App no longer working on Android devices (tried 2). Order does not go through although it looks like it does. There is a message that app was designed for older devices. This started approx 2 weeks ago.
App is easy and convenient to use and food is good. But can the app be updated so that we have the option of not having cheese on the eggs and bagel?
Not only does this app not functioning for newer phones, but the company doesn't care about our business. They have been informed about how in does NOT work with newer phones. The company and the people have a matter a fact attitude. There are many companies that go under with this malaise dismay with their clients.
there is a glitch that the app does not let you order. i have tried a dozen times to submit but for the promotion of $2 off your first app order the tax is negative therefore it does not let you order. Disappointed.
Update the app guys! It shows older info. This app is over 3 yrs old! 8/20/2020: Please!! Update this app! It is difficult to use and sometimes you cannot order! Come on!
Bought bagels at BWB store. Came home & set up app order the same. App order was an additional $4 above what I paid at the store. No good, will delete app.
App says it was built for older version of Android and to update, but there are no updates. 👎
The bagels are the best around and the stafd is excellent

Nothing big or exciting about this app.
Tried to order for the first time app said $5 off the first order ...the app kept crashing ...staff at store would only take off $2 claiming that's what first use discount should be ...app keeps crashing do not download

Be careful of being charged more that what your receipts. Check your statements. Will never use this app again and have deleted it after its happened to me twice. Being charged $62.00 when your receipt says 18.00 is not right.
User beware. There is an issue with overcharging in this app and the stores don't care about fixing the issue for you. Also why does it ask my religion? I guess there's a reason it has so few downloads. The business itself has lost a customer over their poor app quality.
Been using for about 6 months now. works perfectly for me. Just read e mail from them that they are changing the program and now you have to spend $100 to get $5 back used to be $50 spent to get $5 back. Don't like the change. May stop going there
Had 3 occasions in 2 months where charge on the app didn't match my ticket. Got it corrected once, didn't bother after that, just stopped eating there

Wow. Asking for one's religion is absurd. I get that to cater to a large Jewish sect, and that there may be dietary restrictions, but they can tell you when they order. Also, you can't enter your birthdate properly and I won't allow you to charge my card once or twice per month, or once per month. Is a person really going to remember if they bought a bagel and coffee 2 weeks ago? Too much room for error.
Why do I need to enter my religion to get rewards for purchasing bagels? Seriously?

The last update was Dec 2017. It's currently Feb 2021. Truth be told, the app looks like it hasn't been touched since 2015. While the menu is mostly up to date, it looks VERY out-dated. Many of the pages are wonky or don't work very well. Payments are not consistent which can cause unwanted problems. Furthermore, employees have told me that they often discourage customers from using the app as it tends to create a lot of problems for the customer. While it's nice that Brooklyn Water Bagel is trying to stay with the times, they need to be consistent with it. This app is old, clunky, not at all aesthetically pleasing, and needs to be totally revamped. In short, if you frequent Brooklyn Water Bagel, you probably know that you're best to get rewards by entering/giving your phone number rather than attempting to use this app.
