Ive done martial arts for a while now 18 yrs to be exact n this is quite helpfull its not perfect and could use some adjustments but its a really great app thank u for the assistance and breaking back from basic to advanced.
I tried to download it again. But everytime I download this app. I get annoying pop adds on my home screen. Fix this and I'll be happy to give it a go. Until then no way. It's not worth the constant annoyance.
I was trained in JKD for many years with a mixture of Kali in it. This app definitely demonstrates a lot of the correct information but I did not see a finger jab which is the most in my opinion important self defense moves that can stop fight basically almost before it starts. It's good for a beginner to understand but it also doesn't show any diagrams of vulnerable strike points on your appointment like the eyes, throat, groin Etc if you are just starting JKD it is definitely a good app to get an idea of why you're standing the bring the position that you stand I'm right-handed I was taught when I was younger to stand with my left hand as my lead and when I started training and learn the correct stance and the best dance to fight in is with your right leg forward right hand forward you want your closest hand to be your strongest hand because there's a lot less distance that also does not mention the snap of the wrist before landing the punch when standing in a relaxed position the whole idea of it is when you strike your opponent and you tighten your fist and snap that wrist right before impact it causes the brain to Rattle inside the skull which causes your opponent to be knocked out instead of the traditional American boxing where power is basically generated from the arms and you try to punch through the person. I did not learn this in a JKD School I learned from a underground Street Fighter who took me under his wing. Basically JKD was invented by Bruce Lee based on Wing Chun another martial arts wear the great Bruce Lee got rid of unnecessary movements and Telegraph when you punch so your opponent does not even know when you are going to strike and your strike is also your block where JKD gets its name the art of the intercepting fist Street Fighter throws a punch and you throw a punch you're coming straight up the Middle with from a shorter distance which will cause your forearm to deflect his punch and still connect with your opponent not slowing you down one bit. I would say if you are talk this art correctly if you cannot take your opponent out within 6 seconds you should have shot him. I highly suggest anybody in martial arts to drop all that nonsense stances and dances and just like Bruce Lee says Be Like Water when what their photos a cup it becomes the shape of the cup in other words your surroundings are your best friend. But this is definitely a good app for beginners to get a rough idea. I've trained for many years and I still do and I've only had to use it a handful of times and not bragging but I thought I was a badass before JKD but I'll tell you this after learning JKD anybody who is just a plain old Street Fighter and even has training in martial arts 100 has a very slim chance of making it more than 6 seconds with me. It also hasn't mentioned the six inch punch. The highly suggest anybody that wants to learn JKD to buy Bruce Lee's book you will get away more detailed and Anatomy charts inside to learn weak spots on the human body and why you don't throw a punch the traditional way and keep your fist vertical instead of horizontal and snap that wrist right before contact and close that fist right before contact
This app is awesome. I was looking for more information on Bruce Lee's philosophy and this app gives it. There is one place where a sentence doesn't make sense, but I have been able to guess what it was supposed to say. There is a huge wealth of information in it
I would be interested to see if the person presenting this app is in fact qualified to teach Jeet Kune Do. Because an awful lot of information in this app is not correct, I know because I hold relevant certification from a respected 2nd gen teacher. Show me yours I show you mine.
Really good! Lot of information, and well organized too.
This is a best app for learning martial arts at home. Thank you so much😊
Greater understanding of the principals that run deeper than his abilities, such the beauty of his art his unweavering focus on becoming one with the universe as he sees it which I feel is the attributes of a true "Superhero".
This app is great for learning Jkd, but please add videos so that everybody can learn more better. Indeed it's a nice app.
it has really helped me to learn simple but effective combat, a huge thumbs up to the developer
When learning some things/all things physically its also helps when you develop your mine by reading it will help the physical weather you have a ability to do so in JKD

Very detailed and very informative; it will never replace a good Sensi of dojo but still worth dowloading👍🙏💯
its a good app but you need to add videos and add more JKD techniques and the pictures need to be colored
Adaptation of Bruce's style.. consolidated and concise- concentrated on the basics.
The content is good but I request you to improve the design and look.
