Broken Sword 2: Remastered

Bought this right away after finishing the first one. It still has the same fantastic art style but it was not as good as the first for a number of reasons. The two main issues were using items and interacting for some reason required you to click somewhere far away from where you wanted to actually go. The other thing was the jungle scene. I am suprised I put up with it long enough to get through it. Still, it's not bad but it was a dissapointment after the glorious first game!

The game itself is great. But it won't play on Android 11 phones. I recently downloaded it again to play on my new Samsung but it's not having any of it. Just the usual problem everyone else is having. 'Unable to load game assets'. Disappointing. I'd just like to add, I'd emailed the developer at two different addresses. Zero response. I'd say based on that, this games done. So I wouldn't waster your time. Or money.

The game itself is great, a bit of nostalgia for me. However, the port to mobile is pretty shonky. Moving in and out of some scenes can be difficult unless you find the spot on the edge - I'm unable to finish it as can't use an item as it's meant to, regardless of where and how I tap.

I adore these games. keep up the good work! the story is neat. the puzzles are interesting. having hints helps too. i ran into a issue with the first BS on my android, it had a very hard time accepting my swiping, instead of using a mouse (that would have made it easier) but overall great games! 💖

Got a warning when opening for the first time that the game was created for an older version of android. When I try to open it, I get an error that it cant load assets, and it crashes. Really disappointed, as I've just finished playing Broken Sword Directors Cut and was looking forward to this.

it's a good port of the old playstation game and works very well. controls a little bit off at times but that's not s big problem for this style of game. Stopped working for a while but they fixed it, started playing on Android 9, finished after updating to android 10 and still worked fine. Great game, I'll glad I forgot some of the puzzles, dialog still funny over twenty years later.

DO NOT PURCHASE Wasted money, pleasw remove this (and all the other broken, broken sword games) from the app store since it doesn't work at all, installed a week ago to play on a long trip, now can't apply for a refund. Thanks a lot!

The game won't start. It says failed to load assets and goes into a rebuilding bar that doesn't fix anything. I uninstalled and reinstalled it multiple times but still nothing. It was working fine before, this happened suddenly and now it's unplayable. Any ideas on how to fix this?

I absolutely love this game, the android rendition of the game was amazing..was bieng the operative... I'm on android 10 running one ui v2.5 and both broken sword 1 and 2 work, although my other phone,a note 10 running android 11 only boots broken sword 1 remaster, one thing I noticed was the error it gave in bs2 "unable to find game assets trying to verify" I've tried multiple installs+allowing to verify but verification always ends with 0mb download

Great story and graphics as usual in this series. Shame about the dodgy controls. Getting around in the jungle scene is a frustrating experience. You have to click nowhere near the objects to use.

Phones updated and it won't let me load the game any more 😣 shame as I had played the first one, got this and I've got the third one next to my PS2 (as much as the change to 3D was a bad move I still liked the whole nostalgia aspect). The first game still works fine, but why this? Come on rev sort it out!!

Dont download - purchased a game that won't load. This is running on the latest android software on a p30 Pro and the game won't load up and jumps straight back to your phones homescreen. Majorly disappointing and has been this way for a good few months since I downloaded it at the beginning of the year!

This misterious roll play game is enjoyable. It was a game I played on a game boy advance. Now you can get it on your smart phone. It is an adventure series. A collection of puzzles. Kind of has an uncharted game feel, Or an indiana jones. Except mostly puzzles. This is the second game.

Sadly this game really doesn't work with an up to date Android device as of 15/01/2021. Can't get past the initial load. Checks for updates then advises to contact support. Reading through the other reviews and seeing they haven't updated anything since 2018 saddens me deeply, the first broken sword game was absolutely oozing with nostalgia. I need my sequencial fix.

game doesn't work on my phone contacted them regarding a refund and they messaged back saying I have to go to Google play store for that and asked what was happening just incase they could help I replied with everything they asked for and have had no response back from them in over a week now. I loved this game when it originally came out. but there lack of customer support is astonishing.

This game was awful. It was about 6 hours watching someone take a leisurely stroll. The character movement speed is ridiculously slow. The pathing is terrible, and areas of a puzzle are usually very far apart. I'd ask for a refund, but nothing will return those hours of my life I wasted watching this guy fumble his way through a market place at a glacial pace.

Controls are a bit trickier compared to Director's cut, for example, focusing/clicking on an object you can't focus on anything else for about 3-4 secs

My favourite in the series, it was the game that got me interested in point and click adventure games. Translates perfectly to touch screen devices.

I love this game. I use to play this on the computer. Anyways, now i sm unable to launch it, i tried to uninstall and reinstall and it still says unable to load game assets. It doesn't validate and then tells me to contact support. Please help!

The developers have not kept their product up to date with Android and as such it doesn't work. It's a shame because I recall enjoying the PC version when it was released. The developer is still actively releasing new games, so they should probably decide whether they want to continue supporting their older products or remove them from sale.

Game refusing to start on newer versions of Android, BS1 working fine, should probably either fix this or remove it, especially as it's not a free game....

I advise you to not buy this game! It doesn't work on my new, up-to-date android, I get the same message as others concerning 'assets'. When asking for a refund both Play Store and the developers are telling me that the other is responsible for a refund. Update: Been waiting for 5 months for the developers to sort this out!

I experienced a bug playing this. At some point it skipped an entire scene/sequence of George's which missed out on some vital parts to the story and left me very confused at the end.

Broken Sword Series were some of my favourite games ever. I didn't know how this would work on Android, but it was first class just like I remembered from the console days. I hope you folks will develop another.

I love Broken Sword, but the controls are abysmal. On the dock level, when you need to use the mop on the door, it tries to default use it on the guard leading Nico to shrug and get shot.

Fantastic experience. Revolution are master piece creating machines. A beautiful tune at the end credits out of no where also.

Game does NOT work anymore on latest Android. Fix this because it's a great game. Also, we paid for it, we didn't rent it until you stopped supporting updates.

Got nothing on the first installment, I'd quite happily give this one a miss at the price. Game play is slightly naffer than the first, less puzzles and the plot is terrible. Really disappointed with the ending. And there's no way I'm playing #5 looks like a episode of paw patrol. 😔

Absolutely love the Broken Sword games, if you have never played them make sure you do, I'll be playing all of these android versions multiple times for sure. They bring back wonderful memories of my childhood playing PS1.
