Original one star review updated to three as app does actually work. Flaky though and very easy to distort levels. Looks like it hasn't been updated in over 5 years. Might use in emergency only - wouldn't trust to broadcast a full radio show. Edit: removed another star as can't shut app down. It disappears but then reappears in taskbar. Choosing exit in app makes it reappear straight away. Lovely stuff.

I admit finding this app was a relief. I had agreed to host an online event before realizing I couldn't run SAM in a Linux environment, and couldn't get my mic to work with MIXXX. Hubby found BroadcastMyself which easily allowed me to connect with my stream and broadcast my music and voice streams. However, there is no "press to talk" or ducking, which requires one to constantly manage levels with two sliders. Balance was not good. Please add a mic on/off toggle & ducking.

The first time I used app it worked well bit sounded low. Next time I used app it barely was audible and then I used dcbl gain and sounded louder but squealed. This app has so much problems and yes the free version has worked better or i had never had bought this now. Need to make improvements like ability to actually shut the program off. Being able to scroll song names so you can see fully what song it is. Really so many problems I got told to stop streaming even lost my gig. A refund?

Its a very fantastic app for broadcasting, but need to be updated because it keeps disconnecting me at times while I'm broadcasting. Or maybe it needs a revision, other that than, I really love this app. I want to also make a suggestion, can you add a pause button so I can pause the song?

It works. It connects to my shoutcast server and it streams songs from my phone. Does not see my sd card, so internal storage only. I'd does not play the next song in the folder. It disconnects from the stream if not in foreground. Otherwise works OK.

I like it. One of the only android apps I've found that streams effectively to an icecast server BUT I can't get it to work with plug in mic, only onboard mic and for me it doesn't quit properly when I exit, I have to turn phone off and on again...

DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!! . Developer has disappeared. Crashes every time it connects. I've emailed the developer and it states that it cannot be delivered. Verify by trying to reach developers, prior to your purchase. No updates.

Worked the first time I tried it! Work the sliders to fade before talk. I'm amazed at how well it works! Just need an external Mic and all will be great! Music sounds fine at 128k stereo.

At first it kept closing everytime I'd hit connect. Them I found out it's because our couldn't keep up with my 192 kbit/s. So I simply had to reduce that to 160 kbit/s. Now it works great. Thank you for keeping it free.

Can play music, but as soon as I tap connect I can see connected but then the music stops and it stops broadcasting. A really cool project but would jot charge for it... It's an infant!

This thing is so glitchy. It takes over my phone and I can't turn it off without restarting my phone. There is a huge lag between me speaking at it being broadcast.

Very useful app, would give 5 stars but some of my prerecorded mp3 files play too fast and slind like the chipmunks. if there is a correction for this let me know and I will change to a 5 star score.

Seems to stream to icecast2 well enough. However, app is buggy and support seems non-existent, I'm yet to receive a response regarding the current issue, where the app won't shut down.

Used this app years ago with my first radio station. I was at a loss when I needed it again and couldn't remember the name. Searched for days before finding it...nothing else I attempted to settle for even compared. Now once again I can BroadCast Myself

not very good at all. very buggy. hardly connects to shoutcast, when it does it doesnt tell you. I've only connected successfully once

I don't want to give a star until this apps is not working properly!! I can't play music and i can't save it to control panel,, music does not show on to control panel pls... Help asap..

This is an edited review, as I previously left a poor review as the app did not work. Since then I have left it a while and reinstalled, and now seems to work fine.

Purchased this app, getting streaming issues, bit rate is starting from 160kbps, sometimes it's automatically close

Just bought this app. I'm able to make the settings but it crashes immediately if I start the broadcast. My device is Samsung Galaxy Note 9.

This is the best app for broadcasting, either a quick on the fly news slot or a full on show. Brilliant just brilliant. Thank you

Good little app which does exactly what it says. Could do with a little more metadata control but works well.
