No quiz grader. Our school only allows us to use quizzes, but I would REALLY love to have an app that would help me grade the hundreds of quizzes I grade weekly!
Does not work at all. If you have a course with more than one section - you can't select them.
You can only grade assignments! I mainly use quizzes. This is useless
Can't use it as there's app says connection error unable to communicate with the server when d2l site is working. App is useless
I was really excited to see this app, but I cannot get it to work. Like other users, I keep getting an error. When this issue is fixed, I would like to try the app again.
For a travelling professor, brightspace is the worst. There is no way outside of this worthless app to link the assignment grader app with my brightspace account, which is necessary for this app to work. Once I login through my school, the popup display shows a a circle that just keeps spinning around and around and no amount of "refreshing" will help me gain access to my account. Totally convoluted system that simply doesn't work. If you're an android user who wants access to brightspace please leave a negative review of the app so the developers might take theses problems seriously. DEVELOPERS: TAKE THIS PROBLEM SERIOUSLY!
Alright, I finally figured out how to annotate using this app. Unlike the iOS version, there is no 'free writing'; you can only draw one line at a time. How can I give written feedback one line at a time?
I've used this app to grade with some success. When it works, life is good. But lately, when I record audio feedback and scores for students in offline mode the app loses the feedback and rubric scores for most of the class. It seems to download student data off the server instead uploading scores and feedback. That's unacceptable. Hours of work are then lost and my time is valuable.
When I try to read the assignments that my students have posted, they have uploaded their assignments in Word (.docx) format. This app will not render their assignments like it does on my laptop. When I tell it to open with Word on my tablet, I get the message that the file isn't compatible with the Word version on my tablet. What does all this mean? I cannot grade any assignments with this app. Nada. I'm sad because I would really like this app to work.
Can't even open the app without it crashing.
Needs the same abilities as the ios version!
about time. It came out but it has the. Same issue the iOS has rubric marking. My rubric is out of 25 but it sees it as 85. On website its fine. Wait for not working app. Enter marks manually its okay
Could not get annotated PDFs to publish consitently. Half my class did get the annotated PDF the other half did not. The entire class did get scores though. You cannot access the annotated files to download and manually add either. Recommendation from help to un and republish not helpful either. I wasted too much time so I just uninstalled it. I'll go back to annotating in Squid and manually adding the annotated files instead. If you are just using the app to review files and issue a score, it will work fine. I would encourage any user to do a trial assignment before rolling it out in a class to see if you have the same issue.
Poorly designed. It only includes assignments, but not everything else that needs grading i.e., journals, discussions and quizzes.
