This was a really fun game, the writing was clever and I felt I had a lot of plot options. To take things to the next level I wish there was a challenge mode where you were trying to sign a famous actor, or another the fire, make a certain amount of money within the season, build a certain amount of character connections etc. this would give the end result more direction.

The game isn't horribly written, as a book it wouldn't be too bad, but this is CHOICE of games. And the choices in this game are illusions. Having very little effect on the story. The writer is too much of a control freak to want to stray from a certain sequence of events he/she wants to write, rather than letting the audience decide. A cardinal sin in choose your own adventure.

One of the good ones. I enjoyed the story and setting, and thought the choices and writing were on par with some of the Choice's better titles. I can always tell that I've really enjoyed an interactive novel if it's left me wanting more, and this did that.

Decent story and all with some okay characters. A little random at times. Not bad at all, but overpriced. It is kind of simplistic, with a mild focus on management.

Fantastic. Multiple possible endings. I like it when the author adds lots of little details to make it feel you're really seeing an authentic world through someone's eyes.

This was very well written and filled with unique gems advancing it into a level above several other offers made available. Have not done a replay through yet but was impressed more by the depth of the first run.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. It combines elements of good storyline, detailed characters, and plenty of choices to shape the story.

Great plot, momentum and character involvement as a whole, never lost my interest from start to finish. Great piece of a story.

An EXCELLENT game, but ruined by a bad ending. Maybe it was the way I played, but I succeeded at literally everything and the end was just weird and didn't really make sense. Also felt like it just ended with no real conclusion.

Cool. I like the way immersed you in the time of 1850's while maintaining fun and silly elements to it.

The story is well written including different plot twists. For me it's engaging and deserves a sequel. I almost had Ms. Miller damn fire... hahaha

Extremely boring, the choices you make don't affect your stats after the introduction of your character.

This is a well-written period piece where you are the owner of an American theatre in New York in 1849. There are a lot of cameos: people like Herman Melville, Horace Greeley, Washington Irving; it even has the father of John Wilkes Booth as an actor in your theatre. I found it much easier to get a favorable ending working with the mayor. I could not win working with Buntline no matter what. He's a democrat so no surprise there but still would have liked to have earned the know-nothings trust.

I was honestly in love with this story. Given my own background in theatre and love of the dramatical elements of 1800's New York I was drawn deeply into both the logistics and the cloak and dagger elements of this particular adventure and had I the funds to buy the full game I would sadly I cannot at the time but this game is amazing I am a sadly destitute fan but an avid one none the less

This game is a historical novel set in New York Theater District as a theater manager. There are criminal elements and underbellies of society and even the highcrest and historical figures in this novel.

I wasn't sure how good this game would be, so I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the story. This interactive novel was interesting. I enjoyed the creator's small hints at historical figures, such as the nod to John Wilkes Booth. All in all, this story is worth the price.

This poorly written short story is way over priced.there so many errors i dont know were to begin. It would be like me writting 1000 word harry potter fan fiction and selling each copy for a pound or two.Your out of your bloody mind! You may be good at spitting out novels quickly for profit but your terrible at marketing them.

This game is amazing it is so fun to play i love the storyline but i wish the game was a bit longer but i understand how long it takes to write something like this. Although i would of liked it more if it was a bit cheaper.

I enjoyed the story and the "choose your own adventure" premise. Great for theatre fans!
