Expect to have to re-enter information multiple times when requesting jobs to be done. The app will loose details, images and videos as you move from screen to screen.
I avoid using this app as much as possible. Quotes look unprofessional and everyday I get spammed in emails and notifications for jobs I've already quoted or completed. On top of that I have to pay 4% on my work to Bricks and agents for providing a terrible app. At least if your going to charge small businesses make your app work properly and professional. I'd personally start the whole app again. Not surprised at how low the ratings are here with a very high number of 1 stars.
The App doesnt even let you sign in and tells you to use the web page ππ well done
App was working well up until the last update. Now it constantly crashes and clears my entered information as I'm drafting a post.
Tells me I need to update when I've literally just uninstalled and reinstalled it. Used to be an ok app I think. I only downloaded it because my property manager told me to.
Useless, doesn't let me enter a free text service type when creating a new job. Also FORCES you to take a photo before you even see the list of available service types, then only to realise the service I need is not listed. Uninstalled. Update: 10th November, just tried it again, and it still does not let me enter a service type which is not listed. Uninstalled again.
I avoid using it and print my jobs from the emails instead of opening the app as it is painful to navigate. I only open it to send my invoices and quotes. The βchatβ things seems to be all over the place and now just email the agent instead. The 4.4% adds cost to the job for the landlord. My invoices were cheaper before this app.
I'm a little concerned that I'm having to switch to this, so far much of your feedback is that you're unhelpful and difficult to use, and in one case you've blamed a 5yo phone for your app being a resource hog - if your app can't run on an older smart phone, that's you being classist. It's RENTERS that have to use this app - and most of us don't have the money to get a new phone every 3 years! Not looking forward to this transition at all! Rating you based on the way you respond in reviews. Poor
Good idea at first look....but does absolutely nothing for us as an operation. It just adds a cost for no discernable benefit...so I raise my price to cover the extra cost. Seems pointless...but that is from our perspective only, at this stage....time will tell . Ads a duplication of process. . Cost end user. . No benefit for "small beer" user. . Easy for agent . More process for end user Well, lets see after 3 months.
Finally I can log property problems to my property manager without a call or email. I have been waiting for 4 weeks and my property manager changed in that time so they had no idea about my property problems. I just put all my issues down on the app so they can get them all fixed was easy and quick. Hopefully with this app they will get them all done.
Look I'm already salty that I had to download this app because my property manager made me, but after only downloading it yesterday I'm already having to download a 70mb update just to open the damn thing Edit: after updating I'm also having to login again. I fail to see how this is easier to use than sending a 30 second email.
took a while to get used to all the changes, but after some "learn time" very easy to use. love the contact info and photo uploads . can be a bit slow to load sometimes.
Make sure to pass their 4.4% fee to every invoice onto the end client. As you have to add this fee to your invoice before sending it, you need to add extra. This app also duplicates processes for any tradesman/contractor so therefore expect more than their fee added on, to take into account more time just to complete a job.
Slow, unintuitive, clunky & with the bonus of rude (see response 4 example) , unhelpful support staff & unanswered privacy concerns galore. Interesting that they say in responses that they have 1000's of users each day yet only 5000+ downloads; Like a few things with this app, it doesnt add up. H UPDATE #2 the phone is fine, your $hitting software is the problem. Recommended specs?? #3 $99 phone & insults via another review? LOL. UR even more stupid than you appear. What an amature outfit.
App did not work at all, but after being contacted and after some troubleshooting by the team was resolved by a release to support older operating systems. Good support.
Not user friendly, very slow loading if it loads at all ,search feature only works accasionly, I get notifications for jobs already declined,try the chat button and app crashes I could go on all day. Bloody useless for a busy tradie
Terrible this app wants access to your entire phone an invasion of privacy . They want to access your contacts your media your photos your microphone . And more. Never heard of such a thing just to get maintenance done on a property rental .
It make life easy for my business. I can do everything from my phone now - no need to login to a computer. I would recommend this app as it helps us to get jobs done quickly and to get paid faster plus have had a lot of new work as well we wouldnt have otherwise gotten.
Forces you to update every time you use it, doesn't remind real estate so ive had stuff sitting there for literally months before, but forced to use it. Not super user friendly either
It keeps asking to update, but no new version availabke in Google Play. Unable to use. Update: Issue fixed. Appreciate the prompt response from the dev.
Constantly asks to update but then no update button on this page, very frustrating and your support staff are useless and judging by the responses from developers on here it is clear that being condescending to people who use your app is the only thing you can do
Edit: 1 - 4 stars. Got a follow up support call and fixed the password issue. Leaving a 4 star for now until I have fully tested the app.
The app states it requires an update but no update is available, making the app is unusable. Restarting and uninstalling do not fix the issue.
If I could rate th i s app lower I would what a cluster, and who needs to spend more time on administration as well as pay a % of income to do more work in the office or spend more time on the App not earning money.
I do not like it at all and impressed at how much we have to pay extra to use it and absorb the cost not easy to add invoices total waste of my time
I have tried to set up my account but it either does not accept my email address or if it does it wont accept my password Does anyone know how to fix this?
The app makes you pay for the privilege of an outside third party to get involved with your business for the low low price of 4%. It really doesn't make it any easier to send quotes and the only difference between using bricks and agent and quoting/invoicing directly is the quotes have to be sent through the app and they charge a percentage of invoices.
