Really great lots of perks!!! I signed my fiance up to help us get through week to week until his commission checks started coming in. It was easy to get him a small advance when needed but the credit reporting was a game changer!!! It reports he pays on time and his credit score has shot up drastically! I'm thinking about signing up even though I'm a stay at home mom just to help build up my credit!!! This app is 100% worth it. We pay $10 a month and build his credit!
I have sent a request twice to be contacted and no response back. My payment was taken out 6 days ago and it still shows it processing. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app twice and it updates daily. Use to be a good app but seems like it is going down. Plus the only way to get a hold of anyone is by some virtual chat. Would love for customer service to contact me.
Do not trust this service. Downloaded the app. Two days later got email saying I qualified for cash advance. The app said I did as well. After signing up for free month of premium service (which they don't initially mention) it said I suddenly didn't qualify. Went to cancel free month and was told I would still be charged at the end. Waste of time and misleading app.
I've qualified exactly once for a cash advance, and was not offered one again. This is the service most people subscribe for and they charge you $10 every month, when you likely won't qualify. Adding to that, my banking and income details were not accurate, likely leading to why I wasn't approved. Seems like a hustle to me.
This App is very sneaky. It started out ok, then I found out they actually take the money from your account the day before your pay date. They overdrew my account when they took the "auto repayment" & the $8 subscription fee out of my account a day early but it's been 5 days (it says it takes 2 - 5 days) & it still says it's processing the repayment. I'm not happy and will be canceling as soon as it's done processing.
it took a long time to get approved, but i did, there were no issues, low amounts to get you through till payday *EDIT* after getting ONE advance, i paid it back, and now the app is trying to take another payment, can't talk to a real person, only a virtual text assistant. Maybe will give more stars when I'm able to speak to someone. I don't like money taken when it's not owed. 🤬
I thought it was disingenuous that once you cancel they will still charge your monthly membership for past usage. This should be an upfront thing. Also, to cancel this membership you have to do it through the website not the app. The instant cash part worked great though but I don't think I would return to this.
If you want to pay $10/mo for nothing, download this app. After years of having Brigit, it is extremely frustrating to receive an email stating you qualify for an advance... only to be denied an advance 3 days later when you NEED it. The algorithms used to calculate score are unfair (for example: penalized for not making timely payments when you don't have monthly payments from that chk acct to worry about.) The app is a ploy to steal $10/mo from ppl who actually need every dollar they have.
Having issues gettingy account to connect, says it can access the login information but can't successfully find the account. Which seems weird since the login information goes through without a issue. Tried 3 different accounts each could not be found once my login info was verified. Very disappointed with this app looked forward to being able to try it and to give a good rating. But changed it from a 3 star to 1 star since I can't use it.
Complete Trash. Initially, I was approved to get the instant cash, when it came to link my debit card, it kept rejecting with an error stating it isn't linked to my account. I went to the desktop site to link the card there, but instead, it automatically sent me $45, half of what I qualified for and have to wait until tomorrow night to get it. I want to cancel my membership.
Would be 0 stars if possible. they have it to where you cannot switch to free. If you do, they try to have you claim a free month and tell you your next month is free, but it isn't, they still charge you and keep the free month popping up, but they never give it to you and there is no option to opt out of the, "free month." It's literally a trap. Edit: I did reach out to support before writing this and it's been over 24 hours with no response.
My original review only stated it was easy. I was in a hurry yesterday but I wanted to come back and just share my experience The app is user-friendly, probably the easiest set up and approval for a advanced. I downloaded the app and had the $50 I needed in my account in 20 minutes. I would recommend so far for the ease of the start of the app.
Worst money app! I canceled the $10 monthly fee a year ago only to find out they secretly started it back up without my consent and on top of that the app has me stuck in "I owe $90 advance " but my bank paid it and has visible proof in my statement but the app says I owe for an advance I never received. I'm working with the fraud department affiliated with my bank to get reimbursed the $200 I never authorized so be careful people. I would give 0 stars but it wasn't an option
I had high hopes. My bank account dipped a little into the negative, but not to fear! I was approved for an advance! Yay! However, because my debit card was locked I couldn't receive it. No big deal, right? I unlocked my card, but now Brigit says it's invalid. Ok, cool. I get it. I tried to update it. Nope. 24 hours of validation is now required. So I deleted the card to try to add again, only to get the same validation pop-up. As far as help, they have a list of FAQs. No way to talk to anyone.
