I love Brookshire's but the app needs to be upgraded so that it is more user-friendly! It's very slow to add items to the cart, doesn't show any similar products you may want to add & very slow to tap on the + when you want 12 jalapeños (just as an example). I'd like it to have the items that I've previously purchased in some type of "favorites" list so that it's quicker to reorder those items. I love the overall service, personal contact & efficiency of the personal shopper!
Very buggy. Can't remove items from your cart. as a result, I can no longer order anything because I refuse to purchase some of the things that are stuck in my cart. Trying to add multiples of the same item? It's going to take you a while! With the high cost of brookshire's groceries, one would think they would use some of that profit to really improve their app. Even the loading screen looks warped.
There are no images of products. The list feature makes set lists, not really something to shop from. All products from the company are listed, even if the particular item is not available in my store. The only way to see a total price of list items is to add them to the online cart, but if the product isn't available at that store it won't let you add it. Overall, this app just isn't shopper friendly at all. Also no loadable coupons feature.
Freezes up a lot. Some pics are to blurry or to small to read the product. Like the cheese. I cant tell if its individually wrapped or not and it doesn't say in the description. People under quarantine don't need this extra headache. It takes several days to shop for groceries cause of the continuous freezes. Then you have to start all over and find the product that your trying to add to your cart. Better than nothing but could be much better.
This new app doesn't work right, you can't sign in, can't add to list from the circular page like before but only from the list view. When you add to list it asks you to create a new list every item instead of putting it in "my list". There is nothing improved about the new app and it's just tedious to use, as a guest, because it won't let you sign in...just says "something went wrong" !!!
When the app was first converted to the new one, i could see the pics of the weekly ad. now i cannot. i am a visual person so the pics helped me make my list and know what i am looking at. i dont like picking up the newpaper ad every week and dont always have time to do so, therefore, the app comes in handy if I am able to visualize what I'm getting.
The experience was excellent. The new app works a bit differently than before due to the fact that you have to pay for your groceries before you pick them up with brookshires curbside pickup but once you create your profile the app is intuitive. I really appreciated them addressing me by my name when I called to pick up my groceries and the professionalism in which I was treated. I was never redirected to other departments over over. I would highly recommend giving it a try!
app was great then after update.... nothing. not one picture will load. no page view... paper circulars are a thing of the past. I shop with stores where the app works. I have uninstalled and re installed. super 1 app works fine. they are basically the same app. unsure why they can not get this one right.
After trying to fill out my info several times and the app telling me they need to send me a verification code I have been getting an unknown error occurred box! It says to try it later and I've tried it later several times! This app does not work!
I have been using Brookshires website then the app for several years to make grocery lists. I could download coupons then add the item to my grocery list. So disappointed in this new app! would give it 0 stars if possible. The Kroger app is so much easier to use and it was more difficult than the old Brookshires app! I have spend time making my list only to have it unavailable when shopping at Brookshires. Would prefer to use the old Brookshires app.
Two major issues with in my last 2 orders. Both issues witg the quitman store. The first was the charge me for out of stock items. I was in formed it could not been be cause the scan orders prior to bringing them to my car. Had to send them screen shot of my order the which included the missing items. Screen shot of my bank charge before the came clean. Only gave me store credit. 2 time I got 2 wrong ice creams flavors. 2 banquet pie instead of marie Chandler. World of difference.
Everything works fine but was wondering if the developers plan on updating. Need easier way of finding products. Looked through prepared food to see what was a available but would find food from deli, some frozen, and fresh produced. Not easy to locate frozen vegetables or any other frozen items without scrolling forever. When you know exactly what you want sometimes it is a 50/50 shot to find it from search. Maybe add customer favorites to make quicker finds for us.
The WORST grocery app/ order online for pickup I've used. Won't bother with pickup because I can't order! HEB and Kroger, come quickly to my area! I've deleted it from my phone and will only shop here when I have no other choice. It's a shame, too, because most of their products are ok.
