This game is absolutely incredible. I've played it many many times before but it disappeared off the market...now it's back you have to pay some BS monthly subscription to play anything past the first level...I would happily pay for this game again with a one off purchase. but there is no way I'm paying a fiver a month just to play your one good game! Bring back the one off payment for the full game and I guarantee you will sell it but nobody is going to pay a monthly fee!
The game itself seems like its incredibly well made and fun but unfortunately I don't really have much experience seeing as there is only one short mission available to play out of almost a hundred others. The paywall is VERY expensive, 4.99 *per month*. You can stream millions of movies for that price. I'd be way more likely to buy the game if it was a single payment and if the developers weren't so sneaky about it.
You can only play the tutorial mission, after that you have to subscribe to their club which requires a monthly payment, it will not let you play another mission untill you subscribe I've tried many ways. When you hit the close button on the pop-up it closes but brings you back to the screen you were on before and when you press play mission again the same pop-up comes up again. The gameplay seemed good in the tutorial but I'm not paying for something that I'm not certain for yet. Please fixthis
When I first started the game I thought this was going to be a train wreck but I started up my first mission and I was addicted immediately, minor annoyance that I had was that you can only play the first country for free, but I got over that quickly. The game requires actual thinking to win. for example: do I let these two in, or should I wait for the other two to get to the other door, and then weigh out the pros and cons. Also, I've noticed that the operators do a 7836° no scope sometimes.
Great game and very fun to play and plan tactics. A lot of equipment and customizing to play with however, the game falls short by requiring a subscription to unlock the full game and a lot of other games that don't seem that interesting. I'd be okay with it if you could just buy the game or make it truly free with some micro transactions. Paying $5 dollars a month for a mobile game seems ridiculous, but that could just be me being cheap
I was so happy to see this game come back but having to play it in 10 minute increments like an arcade is disappointing. They do offer to unlock the whole game for free if you made a purchase in game in the past, which is great, the issue is they require evidence of a purchase. So if you played this game 4 plus years ago and don't have a proof of purchase, you're out of luck and have to play with tokens or pay a subscription fee.
Would give it 5 stars but the subscription to unlock everything is bogus! 4.99 a month!? Guys just add more to the game and have the ppl decide if its willing to buy..either special skins or special weaponry or even add more maps and tack on a price for that. Im impressed with the game play awesome job! But come up with a better way to make the money.
I recall a few years ago the game itself being free-to-play up until certain expansions and missions. I had downloaded this again hoping even if I had to pay subscription for the complete game (with expansions), that perhaps the original free missions would be accessible. It's unfortunate current management has applied their pay wall to what were once free missions. Game has great potential, would be willing to pay the fee perhaps if at least the original free missions were available.
Huge Pay wall. The game itself is extremely fun and well made, and I understand that with free games, there has to be a way to monetize it. I get that. However you are given basically one mission out of tons, and the only way to play any more, is subscribe to their gaming service. I would prefer you just set this game as a paid game, it would get a heck of a lot less misleading than this.
Oh my lord. Why a monthly subscription?! I got a sale on Steam for Breach and Clear, and I save a whole ton more money, it has more features, and all out, the PC version is still king. This is so sad. "Pay for a monthly subscription to continue paying." No! Just let me play the game. Do not install, just get the one on Steam and save more money.
I bought this game a few years ago and I still really enjoy it. Only problem is that it's now only available to new players under a subscription based agreement. This game would easily be worth 10 or 15 bucks/ plus the costs for extra dlc...but no way in heck should it.... Or any game be subscription/reoccurring charges based... Seriously unreasonable
Alright, so you guys want to up the free to play experience? Unlock the entire Kabul mission set. That way people really get a taste for the game instead of one map over and over. It might pull people in to actually paying the money. Now I know you guys got the 1st month free stuff but that doesn't always hit for some people as a good way to try something. It makes them feel more or so like they are gonna be leached for one game. I like it tho, game freezes when I try and change character names
I previously purchased this game years ago and was thrilled when it came back into the store! If you owned it before just fill out their form and submit a screenshot of your purchase. They didn't get back to me via email but they did unlock the game for me. This doesn't include their new DLC though just FYI. It only includes what you bought in the base game.
