If display brightness is set to auto, this app is dimmed by brightness setting. Since auto-brightness dims the display in the absence of ambient light, that kinda defeats the purpose. Of course a dim flashlight will last a lot longer; maybe that's an advantage. Full screen--regardless of screen geometry--is wonderful, and this app would be utterly perfect if it overrode auto-brightness.
This app I swear makes the best flashlight for an Android phone. Just what I've always needed. No fancy colors, auto to full brightness, and doesn't shut my phone down (like lock screen off.)
works fine and goes to brightest setting automatically. Would be nice if they added a on and off button on the screen as well as maybe an SOS flash pattern like ive seen on other apps, but this one does what it says its gonna do, no extra settings to do etc. I dont have auto brightness sensor on my phone so its always manually set, but even if I have the phone on the lowest brightness setting and use the app it goes to full brightness white screen to it can be used as a flashlight without having to do anything else to your brightness settings etc and when you close the app it goes back to your screen with the brightness you had it set at before.
Does what it says. Makes a white screen at your devices max setting. If its not bright enough for you, buy a flash light because no app can make it brighter. Auto dimmer? Cover the sensor/camera with your thumb... Rocket science ftw! =) Was good enough to replace a light table on my tablet.
No bells or whistles, just a 100% bright white screen until you turn it off. Most similar apps don't override the usual screen timeout so they turn off after your usual screen timeout period (pointless) - this one doesn't :-)
This app is not for looks, Which is good because very small size app and doesn't require weird permissions just for a bright light lol. Thanks.
I don't use the auto-brightness on my phone so, I have no problems with this app.
It does just what is suposed to do when you open it. If you need to turn off just close the app. Why would you want to have the app open with the light turned off? I'm glad this option doesn't exist.
It is what it says. When I searched for a screen flashlight this was the only one that didn't need any special agreement (none) this is the 1 you want ;)
One of most reliable and best working apps! I have no problems with it and it hardly uses any memory space. Only 665 kb! I definitely recommend this app.

When I got my Moto E 2nd gen. I was so disappointed that the phone has no flash. Never thought a phone as well made as this one would not have a flash for camera. This app comes in handy for light and is brighter than others I tried. Some other screen light apps would turn off every time I handled the phone and touched the screen which was so annoying. This app does not do that. It stays on until you close it. Works very well.
