Not as good as the old app! Unintuitive and unreliable are the two words that spring to mind. Often it gives different times if you use the map and select a stop, as compared to the journey planner. Worse though is when the map (which I take to be live times) gives an ETA for a bus, then it suddenly disappears to be replaced by one an hour or more later. However often the bus will actually turn up so don't give up too soon.

Abysmally optimised and unintuitive. The app deleted my payment options, presented me with an error when I tried to update them and then wouldn't allow me to log out. Was forced to reinstall the app, then when I had to reset my password the app wouldn't allow me to input the last digit of the reset code I was sent. Had to repeat the entire process again. This has happened several times and it's getting mighty tiresome, as are the constant crashes.

Miles better than the old app and the times are more accurate now, but still could use some improvements... The ticket history feature isn't very accurate and it would be nice to be able to search specific stops and see the live board of times without having to scroll across the map manually. Not sure why that feature has been removed. Overall it's ok.

The app is missing basic things like the ability to bookmark a stop. It looks like it was built by someone who never used the old one or spoke to anyone who did. And, aside from the app, the rollout process was shockingly bad. Bad communication, no response from customer service when I contacted them, as requested, about moving my ticket. I pay more to buy tickets this way than I would to use the monthly card. At times like this I have no idea why I bother

The ticket looks like a child's game and is difficult to read. Especially if you have any sight issues. Can you not produce something that is clearer and more friendly for the visually impaired. Really cross there was no warning about the old app shutting down, which I actually preferred. This one takes a lot of mucking around to book and find your ticket feels like your trying to put too much in the app when all I need is an e ticket.

Ditto to all of the other reviews; it is a real step backwards in terms of information and regular crashes. All I want to do is find out the times from a stop - previously I could get this by using a dropdown box of the route and stops but now I have to try and find the departure point on the map which is nigh on impossible. This is progress!!

It's totally unreliable for live times and doesn't match reality or the live boards. The journey map feature is woefully inadequate and doesn't allow you to plan journeys in advance, which I would have thought was the point. Sometimes bus stops on the map are switched round and don't show the correct buses at all. You can't see timetables anywhere. The only thing that works is the purchasing and ticketing part of the app.

Temperamental, frequent crashes. It takes anything from 2 to 10 attempts to process payments for tickets (long enough to miss a bus or two), and sometimes the app shuts itself down (usually when about to present the code to the driver). A lot of the functionality doesn't work without freezing the whole app - and this is with a recently updated phone, strong 4G signal and abundance of memory available. The idea of this app is great, but the application needs more reliability.

This app has replaced a working, useable and useful app, I'm not sure why. Apart from being able to purchase your ticket on here, there is not much use for this. The 'tracked' times are wrong most of the time and do not match with the live times at the stop or the timetables. There are no timetables on this app and it doesn't show most of the buses when you look at a stop. The planner doesn't work either and you can't easily search for a stop. Hate this app, needs major improvements.

Needs a bit more development work to allow use of multiple tickets as a group. Relies on network coverage so you need to think ahead and purchase in advance. Ticket options for a journey are really confusing. I just want a list of tickets to complete the journey in order if cheapest first, with option for return. Fancy names of 'deals' are meaningless.

Every time I try to open the app, it crashes and kicks me out. Can't get to the main menu, making it impossible to use the ticket I have. Usually works okay, but not at the moment it seems. Don't want to reinstall as it will lose my ticket. Edit: the issue is fixed. If you contact their people on Twitter they will help you reclaim your ticket!

The ticketing aspect of the app works nicely, but the scheduling is terrible! I like the fact it is quick and easy to buy a ticket, but hate the fact I now have no idea on when the bus is projected to turn up. The old scheduling app was considerably better even if it was buggy as hell. Thanks for not telling people about pulling the other app by the way. This app is practically useless apart from the ticket aspect.

I use the key card so the ticket part of this (which I gather is the only bit that works properly) doesn't interest me. The live times are no longer reliable - I know you're aware and are trying to work on a fix, but how hard can it be when every other 3rd party app can get it working okay?! Shame as I used to use the old live times app a lot. Don't bother any more, either use the timetable or Google maps where the live times are accurate. Poor showing from such a big company.

Perfectly working for my 2 days visit to Brighton. Just flawless. Nice "plan journey" feature. Clear ticket options. Streamlined online payment. Quick to open the ticket when getting on a bus. Ticket also available when I had no internet connection. I'm surprised to read that other people are very unsatisfied, the experience might be different if I stayed in the city longer. But as far as I'm concerned the app is great.

i have a Key so don't need the ticketing option - what I need is accurate reliable live timings. The old app was miles better! You could bookmark your favourite/most used stops & easily see which buses (on any service) would be arriving shortly. Now it's more complicated & not very user friendly at all. Why on earth it was changed is beyond me! Very unimpressed.

The app is good in its design, but the timings on when buses are due to arrive are often a few minutes off so you have to assume buses are earlier than stated. I don't use it to buy tickets but it's a seemingly simply process. Overall is a good app but the key function for me is telling me when the buses arrive, and as it doesn't do that accurately at all it's not that helpful at all

Had the old B&H bus ap which was easy to set up & use with favourite bookmarked stops for quick easy access. This became troublesome so I uninstalled and installed the new ap. It's now totally unclear how to access or save favourite stops. Have emailed them for help and hope to get a response but first impressions have baffled me. ps have just looked at other reviews. Clearly there are serious problems with the ap. Please sort it or give us the old one back!

I hate leaving bad reviews but...it's time. I've used every iteration of the app since it was released and, while there have always been bugs, this is the worst yet. I can't pay for a ticket. I get a 404 error every time I reach the payment screen. None of my details save, so it always takes longer than necessary to even get to this stage. Please, for the love of invest in the app and hire a decent UX designer. It shouldn't be like this, especially considering the cost of the buses.

While the components seem to be working a lot smoother than the last app, it's so clunky and convoluted.. it feels tedious to navigate. The journey planner shouldn't be the first screen.. the active ticket would make more sense as it leaves less time for error getting on the bus.. also while the journey planner is cool... I'd much rather have a live bus schedule

2 stars instead of one because interface is a big improvement and like the map of zones and one click buying now, but it hardly ever works. Spent the first two days trying to explain to drivers that I have bought a ticket but it won't load. Keep getting 'sorry the app has been offline too long' even when I've got full mobile network coverage and Wi-Fi.
