This app is useless if you don't have the issue specified below!
This application is for LG devices that are suffering from "Unable to increase brightness due to overheating!" issue. The app provides a permanent and easy one click solution to address this issue.
Usage:
Just install the app and grant it super user access (Root Permission).Hit apply permanent patch and reboot after 10 seconds :)Check for two days if the problem is goneYou can uninstall the app after being successful (Its 0.2 MB anyways)!
FAQs:1> Is this patch safe?YES that's why we made that ;)
2> So does this cancels the whole safety throttling procedure?NOPE this only restricts from brightness getting being decreased by the system and nothing else. Everything else remains same!
3> What can I do to remove throttling(thermal).We have paid apps that does a lot more other than that. You can check those out too. Those apps are meant for Tegra and Exynos series of SOCs though.

My tablet is not rooted
Previously it was not working on LG-F180S because it was not rooted. Now my phone is rooted the Brightness Patcher is working. I'm enjoying 100% brightness all the time. Thanks
But beware of possible side effects, slow phone. Not a problem of this App but more an lg issue. Dev is super helpful in emails and has recommend some apps to help with slowing.
I'm using a aosp ROM so dunno if it is working, but I'm on a d855 with cm12.1
After applying patch and reboot I cannot use wifi, once it got disabled and rebooted now wifi is working fine.
My phone is Android 6, I still cannot adjust brightness to 100% when temperature is high. Waiting for new version from developer. Thank you very much.
Works great, developer responds to problem and fixed issue.
Doesn't work on Android 6, LG G3. Is there any way the develeper will make it work? (It worked on Andoid 4.4)

On my rooted LG G2, stock rom, dorimanx kernel ...no more annoying automatic reduced brightness
Rooted and installed. Applied patch and rebooted but does not work.
I cannot chamge my brightness level after applying the patch. When sliding the brightness bar, the brightness level did change but reverted back to the highest level.
No more brightness decrease with this app.. Excellent job!!! :)
This brightness thing is annoying and this is the only "fix" I could find. But it doesn't work on LG Volt.
