I ended up uninstalling this all. The advertisement is aggressive, which does not allow you to close the ads that come.before the timer starts. Highly disturbing my coffee making routine.
(edit: 1/13/22 app issue has been resolved. Developer fixed the issue very quickly and app is working again!) I loved this app on my older pixel, but won't install on my new pixel pro. Please fix. (4 stars cause its an amazing app and developer replied saying issue is know and being worked on, thank you!)
A very useful and eye-catching application. But there is a problem with scaling. After adjusting the amount of brewing, starting ("start" button) and returning to the recipe, the multiplier is reset but the amount of grain and water is not. And when you scale again ... it's terrible :)
Great App, one of if not even the best Brew Timing app with great functionality, customizability and large database of (user) pre-defined methods. Developer very helpful and responsive!
Great app... But why can you only go forward in steps and not backward, and why can you just skip directly to a step rather than skipping thru it sequentially?
I like this app, even paid for it. Clean interface and easy to use timer. I also like the ability to switch units of measure. I love all the different brewing options. I wish it had a clear way to let me know what version I'm using and an easy update option.
I like it! Been using for 3 weekends now. Only feedback would be to have an option in the brew adjustment settings to be able tochange the amount of coffee weight. Right now, it only allows you to adjust the water amount. This would be a great update to the app, since my coffee grinder is not consistent with the amount of grams it puts out. I often have to adjust from 17 to 20 g of coffee. But I have to guess at this as the app only allows me to adjust the milliliters of water at the moment. 😁
Great app. Got it to use with Chemex. I like that the recipes are scaled but when making other than the recommended amount (for example half or double the recipe) the pouring notes still give the hint to add water until x g referring to the full recipe. Have to write down the amounts before starting because too much going on when pouring and watching the scale to add another 187 g of water to the first amount, etc.
Good app, ads when opening the instructions is annoying but the timer there isn't great anyway so reading the recipe is fine. Selection of devices is good but recipe selection is kinda limited More instruction on grind setting would be helpful, like what medium fine actually means(more or less fine than table salt?) Very useful app to use for reference or as a collection of recipes but not great for actually using to brew
Getting a timed-skip ad before every brew, while im timing the process, dealing with boiling water, etc, is very user unfriendly. Please move them somewhere else, or make them immediately skippable. I don't mind paying to remove ads (and I do for most apps I use) but in this apps case, the ads are so aggressive that it just puts me off that idea.
Interesting tool. The various methods provide plenty of options, which is good whenever I want to try something knew. A problem, however, is that I can't adjust the grind size to a specific number; I can only slide it over and hope it lands on a size close to amount of coffee I wish to drink. Otherwise, a very nice app. And I can even add my own brew methods! Very interesting!
It's a great app that I was happy to support by removing ads. Some brewer options are missing. For example, the Origami dripper isn't available. I have to search for it in the V60 recipes. Also, it would be nice to have the default recipes be all recipes if no favourites.
Nice app but I would like a setting to display water in either ml or "ounces". Also, "Adjust Brew Amount" would be nice if it had a setting to calculate based on number of desired cups without having to do manual calculations for those times you don't want to make a full pot. Those 2 would make this a 5 star rating.
The best coffee brewing app I have tried. I think the accumulated water volume should be fixed not animated, or at least let it shows to prevent over pouring. And the coffee ground weight should be more adjustable, I think the steps of the recipe can be calculated easily from it. Edit: thx for replying quickly. I see it now on the bottom-right side of the animation bar. So sorry for not noticing this. I think the Chan's V60 recipe is actually from Matt Perger's recipe the 2012 WBC Champion

Hi, really like your app, only one thing would be great is to have a different font color for the displayed time and unit of measure, I find the yellow very hard to read. Will be 5 stars if that could be fixed, especially for paid app.
Have always loved using your app but now I can't update it since the Android 12 update. It keeps saying that it can't be updated. I have the latest version of the play store and I've done all the steps recommended to resolve the issue but it hasn't. How do I contact you guys?
I've used this app for a while now and I can't imagine not using it now. Keeping a notepad to tinker with my methods is annoying, so this is perfect. And now the database has grown to the point where exploring new recipes is possible. Thank you to any users by the way who specify what coffee they like to use.
great app. please update to allow the user to enter a custom amount of coffee. I don't always want to use 40g of coffee or half the recipe (20g). many times I am wanting to use something I can't adjust to so I ignore many recipes. the app is a bit limited in that regard.
Great app, great fun, but for me it really needs a lot more information on the grinding setting... "Fine/medium/course" is close to useless. Sure you can brew multiple times and dial it in but I'm not sure my body can tolerate dialing up my caffeine intake to more than a gram per day...
App works great. Does everything but pour the water for you. Support staff is excellent. Responded to my suggestion within hours. Implemented it within weeks. Highly recommend.
Great aesthetics, and everything works flawlessly. A huge number of preprogrammed recipes and adding your own is super easy. The only thing that could make it better is home screen widgets to jump to specific recipes you use the most, but that's clearly a nitpick on what is one of the best coffee timers in the app store.