It is nice to get the automatic cash you need when it works. It keeps disconnecting my bank account foe no reason then I have to wait to be re approved. Now it's telling me to update my bank app when my bank app doesn't need updated so it won't resolve the connection issue?!
This app is terrible. There is always an issue. It wont see my paychecks in my bank account. It keeps telling me i dont use my bank account enough. It says that it updated the info from my bank account about a month ago. This app is useless. What kind of app only updates itself once a month? *** *** requirements are fine, but the app won't update to check if the requirements are met or not. I can't even add my debit card because i get an error message. Terrible app.
Good Luck getting approved for a Advancement. It will tell you that you don't have income to manually enter it but it still doesn't let you because they can't find it, why tell us to manually enter it if your still gonna go by what you want to. Also you gotta have a pretty high income, the only accept certain banks, it's hard to get approved. Good luck.
Easy to use app, help build up your credit and qualify for advances when you need a little boost. Takes a little time to qualify if you don't have consistent deposits going into one bank account, but is set up to how you should be banking and building your credit/future!

This app takes entirely to long to process a payback and you can see it on your bank statement. Once this is done completely processing I will definitely be cancelling my subscription and uninstalling. Update I've paid advances on time now I keep getting an error message. I'm done unsubscribed and uninstalled. Do yourself a favor and go to Earnin
Don't try this app it's a total scam. Upon setting up the initial account your charged 10 a month. I received one $50 payment in 2 months and still after cancelling membership was still charged another ten bucks. So in all I borrowed$50 bucks and in total had to pay $80 back. STAY AWAY FROM THIS APP AND SAVE YOURSELF FROM BEING ROBBED!!!
I am a plus member so I pay monthly for this app. The first three months were great. I got an advance on March 25th and paid back on March 29th. It is saying that the payment is pending but repayment was taken out of my account on March 29th. I have reached out for help to Brigit several times and they keep telling me it takes five business days for the payment to process. Update: the issue has been fixed and is working fine for now.
Brigit works good. The repayment takes forever to show approved. Could be my bank. It only allows for a 50 dollar advance. I've used it for a while and rate hasn't went up. I've never missed a payment nor been late.
Thank you Brigit! You really save my bank account. Been using for over 1 year now and it's excellent. I highly recommend it to everyone. A Brigit Credit card would be great to build up credit while using the Credit Builder funds to cover the credit limit. I will definitely sign up for a credit builder then.
If you are lucky to not encounter any issues then it works, but if you have problems like I have had then just delete it. Customer service is a joke. They just send you the same unhelpful information that's in the "help center", and I actually don't think it's a real person even though they claim it is because the information they emailed me had nothing to do with helping my problem. I'm approved for money but can't get it. Just delete it.
I have used this app for a very long time without any issues and now it will not stay connected to my bank. I login and have to reconnect my bank and it works but before I get to the main screen it says reconnect your bank!!!!! Please fix the issue!
Over 6,000 banks and mine isn't included? Yet when I searched for it it was in the selection of banks. So one would assume it's an acceptable institution. Customer service said to add another bank, what makes you think I have the extra money to open a whole new bank account??? I came to this app because I need help financially. I definitely won't be recommending this service to anyone.
I started the credit building but had to cancel after a month. What they don't tell you is they will report it as unpaid to the credit bureau, Making you credit worse. This was supposed to be a "voluntary" program. I fully regret dealing with this company. Find a better way to build your credit, stay away from places like this.
well it was going amazing until an advance which they say has no interest, only had a monthly subscription of 9 almost 10 dollars. which was a big disappointment..I felt I bit mislead by the ads I saw but I just started and that's my only complaint so far. ***Reply to Brigit** Yah I understand and that is good and all. But sometimes people might be in a sudden tight situation and need to borrow and don't even have 9 dollars to spare till they get paid in 2 days and need food/gas to get to work🤷
I have been using this app for months, paying the monthly fee for thr advance and it has worked just fine up until the last 3 months. My debit card will no longer verify with the app for instant advance and now I no longer qualify for the instant advance since it won't update my bank account. EVERY time it logs and error. So what is the point of paying for your service if it no longer works?
