Bridge Bidding Coach
Bridge Bidding Coach is based on Standard American rules and incorporates some of the more widely used conventions, like Ogust, RONF, Features, Jacoby Transfers, Blackwood, Roman Key Card Blackwood, and others.
Bridge Bidding Coach is mainly for beginners and novice players who are excited about bridge and want to get better. However if you are a more advanced player, I challenge you to download the app and see if you can get 100% in all 9 practice scenarios (not as easy as it sounds).
Bridge Bidding Coach is your personal trainer, and with it you will learn how to bid the following scenarios to perfection in very little time:
Opening Bid
- This is the very first bid in a bridge auction.Overcalls
- Learn the subtleties of overcalling an opponent's first bid.Responding to a minor opening
- What to do when your partner opens with a minor suit.Responding to a major opening
- Same for a major opening.Responding to a NT opening
- Here your partner opens with 1NT.Responding to a weak opening
- Not as obvious as you may think, few people practice this.Rebid
- Your time to bid again after your partner responds.Rebid a weak opening
- Your turn again after a weak opening.

Doesn't make any sense. I am a begginer and I wanted to practice 1NT openings but the responses I get from the app and the instructions from class are totally different. I will stick to my classes since what you say doesn't make any sense at all...
Can't switch between standard and acol. If you play acol this is no good but I do like the design.
Very bad There no crouching after first 3 pages It don't open and they r telling we r perpring . It is a very tiring experience
The suits are not even in the right colour! Very confusing .
For beginner to intermediate bridge player.. Improve your knowledge about bidding bridge.. Great.
When the coach tells you to bid 1 Diamond when your hand has 14 points, 7 clubs including A K Q and zero Diamonds it might as well send me off the cliff. I admit I'm a novice but this makes no sense to me. If someone can explain why a bid should be made for a void suit that makes sense, I'll change my rating. (Shaking my head on this one)

Inconsistent rules...& Counting ...has screwed me up & now I'm unsure when bidding & answering my partner!!
This app would be great but too many erroneous responses e.g. 12 total points should pass but it says "with 13-19 points bid..." or with 19 combined points it will say "not enough points - pass". Don't know if app has been hacked but really stupid responses at times. Also no way to report problems.
First tutor I've found. Still learning and not sure about weak 2 bids yet. Looking forward to testing my bidding in game situations, considering I only play for real once a month.
Simple and straightforward. No frills. Does the job. Maybe a bit more explanation of how the points are derived (singletons, doubletons). Very useful. Thanks
Really, really helped my game. Some flaws but not enough to hurt. Use it on my tablet at home and phone while waiting in line.
Its an ok app but there are mistakes in biddings . Its a good app for begonners to understand basic bidding rules.
Cannot see all of bottom of hint window, no graphics option to fix. On 480x854
The last 4 items on the menu just keeps trying to find hand to show, working on phone and it works, need a copy on tablet and it doesn't. Work, need weak 2's response,
The settings page does not show whether a particular convention is selected or not. Also would be nice if it differentiated between hand points and hcp, as that may trip up a brew bridge player. Otherwise a very helpful app to learn and practice contact bridge bidding.
In new version responding to a weak opening,rebid a weak opening and general review. These are not open. Pls reply me.
The bids at top of page should show suits in correct color, not all black. Found errors in some bidding situations
Good idea, but there is way too many recommended insane bids, like passing with 18 PC as opening bid
Would be 5 stars but no weak opening and a few answers incorrect.
Nice practice but the app needs some work. The"report hand" button tries to share the hand to another app.

This is an excellent tool for beginners and intermediate level players to learn bidding.

Great idea for new and mid capable players. The "respond to weak opening" worked once but will not run a second time. Uninstall/reinstall but still did not work. The reset high scores did not work either. Thanks for the great effort. I'm looking forward to trying this out.
