Pretty good. Shows me my grades, and allows me to see upcoming assignments and their due dates. Don't like the cases where it redirects me to the website, but those are pretty rare. Odd system to have you swipe to see your grade, but also weirdly exciting??
Absolutely useless. 90% of the information you'd want to see isn't available in the app, instead it opens in a browser. Fine, whatever, not a big deal until ALL THE LINKS to D2L broke and haven't been fixed since. Save yourself the storage space and just go straight to the website.
There is no PDF search or highliter and the calendars I'm not sure why but it's not at all working and it opens the browser for every video. Subjects are not mapped as per the semester, everything is posted like a dump If there's an epub file available, even that is unable to download. Mainly there is no feedback option or a place to share the review in the app, so I'm writing this review here. Thanks!
App gives me daily reminders of assignments or quizzes that are nearing deadlines which help a lot especially when you have a ton of modules to manage, this ensures we do not forgot anything. Pulse app also allows me to check my marks for all my modules easily.
It does what it says, but it isn't reliable if mobile is your only way of accessing brightspace. I've had multiple issues where my assignments have not been added to the callander and I ended up missing then entirely. There's also, as of March 2022, a very frequent issue with crashes when accessing a college homepage. By all means, it's a good app, but there are issues that should be addressed.
It doesn't send me notifications whenever my teachers post assignments and projects. Sometimes I would get surprised that I missed to submit something which impacts my academic performance. It also doesn't show all the tasks I need to do, I have to check every single course I have to see if there are any tasks. It's very inconvenient and needs improvement.
I have been trying to access this app for days now and it is saying that all my credentials are invalid. IT says it's the same as my Brightspace login, but it's not working. Not sure what to do at this point. Changing my password in Brightspace didn't fix this.
Cheap web app would be better than this, I cannot even see assignments and quizzes it's so boiled down that it's useless. I have to hit the three dots and launch the full version on web everytime, like at this point just make it a web app with some optimization for big and small displays
Very poor design for exam taking. The submit button is right near the "next" button for the next question and I know myself as well as a number of my classmates have accidentally hit the submit button instead of next in the middle of an exam. So we lost points and were not able to retake it. Also, you should be able to go back to previous questions. Poor design.
It's solid at linking you to the website but that's abt it. Zero functionality and plenty errors, you're better off keeping a brightspace tab open and save space.
If you are looking to quickly check up on what grade you got for a particular assignment then this app is great. However, you cannot see your class grade and it will take you to a browser app to see it. That's the point of using this app isnt it? To not have to deal with browsers to access D2L.
This app has been a game changer for me . It allows me constant access to my courses and all my assignments, due dates, and grades. I even have the ability to do work right from my phone when I'm away from my computer! I'm so happy I discovered this app!
It works and is great for organizing courses in a mobile format. My main complaint is that the "make available offline" feature is unreliable. I'd rather be able to download documents as pdfs instead of whatever it's doing now. Another school I attended used Canvas and I wish my current school used Canvas instead
Really nice, works great, nothing really to complain about, although it's kinda annoying that you can't submit assignments on it, or do a few other things that d2l has right there.
I use this app everyday, and while it's a lot better than using a webpage on a mobile browser, I wish it could access more sections, such as the icons on the top of the web version and the news feed, without launching the webpage using Google. With admin that uses news frequently, I have to constantly launch the home page to access it.
I use the calendar to see when assignment are due. It makes it so easy to see when stuff is due. I no longer have to worry about missing stuff.
Great app. Would be even better if it could open PDFs inside of the app. Another addition that would help this app is integration with Google calender.
This app serves no purpose. Everything it does is a lesser version of what you can do/see on D2L. I wanted to see a graded version of my quiz. It just shows grades. Nothing more. No reasoning for the grade/what you got wrong. It will redirect you to D2L if you need anything else.
Love this app. Helps me so much keep ontop of my school work. Getting updates when marks come in is super helpful.
It doesn't let you open up content and it's very limited. The UI is also extremely ugly.
this app is trash, to access half of the features you need to launch browser. it's also generally slow and the ui is ugly
Very easy to navigate and stay on top of up cpmi g due dates!!!
I love that everything I need is all together in one place. I don't have to search for upcoming assignments, or notifications for every class, I just click on the app and it's all right there!
My professors have posted several assignments already but I wasn't notified by the app. Also, the app doesn't display the assignment that were posted by the teachers. You still need to access it using the browser to see the tasks.
It worked great at first, now I don't get notifications on the classes I'm subscribed to.
Not bad! Great for checking grades, getting class announcements, and viewing your progress in the class. Other features often just redirect you to the website, which I don't really mind, except for the fact that the website doesn't support dark mode.
