Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons

There is nothing wrong with the game itself but the Android port was botched and was never fixed. The game hasn't been optimised for newer versions of Android and drains your phone's battery very quickly despite average graphics. There are also numerous bugs including major audio glitches, gameplay issues, broken controller support and to top it all off a bug prevented me from seeing the ending, sending me back to the beginning of the epilogue in the middle of a cut scene…

Good game with fantastic graphics and a decent storyline. Unfortunately have to drop a few stars, as there is a major glitch with the windmill/bridge puzzle that wouldn't allow me to carry on with the game. Second glitch I had come across. Would've loved to have finished the game, especially since it is a premium title, so will wait and see what happens with the developers.

The game is broken. Half the time it does not respond appropriately, and when it finally does you just get stuck at one of the numerous cutscenes that randomly fail to load. I paid for this, either I want it to work or I want a refund.

I love this game, but at one point near the end, after the little brother flies away and the cutscenes play, the game glitches and returns to just after the last boss fight with no controls on the screen... Haven't been able to play the epilogue for this reason, and I'm a little annoyed. Please fix this.

So far I've been waiting for almost a year for you guys to fix the sound bugs as in: there's no sound effects in some crucial parts of the game, and even cutscenes, something felt off from the beginning but the originality of the title kept me playing, so I searched for an equivalent cutscene on YouTube and then it clicked. I've been playing for hours with a very defective port regarding the sound in general, but the ambient music distracted me from perceiving that fact. And I'm furious.

Great game but glitches at the end played all day just to have it continuously go back to the boss spider and I replay the whole scene and it glitches out again!! I would've loved to see the ending to the game I played on and off for 12 hours to beat!! If not for that and the laggy/freezing controls at times I would have gave 5 stars for sure!!

Great game but it definitely has some bugs. I'm not gonna repeat all of them but in order to fix the bugs just restart the chapter. Hope it helps.

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome game. only issue at the end... glitched and couldn't finish final task and ending. I'm dissapointed, but this game is by far the best game on android. Game crashes at cut scenes near the end and restarts at the same point. cant finish the game.

What an excellent combination of storytelling and gameplay.. I was utterly astounded by the depth of this game. I am actually at a loss for words to describe the unique experience of playing it. I didn't have much issues with the performance or controls - seems to be a well-executed console port.

game has potential it seems. two stars because its barely unplayable on my galaxy s8. game at times gets stuck on title screen when first booting. game doesnt work with an xbox one controller thoroughly. up and down is inverted and the action button doesnt work forcing me to use touch screen. hate to give it two stars because it seems like a really good game

Truly innovative and unique. I love the contextualized emotional language. Anyone can write text or make a character talk. Dual controls forces you to use both hemispheres of your brain. Sneaking a cognitive enhancer into your game. Brilliant!!!

Starbreeze, if you want port a game to Android, its fine but at least keep it updated. The game is riddled with glitches and has no controller support to date. The touch screen controls can be irresponsive at times. Took me several frustrating tries for the part escaping the invisible giant. version 1.0.0 since 2016 , really?

Gave it two star because the game is awesome. But the game doesn't works properly. The game crashes and restarts from the point where (SPOILER ALERT!!!)elder brother is hurt by the spider-girl. after that when younger brother takes his leave and during the cutscenes the game crashes starts again ftom the same point and controls becomes invisible. please fix this.

My personal settings recommendation : On Control - 'buttons' instead of 'touch and hold' That'd make this game extra smooth imo, hehe, other than that, just excellent. Oh yeah, if you've got stuck or there's an error, just restart the game, it'll fix itself when you come back and play it again.

Beautiful game, but glitched. Shortly after you save the troll from the cave, there should be cut scene of reunion, but not for me. Female troll just disappear and I stuck. Theres is invisible wall that doesn't allow me to continue. Tried numerous times to restart the game and checkpoint. Its all the same, sadly.

so fun! ive re downloaded it to play again so many times. There's two joysticks on the screen, one for each brother. It has a cool fantasy storyline with great gameplay. And you can play it offline! i highly recommend it.

4* for now. Graphics 9/10, Story 10/10, Controls 7/10 because of its clunkiness. I gave it 4* because the Giant in the snow chapter is invisible but his foot prints are visible. Also, the audio stutters at some parts and lastly, the epilouge doesn't seem to be played automatically after the last chapter which ruined the feel. I needed to select epilouge in the chapter select just to play it. Finished the game just now. 10:56 pm Jan 7, 2021

I played this with my little brother, and I'm completely unashamed to admit I cried openly at the last 10 minutes of the game. Well, I cried other times too, but those where from the sheer atmosphere and how emotionally engaging it all is. Absolutely genius how they used a foreign language no one knows (cuz it's made up) in order to establish a more unique connection with the characters. Flawless game. I wish I could forget everything about it just to play it again for the first time so-to-speak

I love this game. great visual, nice game play. for all who had the game crushed after killing the spider, try to choose the epilogue from the story menu. it's just the end of the game. I hope this game had more level to play.

Really Love the game still playing it but i stuck on level 11 it shakes and blurry frezes stops freezes it stops it jumps around blury and the control dont work when the two brothers have to run i want to play the rest of the game bit upset that i paid for the game but there is an problem with level 11hope you can fix it

It's very good so far but I think it's in dier need of optimization. Can the developers please make an update? The sound gets choppy, animation is sometimes not the best and it controls a bit clunky.

Glitchy,unable to finish. I managed to get to the final cut screen and it continued to revert to the chapter start. The controls are also difficult to use at times due to them moving off of the screen on occasion.

**A game worth the price** + Engrossing and emotional story + Unorthodox controls, you control two characters at a time but simple control + No timed objectives or any compulsory upgrades or requirements + Elegantly told story, enormous biodiversity + So compelling gameplay that I completed game in one sitting even if took hours + Great music and tunes - Sad Ending - Old graphics
