Have not been able to purchase tickets for the last week, have tried deleting and reinstalling but to no avail. Incredibly annoying having to spend extra to pay by cash because the app is buggy beyond belief.
Always freezes and need to delete and re install all the time . Otherwise it says i am unable to buy tickets as the service is unavailable. Unbelievable! Noone seems to do anything !
I've been trying to make this app work for a week. It always just says 'you are unable to buy new tickets' . It's really annoying having to get cash out everytime I take the bus :-( And paying more because of that !
Fed up with buying tickets then not being able to get app up when boarding buses having to pay again or not being allowed to board bus.. Some drivers are sympathetic others aren't... After reading other reviews Brighton and Hove bus company need to sort their app out.. Someone is making a lot of money out of us who have to pay twice not the cheapest fares in the UK as it is..
"Sorry - you are currently unable to buy new tickets" - that's all I get. When it worked it was slow and crashing all the time. It's not funny when you're standing in the front of the driver waiting for the app to load.
The app continuously stops working, as many people state. The website says buying your ticket using the app is a cheaper and easier option, so it only seem right they improve the app!
It's an okay app...when it works. I love getting refused service even though I paid to get on the bus. Seriously unprofessional and badly designed. Even refuses to let me buy tickets now. Do yourself a favour and buy tickets on the bus with cash, this app is a waste of time and money.
Used to love this app, however now everytime I log in, I get a "service is unavailable" and I'm not able to purchase any tickets. Tried to get support but got nowhere. Very bad service.
Very slow and a lot of connection problems when it worked. Now, it doesn't even work any more from the last few weeks. Waste of time and money.
Just stopped working without warning because of reasons only known to Brighton Buses. No info in app on what to do, no info here on the Play store. Shame because it actually mostly worked.
can't login anymore. not even a message to warn us that the app has been replaced by a similarly awful app. more worryingly it kept my card details stored?
90% of the times does not work. I used to rely on this app to buy tickets but now I have to walk 15 min to get cash as I can't use this. Useless app
Has worked flawlessly for 6 months on Galaxy S7. Updated recently and now completely useless. Won't let me buy a ticket at all.
It was great, but it now says tickets are unable for purchase and I can't buy tickets at all which, as a student, is incredibly infuriating

Service is currently unavailable, and you cannot buy tickets. Isn't it sweet to discover while walking to the bus stop with no cash on hand? When it works it's okay though.
Completely useless now since you can't use the app at all anymore, but it doesn't even mention whether there is a new app available to replace it
Good when it works but recently it just about opens, says network error even on Wi-Fi, and today I was unable to buy a ticket
Great when it works but often doesn't..and I'm forced to buy a more expensive ticket on the bus.
Havnt been able to use the app for weeks, no information to say that the old app isn't in use now, you need to uninstall and reinstall their new app
App crashes constantly and hasn't been working for a week.
When it works it's amazing, however that is only about 20% of the time. It's really unreliable
Since end of august the app doesn't work anymore... I can't buy tickets.. because of this I lost money...

Possibly the worst mobile ticket app going. Riddled with bugs and force closures. Requiring odd permissions that don't affect app usage in the slightest. And now it's not even allowing me to buy tickets - just a black screen telling me I'm no longer able to make purchases but can use my existing tickets. Well, gee, thanks. Might just switch to trains for work, quicker and similar in price, more reliable service. Not to mention being able to buy tickets on an app that actually, you know, WORKS.
