actually enjoy using. The reward I'm getting for completing part of this game better be worth it because this game itself certainly isn't!
50/50 I love the game it's amusing and easy to understand and play... but it has an audio bug and server connection issue... as in the audio gets fuzzy like a snowy tv channel and agressivly gets worse until you literally can't understand what's being said and the server times out in 3 seconds of loading the game... but I love the game once it's connected and the audio isn't bugging out... 5 stars once those are fixed...
Good to start with but gets very boring fast. Nothing really to do that engages you after lv45. No reql new enemies or not enough choice in battles. Most the time is spent crafting items for ship amd side missions. We need more enemies and bosses to fight more often.
pay to win at the beginning everything seemed like nothing until when you hit the 50 and above. Building are way to long, speed ups for building are rare and hard to get regular, i grinded in this game every way shape and form still it doesn't have an effect i finish all events and missions. in the end you will need to buy packs because everyone that pays is always multiple steps ahead of you. i quited this game at level 60. Don't play unless you are going to pay money
pretty decent game but after playing a few hours and doing decent progress found that on the rankings people are like level 80 or 100. No new players are going to be able to get anywhere now being so far behind. play if you just like the game at least try it but if you like to get involved in the competitive side short of frequent new servers you can't do a while lot anymore
Game is very average for a mobile game. Optimization is the worst aspect. I have a old note 4, but it's able to run games that have 10x the graphical fidelity and scale as this game without issue. Near impossible to use spells in battle. That is, if it even registers the input at all. There's timers on everything, and it's near impossible to get by without spending a lot if you want to compete. Bland heroes, little variety of units, and low customization options. Cool concept, bad execution
