Breath Ball: The Stress Relief Breathing Exercise.

Now you can relieve stress and anxiety, soothe the symptoms of COPD and Asthma, lower high blood pressure and overcome sleeplessness with four easy breathing exercises. What might sound too simple to be true, is actually based on latest scientific research and is used to treat patients at rehab facilities and in clinical environments. So let's take a closer look at Breath Ball's breathing exercises and what they can do for you:

Breath Ball provides breathing exercises for these four use cases:

⭐️ The cardiac coherence breathing exercise is used to relieve stress and anxiety. It is thought to patients at rehab and bio-feedback trainings to help them get calm and relax.

⭐️ The COPD foundation’s recommended breathing technique helps to relieve the
symptoms of Asthma and COPD.

⭐️ Slow paced breathing is a complementary treatment against hypertension (high blood pressure). It goes back to Prof. Dr. Loew and is commonly used in clinical environments.

⭐️ Dr. Andrew Weil’s famous 4:7:8 breathing technique is used to get calm to fall asleep.

Each of these breathing exercises comes with a short tutorial that will get you started in less than two minutes. Beside that you can create your own breathing exercises; something yoga and pranayama coaches enjoy a lot.

Beautiful app....must have for anyone who wants to learn power of breath - something which everyone has access to but have forgotten how to breathe right. Just one request - I have been using the app regularly for more than 2 years. Please enable the app to work in screen off/lock mode also... Sometimes while walking or working I want to maintain the rhythm without draining too much battery

Very good app! 5 stars if the app can go in the background without turning off the app. Can't do that on Android. I like having it on softly much of the day and would like to be able to turn off the screen. Night mode is fine, but not off.

I like this app a lot but it's not fully developed. I would not invest in the premium version yet as the free version has plenty of glitches. I find it helpful and I think it has a great Foundation to be a frontrunner. I specifically like the breathing bar although only comes with premium. I like being able to change the colors making it easier on my eyes and less stressful to use. I also like the defined breathing exercises for Sleep stress COPD excetera. But the app needs work.

Visual of ball and adjustment of timing is great. But the audio glitches that make a crackling sound every time the audio cue happens makes this app unusable with the sound on. Yes, you can just turn the audio guide off, but the audio guide, without the glitches, would really add to the meditative experience and would allow you to not have to be looking at the ball 100% of the time.

so far i love it, have tried the free version. however i have one major complaint. ill be using this app throughout the day to help me deal with pain and Anxiety, but especially at night to help relax and fall asleep. when the background music is on, and the breathing session ends, the music and screen remains on. thus, i am later woken up and have to turn this off. i would far prefer that the music ends when the breathing session ends so if i fall asleep i dont wake up later and waste battery

Work is stressful, my bp has soared, I struggle to get a good night's sleep. This app has helped. The breathing exercises are effective. The best part – clean interface, user-friendly, clear instructions, informative, practical, enough variety for mainstream needs in this area. I am really happy to have found this app (so thank you!) and have recommended it to family and friends.

EXACTLY what I was looking for. I know about meditation & stuff, I just wanted a breathing tool like the robot in Woebot, but without having a conversation first. I'm using the free version, but I looked at the subscription price, and it's far more reasonable than the fancy meditation apps that are listed as editor's choice. I can stop downloading and uninstalling now!

No bloat and that's how I like it. Has exactly the amount of functionality and design features I need. My favorite is the line graph representing breathing in and out, because I can predict when the next inhale/exhale will happen. Wish there were more sound options!

Awesome customisable app, only thing missing is dark mode and import own background sounds in case one doesn't like the ones there/for variety.Maybe the white screen should have some pastel colours with shades changing as the ball moves? Upon completion of a longer time maybe an encouraging message like "well done or you've improved " to encourage people to return to the app? So good I recommended it to a friend who enjoys it :D thank you so much makers of this app !!😊 No account needed, yay !

This app is perfect for my needs. It has everything I want for relaxing my sympathetic system with a clean and easy to navigate interface. It has useful present breathing patterns, but you can also create your custom ones. I would highly recommend it.

This app has potential, but presently has annoying glitches: 1) has several audible glitches in the audio (inhale and exhale cues), 2) no delayed start is available, 3) always asks confirmation before exiting (it should not do this unkess you are in the middle of a session. It should also provide the option to turn this confirmation off.)

I've honestly only started using this app because for my mindfulness module at universitu I was given homework to do 10 minutes of breathing exercises every day for 2 weeks. However, this has helped me so much. I am very stressed because of my course currently, which affects my sleep. But since I started using the app, I fall asleep faster and wake up feeling rested even if I only slept 6 hours. I definitely recommend it!

Great app so far, very easy to use and has the perfect sound as an audio guide so you can just sit back, put your phone down and just breathe. Would be great if there was an audio counting the seconds as well.

It's a great app however I would like to be able to change the cardiac breathing rhythm by 0.1 sec increments. For example instead of doing a 5-0-5-0 interval, I would like to be able to do 4.8-0-4.8-0 interval.

Got it for Heart rate variability (HVR) exercise and to get into coherence. It's 5 seconds IN, 5 seconds OUT. There is one thing missing, there should be circles showing where the ball will stop, this way you would take complete breath.

This is the perfect fully customizable relaxation breathing tool. You can even create a custom breathing routine with 7 second (adjustable) holds which many recommend for best oxygen absorbs ion. Love it. Now if I use it before each stressful meeting, I should be good to go!

this truly does help with my anxiety. the problem with me was- I wanted my anxiety to go away so badly, but I didnt explore the options I had all around me to help. I thought nothing would work and that I had to find a way to deal with it myself. To everyone reading this- there is NO shame in looking for things such as this app to support you. sometimes love and encouraging words arent enough. and that sounds so bad but true.

I really like the way the breath ball helps you regulate your deep breathing exercises. I think you need to add a simple, how many times you use the app or the breath ball. Either by the week or by the minutes but it's a really good app I really like it

This has a really nice interface, and I like that it's customizable. But it seems to have an auto rotate feature that you can't turn off. And that really gets in the way of my relaxation. I would like to be able to turn auto rotate off.

I have pulmonary hypertension. The exercises are excellent. Since I've been using the app, I've had fewer instances of breathlessness and generally far fewer palpitations.

A. G. u. Dec 3, 2019

I'm enjoying the app. I'm using it mainly for stress relief and it is helping me. Simple and easy to use. It's nice that you can add the relaxing sounds and change the color of the ball and background color too.

This is an awesome breath training app. I'm going to use it to teach my kids conscious breath control. the app came loaded with two different pre-selected breathing rhythms, and I could easily set up my own breathing rhythm.

Eli. A. Jul 16, 2020

It's nice, but would be cool to have it work In a locked screen mode, just using sound. Also when I touch the screen during the exercise its immediately go to "stop/continue" menu.

Great cardio/breathing relxation app. Customisable settings allow a personalised experience. Built in timer is brilliant for allocating available time. Soft tones are conducive to app purpose, unlike the harsh gongs of other apps.

Joe. D. Sep 26, 2020

This is the perfect mediation or breathing app. It has a user friendly simply design, and the content is well explained; most importantly it works and it's backed by real science.

K. Jun 24, 2020

I can't even use this app because even though I have screen orientation lock on, the app screen flips orientation on its own. I emailed the developer, but they said there was nothing they could do.
