the only downside is that the slider doesn't slide, but having the control right on the notifications tab is great! Also, after snoozing it, I could only turn it back on by restarting the device.
Very intuitive app that does what it says. Note that one might have to restart their phone to force the app's notification to the top of the list.
It works pretty well. It should be tweaked to match the position of the stock brightness slider, but it is good for what it is when you do not want to have to pull the status bar down twice.
I am using Xiaomi Mi A1 with android one stock and I have to slide down TWICE to access the brightness slider, super annoying. However, thanks to this app it's all good and fast now. Totally recommend for Android one user!
Just started using but so far it's awesome. Puts the slider in the notification panel like it says. Works well.
Just what I was looking for. So tired of having to swipe twice. Just to adjust the brightness....
It's good but! you need to improve it because it doesn't slide u need to tap it not to slide it.plsss improve it!.Tnnx
Simple solution to put the brightness control back where it should be in the notification panel.
Nice. Just hope it doesn't keep crashing like all the others of this type.
easy to use n it works. tx
A) it's a slider you can only tap on, and not slide, and B) there's no widget, not status bar integration or overlay, nothing but the notification (which I guess for most people is rather pointless if not annoying) and C) it doesn't dim the screen as well, it just moves within the original brightness levels.
I installed a new ROM which didn't include a brightness control. The app does what it promises to and the size is not too large. Overall a decent app.
This is a much needed app for me. Thank you Apps By Usman for creating it.
Exactly what I needed. Thanks!
Make it slide smoothly instead of weird tapping
Its not a slider, just sits in the notification bar
Does what is says.
UPDATE: WHY IS IT SO BIG??? 🤔 This application actually solves two problems I've faced with my Axon 7. #1 the carrier logo when I have no notifications was actually annoying. #2 constantly sliding the brightness bar was annoying. THIS APP removes the carrier logo permanently, AND with one simple click i can select 50% brightness or AUTO. Also the fact that I have the option to change the color to match my status bar makes this toggle look 100% stock! I LOVE THIS APP!
Using this on RemixOS 3, which doesn't give you a brightness slider and the fn+brightness keys on the laptop don't work.
I love your app but need more improvement because you can't slide it you only can tap it pls fix this bug so my five star is worth it
very good but slow working... only work if tap on the lines point.. sliding is not working...plz fix bugs
Sliding not working, it's only work like button.
It's great and smooth on my Htc , but i wished that i could slide it , in case of tapping... But anyway great thanks !
Good for Android 6.0 after they hide the slider with a double swipe
I liked this app. It is helpfull
It works😃
I have been wanting this for long. the automatic to manual toggle is a bit too close to the zero point of the slider. I wouldn't mind being able to completely remove the toggle. (after update, yes it's easy because it sets it to zero for a larger portion but it still doesn't feel right because the automatic toggle is right next to it so you can't actually click zero easily)
Lovely app, though setting to 100% or 0% (one of my most common actions) is too finicky. I would suggest adding some space to the left and right of the slider, and just turn that empty space into big touch targets for min/max brightness.
This is what i exactly wanted. Only you give this. But control is slow, pls make it slick. Thanks
Close to perfect. First of all this is more like a 0-50% brightness slider, 50-100% still has to be adjusted with the default brightness control. Also it would be really nice if there was an option to remove the auto brightness toggle, dont want it, dont need it, dont use it. Beggars cant be choosers though, and I can finally adjust the brightness one handed with just a single down swipe, so I'm happy. Thanks for the app!
