BrightID - Identity Network
Unlike a government identifier such as a Social Security Number, a BrightID is self-issued and verified by close friends or relatives. Personal data is not shared with a central organization.
To become verified and receive a BrightID score, make connections and form groups with the people you already know well. Groups are usually small (3-10 people) and are used only for verification. To learn more, read the BrightID whitepaper: https://www.brightid.org/whitepaper .
Your BrightID has an associated score which represents your likelihood of being a unique person in the network. BrightID holders join groups and make connections to increase their scores.

The name and photo you enter in BrightID are only shared with people in your personal connections list. Your name and photo are not stored or used by BrightID outside of your device.

Terrible buggy application which claims they have p2p verification, but in practice it doesn't work. I added many friends and colleagues of mine and they didn't get verified with p2p and had to do verification zoom
Its a good app for identity verification, however,the recovery process is tedious and the rules are not known. Must the two social recovery connections use the same link at the same time or different link at the same time? Also after moving to the next stage,it keeps rolling without giving space to enter password
If you create an account and do not setup recovery connections you cannot get your account back. This forces you to create a new account which defeats the purpose of the app. No support options for account related issues. Great idea, terrible implementation.
Can't add photo. Tried by taking a photo or loading one from gallery. No way to go forwatd, all I can see are the scale and rotate buttons. ... Taking back my feedback. In dark mode the confirmation check mark is literally invisible
Very bad experience. Just go to their discord and see how many people are completely lost. It's completely counter intuitive and waste your time for trying to attend meetings on discord in the middle of the night and play stupid games.
Very dumb ID system, I changed phone and there's no way to get my account since I didnt setup recovery contacts, no simple email or login system 😓👎
It is easy going and smooth
After 2 zoom meeting, with promise of being verified, it's quict alarming that a project like this is being controlled by admins who don't care about the welfare of their users.... #sentinel is my id ...work on ur verification team , or you guys won't move forward... thanks
I had this app before i lost my phone. Now to download it back is a problem. Why wont Bright ID download on my phone?
Never worked properly for me. It complains client error continuously.
Huge pain to get verifyed, bad UX & UI..........try it but be prepared to loose time.

Can't link gitcoin or others, app keeps throwing NETWORK_ERROR. Feels like it needs a bit more polish and testing.
