The problem is that the biofeedback mode is utterly useless because the heart rate measurements via the camera are so unreliable and noisy. Other apps manage to do it perfectly fine so I can only conclude that the developers are either incompetent or just don't care. Either way, a waste of my money.
Beautiful breathing app with nice visuals and audio options. Unfortunately I wanted to use it for the biofeedback but my finger overheats quickly. Would definitely buy if you add support for bluetooth pulse oximeter device.
Has all the required settings for HRV biofeedback resonance breath training, including decimal accuracy for inhale, exhale, pause lengths. Sounds are relaxing unlike other apps. Visual cue is relaxing. Timer and pause button. Well done!
This app is sketchy. It gave me no instructions on how to use the biofeedback mode only demanding I give permission to let the app use my camera to take pictures. Also, as other reviewers have noted, it's not free, but the app also won't tell you how much it is, requesting I enter my credit card without saying how much they will be charging or whether it's a one-time charge or monthly. No thanks. Uninstalled. Response to developer: My review stands. When I watched the tutorial it only provided information for the basic function. It didn't say anything about how the biofeedback works. When I clicked the link to buy the app I was not provided with an amount the app would cost. Even if this is an error on the Google Play store, you should reveal to users yourself on your app how much it costs to buy the app and whether or not that charge is one-time or monthly.
I like the simple mode and find it helps calm an relax. Unfortunately cannot get the resonance measurement above 20% at any point - not sure if this is my lack of breath ontrol, a problem with the app or my phone.
Lovely interface, great sounds, very relaxing. The app would be improved if the the hold on inhale were silent, similar to the rest on exhale.
Nice application, unfortunately I can't move over 40% in resonance mode. I tried for 20 minutes without a break with no success. Update. Got help from developers. Everything is fine now
Love the app looks cool works well, I feel better. Seeing the brain battery charging is very motivating. But can we get a watch an ad for a free session for cheapskates like me?
Really enjoyed it when it worked. I couldn't get consistent enough HRV readings though. I'll try it out again once I upgrade my phone/camera
I really like the app, but am hoping there is a users guide to help me improve my resonancy scores.
It's great. However, I do not believe the vibrating breath guidance feature is working.
Breathing timer just doesn't work. Same pace <10s, no matter what pace I set for breath.
Great app, but would be better with BLE heart rate devices like Polar H7, H10 or pulse oximeter.
Biofeedback resonance is not working for me. Galaxy s9+.
Great app, fun and very intuitive!
Is wonderful, paces breathing relaxes heart muscles. Check blood pressure after 15 min. session you will be astonished. I use this and my crushed garlic bulb in lemon juice everyday.
Biofeedback will not work. Useless for biofeedback.
Can't use this app anymore unless I pay money. Very unfortunate.
Good app, thanks! :)
When you install the app you find out it's not free, only a free trial. While I do appreciate the free trial of a paid app, the listing is misleading. And then when I kept trying to use the biofeedback mode, it read it as a stop of session instead, I couldn't get the tutorial to load up again, so I used up all my last 5 free trials right in a row without being able to see if it would work for me. update: I ended up buying this app. Still exploring if it has the features I need.
Currently, the only app I see that adjusts breathing cues based on biofeedback, and it works great to lower my heartrate! 2 recommended changes: allow app to run with audio when screen is off, and fix spelling of 'deafult' to 'default' under breath pattern menu.
I've tried several optimal breathing apps and this is the first one that met my needs. The combo of visual and auditory feedback to guide the breath is impressive.
I really like this app when it works, but it's got some bugs that make biofeedback mode unusable sometimes, and that makes me question it's accuracy all of the time. Sometimes when it detects my heart rate, it seems accurate, but sometimes the HR it reports is WAY OFF. Example: it says my HR is fluctuating between 40 and 55 but it's really closer to 80. Simple mode is great.
