Bridge Base Online

This is the best bridge app, but its internet connectivity is really frustrating. When I have a strong WiFi connection and everything else is working great, BBO often won't even load successfully. Seems like maybe it only uses mobile data even when you're on WiFi? Also, lately the display of the cards in your hand sometimes gets garbled and only shows half of some of the cards. I think this is new.

1. Play is interrupted very annoyingly by Facebook adverts. Using back arrow often goes too far and causes a log out. 2. Weirdly l find that I become disconnected without any action on my part. This means everybody else has to log out too, and re-log in from the start. So frustrating and annoying. Otherwise, when play can proceed, it is a joy to play.

I have really enjoyed playing this Game. I think the game is almost perfect... there's only one improvement that i can currently think of. I think that people should be able to kick others from the table for being away for too long, or at least be able to start a vote ( where 3 players have to vote yes ).

All of a sudden, with effect from today, I find bbo occupy full screen on display area of Android screen. The options like "play", "people", "account" etc overlaps with the phone navigation options of "back", "home" and "show open apps" keys. Whoever has done this blooper, please revert it to original status so these do not overlap.

Worst robots ever. Dropped AD for NT bid. Never leads suit you bid. Constantly overbid. Experts must play with newbies - all skill levels are in same area, no separation by skill level. Constant "be nice" messages. A lot of frustration among players due to skill differences. Too many ads. 5 second wait to close ads. Long waits for players to join tables. When a host removes someone, host name is NOT shown in the message so players don't know who did that. Not easy to join a specific table.

Used to think bbol was great. A few niggles but mainly minor until the May 13th update. Now you have to subscribe to the new 'Prime' service to be able to play a casual game with friends. I can understand the need to recover costs but it would have been better to be upfront about what you were doing. Spent an hour last night just trying to get a casual table started. Would be nice if history captured 'Total Points' games too rather than only those played for IMPs.

Trying to play with a predetermined group of people is practically impossible. It keeps saying "player offline" even though i can message the person on the app. Likewise, sometimes two people can see each other online, and another two people can see each other as online, but the two groups can't play a game together because the other players are "offline".

Horrible! Only Microsoft can acquire a program to totally destroy its beauty. More than Artificial Intelligence what you get is a program with a lot of artificial idiocies. The DOS version was much better than this one, much more user friendly, faster, easier and more useful to bridge players.

The biggest problem is the Android app freezing during play, requiring multiple log-off and logins to complete a game. I cannot understand why this cannot be fixed. Other than that the graphics and layout etc are great.

I've played thousands of hands with this app and on the website and while the graphics are great, there is something terribly wrong with the algorithm they use for dealing the hands. It used to be only unacceptable in solitaire but now it happens in casual as well. The hand distributions are totally skewed: 5-1, 6-0 breaks, your p never has any of your suit. You never see hands like theirs in any rubber or duplicate deals. It's too frustrating now and I quit. Look elsewhere for a decent game.

Of late, I observe that system gets stuck up, when my left hand opponent leads. I can neither play, neither go 'back', nor log out. I had to call the director n he logs me out. Of course, I cannot play that deal. I have to log in again. However, this is happening everytime my call stands and my lho leads.

Now broken. It used to work. Like the others that say it locks up, I concur. Have tested on multiple networks, behavior is the same. Opene a case, got a template answer that it was my network or the path between me and them. That is nonsense. They have a bug and won't look for it.

Was recommended this app. Had great trouble registering before having to contact support. Once sorted have tried to set up profile picture that does not work in the app and crashes when tried online. After two days have not got in a position to play bridge. Sorry, to date not impressed.

They have kept up marvelously with all the covid-19 problems, setting up full tournaments, as needed. Meanwhile, I'm still able to play my little practice games. Incredible that they've been able to accomplish and maintain this all so quickly.

Why on earth the automated partner is so stupid? It keeps raising calls when not at all required? In 1D redoubled game it raises call to 2D! Also it depletes the trump cards by opening the play with it! In many games I would get one or two tricks more if not for this stupid robot! Retune the robot to be a bit smart! And put some ads inbetween games. It's tolerable and you will get some revenue to revamp the game altogether. Make a free random multiplayer mode if possible.

Love having this, but the app could use some work. Primarily: a much easier way to compose a convention card, and less lag (this has gotten better over time, but is inconsistent). Will continue to enjoy the greatest card game on earth -- mobile!

I've been a fan of Bridge Base for years, but this app makes it impossible to play. It always hangs after a minute or two of play. Very frustrating. Guess I'll just use a browser to access the BBO web site to play.

Very disappointing. It took over 35 minutes to get on to a prearranged table with attempts to enter blocked by constant inexplicable error messages. Was told off by a bot for not making chat messages private but there was no help on how to do this. When finally seated, I had sight of the table and usernames but otherwise the screen was blank. Had messages from fellow players asking me to bid but with no bid information or sight of my hand, this was impossible. One hour wasted.

Constant connection problems when playing solitaire on my phone. When I play on my laptop from the website there is never a problem. It has become really slow. As for solitaire it is generally rubbish but acceptable.

Use to like it, but now whenever I play 4-game solitare it locks up after 1-2 hands. Have to restart tablet to get out of it. Thought restarting might help, but it doesn't. Also tried uninstalling & reinstall, but locked up on 1st hand. Frustrating. Don't have this problem with any other apps.

I love this game. It's the best. But lately the app closes in the middle of a game ALL THE TIME! So frustrating! Please add a feature where we can go back to our previous table!

It is a monster app that covers seemingly every type of play immageable and from beginners through master players having many master points. Have used about a month. Have played alone, with my choosen partner and against chosen known opponents.

The game kept stopping within a few seconds, saying that connection is lost and that I should check the internet connection. However, I was able to play other games without any problem. So clearly, net connection is not the problem

Now I have facing a problem after upgrade the version,I can't send reqest to my partner for a casual game though he is online its show as not logged on and whenever I enter in casual mode already the no of people I follow or in my friend list that number reduced to 1 or 2 though they are all online and if I left the casual mode everything become normal.Plz fix up this problem.

Fun for a while then it closes unexpectantly in the middle of a game. Reported it but the tips are no help. I am not going to reboot every time it happens, which is everytime I play a game.

Good app, but several bad points. The hands are clearly not random and you can suddenly be replaced by a robot for no reason. Good for practice hands though.

There is an alligator that comes across the screen and does not allow the game to go on. It is link to an app that advertises an on line college. Very very annoying

Im trying to register and the app wont let me. I put in my usename less than 10 charactors, my password less than 10 also. Put in my gmail email and checked both boxes. The email space is in red. Wont allow me to click next to finish registering