Very sad ro see the in game purchases, I thought it would be the extra stuff you have to purchase. I was very wrong it's most of the maps. Honestly my favorite mobile game, could use a touch up and some other tweaks.
I need to make one thing clear: This one star review is NOT for the game, I absolutely loved it when I played it years ago, and still is when I tired it today. But they put a SUBSCRIPTION ON THE GAME. What the hell?! There was no subscription back then, it was a SINGLE purchase with in-app stuff and DLC. And I've seen the owner say "People who purchased it can get it back", which is good, but this shouldn't be a thing IN THE FIRST PLACE. Thank you for ruining one of my favorites.
Played this game a year and half ago with the game club free trial. It's honestly an amazing game. But yes, as other reviews have mentioned you have to pay a monthly subscription to game club to play this game. It's really stupid, especially since this is the only good game they offer. You should never have to pay a sub for a non-mmo. It's embarrassing, give us option to buy this outright. I'd pay $10 for it.
I paid for this game in full plus dlc's a few years ago. I'm playing it again now and now I can't play more than first mission. I keep getting asked to subscribe and can't progress. I've sent 2 emails with proof of my full purchases and have now waited a week and no response. I think this game is one of the best ever made but now the money I spent on is worthless as they are pay wall blocking for something I've already paid for
It has a potential to be a great game, but there's only one playable map, the rest you have to pay for to play, I'd rather take 20 pop-up ads and at least be able to play the game, but now I'm stuck on one map and a pay to play barrier on the rest, rather ridiculous. Either give the game a price and let's buy it in order to play it, instead of teasing us with a single free map and then leaving us hanginf
Great game! TERRIBLE monetary system. You have to pay $5/month to play. I'd pay $10-$20 for this game but I'm not doing a subscription service. "You'll own nothing and be happy". Uninstall this game until they change their model.
Extremely fun game but you only get 3 missions in the same handful of rooms before slamming into a pay wall. I would've happily paid $5 for the whole game but $5 a month to keep your access to the game is a bit much for me. EDIT: I'm well aware of the "try before you buy" policy that you keep copy and pasting on everybody's review. At the end of the month, you're still asking for $5 a month to keep access to the game.
Im not sure but I took the screen shot and clicked claim previous purchase and still haven't had a response. It might be wise to choose your words better as it states after submitting the photo and email; "thank you, we'll be in contact with the provided email shortly." Shortly to me and the rest of the world is well under 24 hrs. Great game though, I'm just hoping I can get my game back that I've supported in numerous platforms.
Absolute buggy mess cant even get the team and character selection to work right to start the game. This used to be good waaay back in the day when i first bought it. Then it got put behind some service or pay wall i dont even know it's all a mess and ridiculous. What ever happened to this game and bmjust a straightforward, solid strategy game that it once was?
So happy I finally remembered the name of this game. Fuming you want me to pay a monthly fee. You're a mobile game, act like one. I don't want access to all the games in the library, I just want this one. I've emailed support but not holding my breath, probably be uninstalling. Update- emailed support and got nowhere, uninstalled. So disappointing.
You can only do a single level and then you have to PAY A MONTHLY SUBSCRIPTION (sub) TO EVEN PLAY IT. I am fine with a one time fee for a game but not a sub. What they are hoping is you'll pay the first time and just forget so they can charge you forever, even if they don't update the game. It was a great but this sub ruined it. This is my only review and I'm saying something cause this a ridiculous way to have a game. There are other ways to have a sub that still can make the game playable.
It's been 7 years since this game existed, almost no one plays it, and you're still trying to profit off it? The original game was much cheaper than this new membership stuff. I would rather you make me watch an ad after every game then subscribe to a membership I won't use. EDIT - I appreciate the fact they honour old purchases and made it super easy to do so. Some things still seem locked though. Bumped to three stars.
