Broward County Transit Mobile App

Convenient but poor performance app takes decades to load maps at times even on wifi 4g or 5g and bus icons are very slow to update on map making you think the bus is further away. Also a bus driver rating system should be implemented because some drivers are truly outstanding while most are horrible.

I will never buy a paper ticket again. There needs to be some improvement to the offline mode, as it takes a few times of opening and closing the app before it activates the offline mode.

I was in Ft. Lauderdale for a 4 day stay and used this app for a $12 three day bus pass. You can only activate one pass at a time. Everyone must use there own phone with app. No refunds! If you bought 2 tickets thinking you could use them for 2 different people you just wasted $12. Can't use search to find a place by name (ex: Subway). Useful ONLY for buying e-ticket. Use Google Maps to find route and see where to get off bus, it works much better.

Love this app for using my passes. I just wish I could look up bus info by stop number rather than the nearest intersection. Kinda seems like a waste to even have stop numbers if you can't use them for anything.

DO NOT USE THIS APP !! THEY OFTEN CHARGE AN EXTRA TICKET. Never came across an app that stays on "Waiting to download" for 25 mins without any sign of movement. That for me, rates as a JUNK. I will keep an eye on any improvement. From ZERO, the only way is up. Update 2/26/2020: They have come up with a new ingenius feature where you it throw you in an endless loop to enable cookies.

The customer service is great, but the app is not. I tried three times to register. The buffering wheel appeared each time, and then nothing happened. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the app, tried three more times to register, and still nothing. . . .

I tried this with caution, not wanting to lose money. First , I purchased a single ticket, and it worked prrfectly. Then I tried a weekly ticket, and things looked good. On the sixth day, I got an error on every bus I boarded, eventhough I still had a day to go. I decided to get a single day ticket, and same problem. If the driver is nice he will let you ride, but this needs to be fixed. Calling the helpline got me nowhere. I will buy tickets at my library until an update fixes this. Pity!!

I was not able to access any of the bus routes today it kept saying try again, and again I even restarted my phone. luckily I remembered when my bus comes otherwise I would have been stuck please fix this issue!!!! Other then that this has been a helpful app when catching the bus but today was a absolute inconvenience sorry.🤷🏽

I liked the older version where I could quickly open the app and see when the next bus near me arrives. This version requires me to type in a destination address just to see when next bus arrives.

Love this app.... Very simple, very convenient, veryuseful... I've had no problems.... Works smoothly and seamlessly.... I just wish I could transfer my unused physical bus pass to it. That would make it perfect.

Badly designed for at least the following: 1. cannot transfer to another type of ticket. 2. each traveler needs a phone. if they insist so much, why cant they have multi-day pass vending machine at the airports and the train stations (Amtrak, tri-rail..) to give off these tickets. I ventured to buy them because they dont have a vendiing machine at the airport.

Down loaded it, and it's NOT user friendly. Won't let me select a route, the "double click for help" doesn't work. Just a hot mess.

This app is the most difficult I've used. Not user friendly. The previous app was 1000% better. Why do you try and improve what worked beautifully. So disappointed.

Very convenient to purchase your pass on the app. After you purchase, you can activate it. When you get on the bus you simply scan the QC code. THANKS BCT!

This app is buggy. Tells me I have to allow cookies which I have already done and still wont allow me to enter the next step in purchasing my pass. Sometimes when I activate my pass offline, it greys out for a set amount of time even when this app has offline capabilites.

Terrible design... no real time interfacing...just a big list of bus stops across broward. Sad really... a Dillard freshman could have designed it better.

I like that i can buy a pass to use right away. However the Plan Trip section and map do not work for me at all. It's like it can't find any address I put in.

Very cool and I can have my bus pass online rather than go to the library and find it close like a emergency that what I mean or if you don't have a library near you this second option help you a lot to get your buss pass online.

Its difficult to understand & not detailed plus there are no buses that go east & west direction on griffin road between 441 & university drive so when relying on public transportation you still have to walk 1-2 miles depending where your destination is

I set up an account so i could get passes to get to work because there are no terminals in my area, but the app said there are no passes available for purchase, i might as well just use Lyft or Uber tbh

The application is very peculiar about the choice of address you have for the credit card. Even if you changed your address, the application verifies it with the one you recieved on your billing statement.

Worst app ever!!! No help at all. Just makes a confusing bus system more confusing

Bought a pass and charged my card. Never showed up on my app and called three days in a row without any resolution. Just want my money back.

Piece of.... Was this app made in the 80s?? What a joke of a transit app. Routes do load. And why does the app want my email password to process a saves credit card.
