I was able to connect my Samsung S8 when I first got my unit. Now when I open the app the brid blue screen comes for a second then it just goes black. I tried to setup another android phone and I cannot connect time out error. I emailed them i hope you all do the same a working application is essential to change modes and see air quality.
I have three Brid Air Cleaners and as far ac functionality of the unit itself, it's wonderful and does a great job. When I first received them, I had a terrible time with connecting wi-fi and using the App. Honestly, I gave up. Since them, many improvements have been made and I have recently gotten all three connected to wi-fi and working flawlessly. I'm happy but I wish this would have been the case when I first received it. Brid email customer support, although not the fastest in respdonding, has been thorough and great. Just FYI, only try to connect your Brid to 2.4 GHZ (no 5Ghz support in my experience) and makes sure, if you are using a VPN, turn it off! That was a big hang up for me and until I figured that out, I couldn't get them to connect. Major improvements in the app and connectivity over time. UPDATE 11/16/20: Hardware and air cleaning are EXCELLENT! The App (at least the Google Play Store/Android one) has had some issues in the past BUT has made great strides recently and is working so much better. Customer service is also great. Toto helped me figure out my problem (a bug in Android systems that is currently being fixed) and we got all three of my Brid's working over video chat. Thank you Toto!
I have 2 units & have been able to set them each up. They work independently & well with the app. Recently tho, I had to change my modem & my Brid control got totally goofed up. I struggled with the vague manual & online instructions. FINALLY I deleted everything & started over. They are finally set up again & working as they should. Currently I am very unhappy with their customer service via email. They have not responded to me at all. I figured this all out on my own with a lot of frustration!
There was a couple of hiccups during setup but once it is set it is working fine. A suggestion to tue developers though is that they should provide meaningful error messages rather than showing the exception error that normal users would not understand. Also a good update would be to allow users turn on a schedule where at a certain time the Brid would go automatically to Night mode at night and vice versa. Also a Google Assistant support would be cool yoo. Other than that, everything is cool.
First attempt I could connect to my brid in step 1 (it's ID matches the one in the manual's sticker), but it keeps rejecting the PIN in step 2. After restarting the app, it wouldn't even connect with the brid anymore. How can you mess up the OOB experience this badly? It is literally the users' first experience, first impression of the app and product. Please fix
Ditto with previous comment.... Unable to connect to device after update. This keeps happening as its the 5th time I have had to manually reset the device in order to reconnect. This is an annoying process as you lose all data in the attempt to reconnect the device again
Took a while to get it to even see the Brid, but now it gives an error when trying to connect - Error: Error Sorry, something went wrong when connecting your mobile to the brid network... which makes sense because at that point it's connected to the Brid WiFi - but that's connected to nothing.
Pretty interesting technology. Filter needs to be setup with 2.4 Ghz wifi. That is the only issue I had. Tech support handled my issues and got me connected with ease. Filter works great!!
I'm so glad that I've made the right choice to purchase my Brid through Indiegogo campaign few years back and been loving it since the first day! Just one small question: Is the statistics dashboard ever going to return? It was there in the v2 app version but gone in current version.
Location privileges are required for what? Even after a data clear cannot find my existing air purifiers. The error I receive is that I'm not connected to my home network which I quite clearly am when using the application. Also, how do I get back a light theme? This dark theme is difficult to interact with.
wouldn't connect (had time out errors), now it can't find my device at all. I followed all instructions and reset the Brid several times and it still can't find it.
Sometimes sees Brid, sometimes doessnt. 95% won't connect. Have to reinstall every other day and even then throws up connection errors.
Excellent Customer Service My Brid CO module were at fault, so opened a SR ticket.. The CS and engineering team responded quickly, They were able to shipe me the replacement and I do a self-repair of the product in a quick way. Need some simple electronics technique thou. Thank you.
Connected once, and when I left I could not reconnect. I've contacted support multiple times now but never resolved :(
Doesn't consistently connect, and isn't actively developed
connection needs to be reset every couple weeks. I tried both android and ios version.

What's the point of a app, if I can't even connect to the product?

Can not internet control and monitor.Do not show CO ppm level. This device do not filter dust pm2.5. Brid target is toxic gas but Hepa target is PM2.5

UPDATE: Was able to update the firmware and it connects to my phone well now. One thing I hope is added as a new feature in the next release is an option to turn off the light when in Smart and Boost modes. Currently it only has the option for turning the light off in night mode. Original Review: Got it connected after a few tries but then after I closed the app and came back to it, it never connected again. Tried hard resets and everything. Will give a higher rating if fixed in the near future

Can't even set up my brid. It will find the air purifier, but then says something went wrong when trying to connect.
A new usefull version!
I hardly write reviews, but this application has so many issues. I'd like to see separation between my brid devices, I can rename them but regardless of what I rename them it seems if I turn one off, they all go off. Same with light dimming/light off. I have to power cycle the devices to reconnect to the app, so it never stays synced, which gives the constant errors in the app. For now the app is worthless, because I don't want to keep powering on and off my devices to sync to my phone.