BRING BACK THE OLD APP!!! This is useless on all levels. No circular pictures, only a list that is hard to look at. No coupon feature like before. Kept trying to say/set 'my store' at a store an hour away from me, never mind the other 15 stores that are less than an hour drive away. This "new & improved" app is total garbage! Don't waste your time. I expect so much better from Brookshires smh
I'm done, too many ongoing problems, more hassle than it's certainly worth. I'm very upset with this neverending glitchy app. I'm tired of being frustrated everytime I attempt to order groceries for myself. Life is too short to deliberately cause myself hours of misery from using this app. I suggest others do not waste there life as I have with this nonsense.
I tried to use this app several times within the last year and had no luck with it. Won't go through the sign - up/ sign -in process. Won't log in through Facebook. Gives error message and can't change password. Goes to email but gives error when trying to reset password. Worthless....
Awful 😖 app is no use. I have been going to Brookshires for years. I am trying to change my phone number. I've tried signing up. No luck. I put in my old number to get in the app. Changing my phone number is a joke. I was in the store and ask how to change my number for an update. She looked at me as if I was crazy. Once I got her to understand. She points at the QR sign on the widow at the office. Worst experience!!!!!!!! KARY LEWIS
I had to uninstall the app after installing it less than a week ago because it said I was using an older version. Once reinstalled it is now unable to pull up any store locations to for me to set as 'my store'. This app is useless & with the times we are all struggling with (covid 19), you should make certain that the app is working so that people can order food since we're unable to go in to shop.
Not impressed. I had to reset my password to get in the new version of the app. Maybe it's just me, but I can find any access to the Pharmacy through the app. And lastly, the new app does not allow you to move a portion of it to external memory (SD Card) like the old app. I would prefer to have the old app over this new one.
Great app... allows me to show my rewards card to cashier however it takes to long to get too... it should be on the home screen as soon as you open the app... Will say their local store pick up is way better than Walmart. I actually get texts & calls from their order fill staff about substitutions & they have even walked to the frozen section to read off to me what other options they had. Great customer service.
This is awful! Not user friendly at all. Gave up trying to create an order after over an hour because we couldn't find what we needed. Can't look at just butter, for instance. You have to scroll through pages and pages of dairy, all dairy products, and not in any kind of order. If you don't have the name exactly right, it doesn't find your product if you try to search either. Very disappointed!
Pictures never load, local site suck data isn't current, so if you want a certain flavor of ice cream that you know your store keeps stocked, you still probably won't be able to buy it through the app for pickup. Sales information and deals or coupons are not complete, no details regarding item descriptions or eligible items for certain pricing is ever listed. And the photos NEVER load. Oh, plus the app will run in the background for no reason, and continuously crash when opened.
As others have stated, the app does not open unless you switch apps after opening then switch back. Even after switching most functions are barely functional and the sign in button is for decoration only. My advice to the devs, delist the app until you have a working prototype. Brookshires is a good store and doesn't deserve to be tarnished by the poor effort you've put in.
It isn't very intuitive. The whole reason I installed was to use the Curbside Pickup. I can't add anything to the cart and I can't figure out how to add a payment option. Brookshire is 1 of 2 grocery options in town and they're losing my business because I can't use this feature.
Not very intuitive, and could definitely stand an upgrade to allow for easier quantity changes directly from the cart summary. I always have errors when submitting an order, and must do so 5-6 times to get an order to push through.
Love the app except for when you click on an item an icon comes up and keeps spinning around and around before it pulls the item up, it's very annoying. The curbside pickup service is great, love the customer service you are welcomed with
The app does not work. It is very difficult to find items, then even more difficult to add to cart. There is no way to add more than 1 item. When the item finally gets to the cart, a message pops up saying the item is unavailable. This goes for every item in the cart.
Update broke the app. This app worked great until the latest update, now the app won't open properly. When it does open, none of the buttons work. I can't go to my profile, login, or do anything at all. The app is useless in it's current state, please fix it!
Ever since the last update on 11/15/2021 the app has not worked. You get a message saying that your internet connection is not working but it is. I can't get coupons, see ads or even sign in. I have to go to Brookshires website to see the adds. What a pain... PLEASE FIX THE APP!!!!!
Needs some work. There are too many 10 for 10, or 2 for 1, etc where the price is not revealed. ( I have to see the price of something, before adding it to my cart, just like I do in the store.) Many items do not state the weight nor can you enlarge the picture to review it. Weekly circulars were slow to load or blurry. I would definitely use it if some of the issues were worked out.
